"Are you still trying to hide it from me?" asked Ji Xinxin calmly. "I've given the matter some thought over the last few days. I initially thought that you were her, but then it struck me. If I could dream of her, there's no reason why you couldn't do the same. That makes much more sense than her suddenly traveling over to our world and taking your place."
She appeared to be certain of her deduction, judging from her confident tone.
Ji Fanyin was confused.
Who did Ji Xinxin dream of that left such a huge impact on her?
Ji Xinxin chuckled softly and continued on, "Staying quiet won't work, big sis. You know who I'm talking about. That woman who shines brighter than us both. That woman who shares the same name as you. 'Ji Fanyin'."
Ji Fanyin: "…???"
"That'd explain why you have changed so much over the last few months. No wonder the tricks I've used on you no longer work." Ji Xinxin's words were growing faster. "Everything you have done over the past few months, you've learned from her, no? But big sis, you're dreaming if you think that you can take away my men with just this much."
It was at this point that Ji Fanyin nonchalantly hung up the call and set her phone to 'Do Not Disturb' mode.
Ji Xinxin had already provided her with the intelligence she was seeking. There was no need to continue listening to her prattle.
Ji Fanyin lay down on her sofa lazily and began squeezing her newly bought plush toys while giving some thought to the information Ji Xinxin had kindly provided.
She hadn't thoroughly looked through 'Ji Fanyin's' memories before, but the earlier conversation with Ji Xinxin answered quite a few of her doubts.
Such as how Ji Xinxin started heaping mental pressure on 'Ji Fanyin' after recovering from her illness.
Or how the 'King of the Seas' skills that Ji Xinxin had slowly polished up over a decade looked oddly familiar to her.
While Ji Fanyin was deep in thought, the television in the living room was playing a recently popular xianxia drama. The male lead's master berated the male lead with a pained look, "I don't have a wretched disciple like you! Scram! From this day onward, our master-disciple relationship shall be severed!"
Ji Fanyin eyed the actor playing the male lead's master and empathetically murmured, " 1."

Ji Xinxin wasn't angered despite having the call abruptly hung up on her. She thought of it as concrete evidence affirming her deduction.
She was indeed flustered by the abrupt realization she had e to several days ago, but having several days to calm down allowed her to look at the matter more rationally.
It wasn't that difficult for her to confirm who the current Ji Fanyin was.
The 'Ji Fanyin' she had met in the dream would have never been interested in Song Shiyu, Bai Zhou, or Li Xiaoxing, let alone approach them. Given her standing and experience, those men couldn't have possibly caught her eye.
The fact that Ji Fanyin chose to associate herself with those men showed two things.
One, the current Ji Fanyin was still her older sister. She had only wisened up due to the knowledge she gained from her dreams.
Two, she had some kind of motive for approaching those men.
"It won't be that easy to snatch my men, big sis." Ji Xinxin gently touched a photo of her and Ji Fanyin on her phone. "I'd have been no match for you if you were the 'Ji Fanyin' in the dreams, but since you're not… how could I possibly lose to you a second time?"
Ji Xinxin knew that she had lost the element of surprise by confronting Ji Fanyin directly, but she thought that she had the upper hand here. She still had a good chance at turning the tables on her older sister.
Big sis might be smarter than me, but she's no more than a newer in this field. I might have lost to her when I was younger, but never again.
Ji Xinxin thought determinedly as she slipped her phone into her bag.
I just have to ensure that the men Ji Fanyin approached devote their full attention and affection to me. That's all I need to do.
