As the day ca to a close, the construction gradually halted.

Everyone stepped back with their faces glowing with satisfaction.

The wall wasn’t finished yet but the progress was undeniable. And it was... beautiful.

They could already envision it.

A towering defense that would one day shield them from harm.

Lucien saw it too.

He imagined the Defense Division stationed along the ramparts, unleashing a relentless barrage of Sli Shots upon their enemies. The scene was almost too overwhelming.

He couldn’t help but chuckle.

•••

That night, Lucien returned to his room and pulled out the Magic Book once more.

He let out a long sigh.

Magic... Despite all its allure, it wasn’t simple.

But this ti, he had a plan.

Though he already possessed a magic attribute, casting spells was a different beast entirely.

Understanding them was one thing. Wielding them was another.

He had never used magic before and it showed.

Even the Household Magic remained out of his reach.

Maybe he had grown too comfortable relying on the system. It made life easy, too easy.

Hard work was a habit he hadn’t exercised in a while.

But tonight, that would change.

He was determined.

"Just one spell."

That was enough.

Sitting cross-legged on his bed, he summoned the Magic Book to float in front of him.

Its faint glow pulsed softly, filling the room with a quiet energy. The more he stared at it, the more clearly he could feel energies stirring around him.

He flipped to the Fire Magic section.

Basic Spells.

The first spell listed.

Fireball.

Lucien smirked.

"Co on. What man wouldn’t want to conjure a fireball with his bare hands?"

It wasn’t about destruction. Nor arson.

It just looked so damn cool.

Lucien sighed.

Before, no matter how hard he tried, there was no progress.

But now... He was certain. He could finally grasp the trick behind it.

Because...

[Ting!]

[You can only copy one skill at a ti per day. Are you sure you want to copy: PERFECT CALCULATION?]

"Yes." He answered without hesitation.

[Ting!]

[Copying PERFECT CALCULATION... 3... 2... 1...]

[Skill: PERFECT CALCULATION has been successfully copied.]

He had activated his Job Skill: Cram Session, allowing him to temporarily borrow Maxim’s skill.

Perfect Calculation.

In that mont, the world changed.

Lucien beca... a perfectionist.

The bed’s base was slightly off... he adjusted it without thinking.

The curtain hung unevenly... he corrected it with precise alignnt.

Everything around him now stood out with razor-sharp clarity.

With just a glance, he could see exact asurents.

Angles.

Distances.

He even felt like he could count the grains of rice in a kilogram by sight alone.

But finally...

With this borrowed power, Lucien finally spotted the core issue.

Magic as it was currently practiced, was tailored for users with mana vessels.

Spells were designed to be channeled through those vessels, following paths ordinary mages were born with.

But Lucien had none of that.

What he did have was a Divine Energy Core.

And that’s when it hit him.

This was the difference. This was the reason nothing had worked before.

Others didn’t have a core like his so perhaps that was the path. His path to using magic.

And then...

Lucien looked back at the Magic Book.

The descriptions were clear.

To cast magic...

One needed the correct attribute.

To channel mana through their vessels.

And to will the spell into existence.

But Lucien’s thod had to be different.

He had no mana vessels.

So, he closed his eyes... and reached inward.

Towards his core.

Fire.

He felt it.

Warmth blooming from deep within.

A pulsing heat that radiated from his Divine Energy Core.

"I see now," he muttered. "No wonder an attribute is required. Without it, you’d never be able to feel this. You wouldn’t even know where to begin."

He flipped through the Magic Book again, paying close attention to the subtle hints buried in the text.

"Fire is not gentle. It requires control. Without a clear image, mana can’t take proper shape..."

So Lucien did exactly that.

He pictured it... vividly.

From deep within his Divine Energy Core, Lucien coaxed it. He draw out the fire he now felt pulsing through him.

The heat surged. It was intense, overwhelming... but it didn’t burn him.

The fire was hot.

The fire was him.

He was fire.

His eyes flared with a fiery glow.

In his mind, he shaped a concentrated sphere.

Tight

Controlled.

Pure.

Then slowly, he pulled it forth.

He guided it from his core, through his body until it reached his hands.

And he willed it to flow.

His hand rose steady.

The air around him stirred.

Divine energy gathered, responding to his will.

It spun and twisted, shaping itself as Lucien envisioned it.

He compressed it slowly and carefully.

His breathing slowed. His focus sharpened.

Any mistake and it would detonate in his hands.

That was the nature of fire magic.

Beautiful but volatile. Creation balanced on the edge of destruction.

And finally...

It appeared.

A sphere of fire ford. It hovered just above his outstretched hand.

The room lit up instantly, bathed in warm flickering light.

But sothing was different.

The fla wasn’t red.

It was... gold.

Fire born from Divine Energy.

Radiant.

Pure.

Unlike anything he’d ever seen.

Lucien stood speechless.

He was simply... srized.

Then his eyes lit up with childlike wonder.

A grin spread across his face.

He felt like a kid again... experiencing magic for the very first ti.

Lucien burst out of his room and dashed straight toward Sebas.

Sensing the urgency, Sebas opened the door just in ti.

"Sebas! Sebas! Listen! I can finally use magic! GAHAHA!"

Lucien’s eyes sparkled with excitent. His usual calm had vanished, replaced by childlike glee.

Even Sebas’s Poker Face cracked. He looked more thrilled than Lucien himself.

"Is that true, Young Lord?!" he asked, needing to hear it again.

"GAHAHA! Co outside. I’ll show you!"

Sebas didn’t hesitate.

"Let’s go to the plaza, Young Lord!" he said, already turning to lead the way.

Then unexpectedly, Sebas took off running... leaving Lucien behind.

It was completely unlike him.

Instead of heading straight to the plaza, he rushed excitedly from house to house, knocking on doors, calling out like a town crier.

This wasn’t the usual composed and stoic Sebas.

"Everyone, gather around! The Young Lord has awakened his magic! He’ll be demonstrating it at the plaza. Co witness this milestone!"

His voice rang with pride.

Excitent swept through the hos like wildfire. People poured out into the streets.

Eager.

Curious.

By the ti Lucien reached the plaza, he was already wondering where Sebas had gone... until he looked up and saw the crowd approaching.

Hundreds of people... and at the front, leading them like a proud herald... was Sebas.

The crowd stopped just a short distance away, forming a respectful semicircle around Lucien.

Sebas stepped forward then bowed.

"Young Lord, it is our honor to witness your magic awakening."

The crowd echoed him with voices full of admiration and anticipation.

Lucien felt a wave of embarrassnt.

He had only ant to show Sebas. He just couldn’t contain his excitent.

But now, thanks to Sebas, the entire subjects had gathered. All eyes were on him.

’So much for keeping it low-key.’

"Well... I guess I’ll have to put on a good show," he muttered with a small smile.

He didn’t back down.

Magic had always been his dream.

A lifelong wish.

And now that it was real, sharing it with people who mattered to him felt... right.

He rubbed his nose like a shy child trying to act cool.

Then he took a deep breath and focused.

The first ti had been difficult but now the process was smoother. The second ti around, it felt almost natural.

Especially with Perfect Calculation guiding him.

He made a few small adjustnts in his mind.

And then, in his palm....

It ford.

Fireball.

A sphere of golden fla blazed to life in his hand, casting a warm glow across the plaza. The light radiating from it wasn’t just bright.

It was comforting.

Almost divine.

Gasps echoed from the crowd.

Then without pause, Lucien conjured another.

A second golden fla flared to life in his other hand.

And then...

Lucien threw the fireball into the sky.

With Perfect Calculation, he asured out just the right amount of Divine Energy.

The volatile fla was wrapped in a thin and calm layer of controlled divine energy.

It holds the fireball together as it soared.

As it traveled higher, the thin layer gradually dissolved... revealing the raw, untad golden fire beneath.

And that’s when it happened.

The fire within ignited.

Boom.

The sky lit up in a brilliant explosion of golden fla.

Like fireworks from the heavens!

The crowd gasped then erupted into cheers.

mbers of the Spiritual Division dropped to their knees in reverent awe, hands clasped in prayer.

Clara was her usual...

And Sebas...

Sebas was silent.

His eyes shimred.

He had known Lucien since he was a boy. He had watched him dream, struggle and long for this mont more than anything.

Now that it had finally co true, he couldn’t stop the tears from quietly slipping down his cheeks.

He bowed his head and whispered under his breath. His voice was thick with emotion.

"Luke... Cienna... are you watching?"

Maxim who was watching from a distance, gasped in surprise once more.

What Lucien had just perford was nothing short of unbelievable.

The precision.

The elegance.

The sheer power behind the spell.

It wasn’t just magic.

It was art.

It felt... perfect.

The execution reminded him of how Perfect Calculation worked when he used it himself.

"My nephew," Maxim thought with a smile, "is really not simple."

anwhile, Lucien was having the ti of his life.

He could feel it. Perfect Calculation was the key. It made everything possible.

When the show finally ended, he gave a proud and theatrical bow.

The crowd responded with cheers and applause before gradually dispersing, still buzzing with excitent.

For many, it was the first ti seeing magic of that scale. Especially one so radiant and so beautiful.

As the plaza quieted down, Lucien summoned his SKILLPEDIA.

Curious, he searched for the skill he had borrowed.

After a bit of browsing, he finally found it.

His eyes widened.

"WHAT? FIVE STARS?!"
