Lucien arrived at the site with Stone at his side.

The mbers of the Construction Division were already there waiting.

As soon as they spotted him, they greeted him with bright smiles and eager energy.

Shovels in hand.

Sleeves rolled up.

Lucien smiled back but a thought tugged at his mind.

"Thirty-three people... this might not be enough."

While Lootwell wasn’t as vast as other noble territories, it was still sizable.

Roughly 2 square kiloters or about 200 hectares.

Not overwhelming but far from small.

Fortunately, its mountainous borders ant they only needed to build a wall on one exposed side. Still, that one wall would stretch nearly 500 ters from one mountain to another.

And Lucien had decided to set it 30 ters away from the forest’s edge. It’s for better visibility and response ti in case of an ambush.

He looked out at the land and exhaled slowly.

"This is going to take a while," he thought.

Lucien also realized one major problem. They were still short on Sli Cent.

The plan was to construct a fortress wall.

Six ters tall and two ters thick.

Stone had suggested building two parallel walls and filling the space between them with earth, sand, or rocks to conserve materials.

But even with that approach, they would still need a massive amount of Sli Cent.

’Too much,’ Lucien thought grimly.

To speed things up, he’d have to personally help Skittles with farming. That way, they could be more efficient.

Unfortunately, drop rates were random and gathering enough materials would take ti.

To make matters worse, his inventory had been full for days. These days, he was just tossing the extra drops into his room.

Now, the place was packed to the ceiling with random loot. It was a hoarder’s paradise.

As a safety asure, he didn’t store the Sli Plushies there. He was half-worried they would transform into a statue right on top of his bed while he slept.

He sighed and made a ntal note.

Level up.

Unlock more inventory slots.

Farm faster.

Drop more.

There was no way around it. If he wanted this wall done, he had to beco even more of a loot machine than he already was.

...

Soon after, digging began.

Lucien watched as the Construction Division mbers threw themselves into the work with determination.

Sweat beaded on their brows and the sound of shovels striking earth filled the air. Despite their effort, Lucien couldn’t help but sigh.

He was just about to leave and call for reinforcents from other divisions when a familiar voice called out behind him.

"What’s all the commotion, Nephew?"

Lucien turned to see Maxim approaching, curiosity in his eyes.

"Uncle Max! We’re building a wall...a big one!" Lucien said, exhaling. "Right now, we’re just laying the foundation but it’s going to be a long road ahead."

Maxim’s eyes lit up. He stroked his beard thoughtfully and grinned.

"This is a perfect ti to lend a hand. I’ve recovered so of my strength. I can assist with the digging using Wind Magic."

Lucien’s expression brightened. "Seriously? That would be a huge help, Uncle Max!"

Maxim gave a confident nod. "It’s the least I can do. Just tell how deep and how far, and I’ll take care of the rest."

Lucien quickly called out to the workers, instructing them to clear the area... just in case Maxim’s magic went a little wild.

After confirming the asurents with Stone, Lucien turned back to Maxim. "We need the trench to be about one ter deep and two ters wide, running about 500 ters... from this end to the opposite side, right along the base of that mountain."

Maxim stepped forward. His expression beca calm and focused. He closed his eyes for a brief mont.... calculating.

Perfect Calculation.

Then without another word, he raised his hand.

A short chant escaped his lips as he released a stream of mana into the air.

Wind Magic.

"Wind Cutter."

A sudden gust sliced through the ground with a high-pitched whistle. Though it was just a basic spell, the execution was anything but ordinary.

The air grew heavy with pressure. Dust and soil flew in clean lines. The earth parted as if cut by an invisible blade. The trench ford instantly.

Precise.

Clean.

Perfectly straight.

Lucien’s eyes lit up in awe.

"Magic really is amazing..."

But it wasn’t just the spell. It was the man behind it.

Maxim’s skill, Perfect Calculation, was clearly the reason behind such flawless control.

Curious, Lucien used Inspect.

Lucien blinked. "Level 51? Already?"

Maxim’s recovery was progressing fast... too fast.

Within monts, the entire trench was done. A 500-ter-long channel carved into the earth with mathematical precision.

The construction team burst into cheers.

"Uncle Max, how did you even do that?! Thank you. That was a huge help!" Lucien said, genuinely amazed.

Maxim chuckled, clearly pleased. "Hehe Nephew... thanks to you, I’ve been regaining my strength. That mana core from the dungeon helped a lot and your crystal purified my body so thoroughly, I didn’t even hit any walls during my breakthrough. And with my skill, well... I dare say I’m better at magic than most."

He said it proudly without arrogance, just confidence born from experience.

Lucien was struck by his words.

It seed the Essence of Purity wasn’t as simple as he first thought.

’If that’s true... I need to let everyone in the territory touch it. It might help them breakthrough too.’

Motivated, Lucien turned to Stone and walked over to the side of the worksite. With a thud, he dropped over 700 sacks of Sli Cent onto the ground.

A collective gasp spread across the team.

Even Maxim’s eyes nearly popped out. "What in the world...?"

He shook his head slowly, clearly still trying to process the endless surprises his nephew kept pulling out of nowhere.

Still, he didn’t ask. He understood it was a skill.

And with that, the team prepared to start laying down the slab base for the wall.

Construction was officially underway.

Monts later... Maxim found himself surprised yet again.

This ti, it was the Sli Cent itself that caught his attention.

He crouched down, ran his fingers across the material and narrowed his eyes.

The texture.

The density.

The properties.

It was unlike anything he had seen before. Magical in its own way.

"What is this, Nephew?" Maxim asked, intrigued. "Where are you getting these materials? Haha every day with you is a surprise."

Lucien offered a vague smile. "Just lucky, Uncle Max. Let’s call it... a skill."

Maxim didn’t pry further. He simply chuckled and joined in, helping the team prepare the slab base for the wall’s foundation.

With his large mana reserves, he quickly beca a welco addition to the construction effort.

The wall was beginning to feel less like a distant goal... and more like a real possibility.

Soon after, Lucien took his leave.

First on his list....

Declutter his overloaded inventory.

He sprinted toward the forest.

At his first chosen spot, he carefully placed 99 of each plushie variant onto the ground.

Then without wasting ti, he moved to the next.

In total, he repeated the process in three different locations.

"Sli Plushies. Cleared!"

The sli plushies had been clogging up a ridiculous number of inventory slots.

As much as they were cute... Lucien felt strangely satisfied finally getting rid of them.

’If my hunch is right,’ he thought, ’these should turn into Rainbow Sli Lord Statues the next ti I co back.’

With that done, he made a beeline for the dungeon.

His goal.

Farm for more Sli Cent.

Fortunately, it was classified as an Uncommon Drop. aning, it appeared fairly often.... usually accompanied by oddities like Shampoo and Body Wash.

He didn’t hold back.

Together with Skittles, Lucien tore through the dungeon’s first floor like a well-oiled machine. His sli-slaying efficiency had improved greatly and with Skittles at his side, farming was faster.

By the ti the sun reached its peak, Lucien had gathered another 300 of Sli Cent drops.

He returned to the construction site and silently added them to the pile.

The wall was far from finished... but progress was undeniable.

•••

After lunch, Lucien returned to his room... and winced.

Drops were scattered everywhere, cluttering every corner. It was ti to do so cleaning.

He started transferring items back into his INVENTORY.

Once things were manageable, he headed out to visit the other divisions.

First stop... the Crafting Division.

He handed over all his collected Sli Gel and Sli Residues.

"These can be used as alchemy materials," Lucien explained. "Practice with them. Experint."

They nodded eagerly, already theorizing uses.

Then he revealed sothing rarer... His only Fireball Talisman, drop from the mage assassin.

"Use this as a reference," he said. "Study its form. Learn how it channels magic."

Lastly, he gave them a bundle of Radish Peel Wrap drops. It was an excellent base for talisman crafting.

The team looked like children on their birthday.

Next... the Spiritual Division.

To them, he gave the Sli Candles and Sli Patches.

"The candles have a calming effect," he said. "The patches can heal wounds. You’ll know best how to use them."

With their First Aid skills, the combination would be incredibly effective in healing and support roles.

Next stop... the Sustenance Division.

Lucien handed over the rest of his Nutrient Sacs and Soil Crystals.

Before returning to the dungeon, Lucien made one last round.

He handed out Perfu Drops. He gave each division representative a share to distribute among their mbers.

Finally, with his inventory clear and his deliveries done, Lucien let out a long breath.

He was free to farm again.

Right now, he wasn’t a noble. He wasn’t a lord.

He was a machine.

A looting machine.

His plan was simple.

Farm until the inventory maxes out, deliver the materials... and repeat.

As long as he kept at it, the Sli Cent would keep piling up and it wouldn’t be long before the wall was finished.

As for the other materials like sand and gravel, they had been gathered in advance and were already stockpiled at the site.

To be safe, Lucien had also given Stone a few Soilwyrms to produce extra sand in case they ran short.

Gravel, on the other hand, wasn’t a problem. There was plenty of it available from the nearby cliffs.

•••

The day’s work was already a success. The slab base for the wall is now complete.

Tomorrow, they would begin making cube concretes and finally start constructing the wall itself.

Lucien sighed again. This ti with exhaustion.

The good news? Skittles could pull all-nighters. He’d keep farming while Lucien rested.

Skittles was already close to Level 20.

anwhile, Lucien had leveled up but only once. It was becoming clear that the first floor of the dungeon no longer offered much experience points.
