Lucien sat within the chamber, surrounded by quiet.

Before him, the four elental won sat in ditation. Their presence ford a natural harmony that even the air seed reluctant to disturb.

He opened his eyes and let out a long breath.

The four won were still in ditation, but their auras had already told him enough.

Sixth Stage of the Celestial Realm.

All four of them.

Lucien lowered his gaze to his own hands.

He remained at the third Stage.

He sighed.

That was enough to disturb the rhythm of the chamber.

The four elental won opened their eyes almost at the sa ti and turned toward him.

Kaia tilted her head slightly. "Brother, you’re thinking loudly again."

Marie crossed her arms. "That expression usually ans trouble."

Sylra’s ears twitched once. "Is there... a problem?"

Marina watched him with soft concern. "What is troubling you, my prince?"

Lucien did not bother denying it.

"I’m stuck," he admitted simply. "Your laws are deep, but they’re... focused. Mine isn’t. Creation feels like... everything. And nothing I do seems enough to move it forward fast."

Lucien had hoped they might suggest sothing useful.

Kaia folded her arms. "Creation. That’s not a law. That’s a continent pretending to be one path."

Sylra nodded faintly. "Creation is too broad. It touches too many things."

Marie exhaled through her nose. "One law is already enough to ruin a person’s peace. You chose the one that tries to explain everything."

Lucien smiled weakly. "I’m aware."

He looked inward for a mont and felt the sapling again. It was still nourishing him but after he reached the Celestial Realm, the effect had beco too superficial.

"That’s the problem," he said. "I know things. I can shape things. I can combine, refine, manifest, erase, reconstruct. But ever since I entered the Celestial Realm, it has felt... insufficient."

He glanced at them again.

"I think I need to change the way I’m thinking. I’ve been trying to do this alone for too long. Maybe a fresh perspective will help."

That made them all quiet.

For once, none of them answered imdiately.

Then Marina rose.

She stood, walked toward him, and sat closer than before.

Then she took his hand.

Marie’s brows rose. Kaia’s eyes narrowed. Sylra’s ears gave a twitch.

Marina, however, looked very serious.

"My prince," she said softly, "I think I understand the problem."

Lucien turned to her, interested despite himself.

"Oh?"

She nodded.

"You understand how things are made," she said. "You understand structure, systems, laws, and outcos."

She leaned closer.

"But understanding is not the sa as experiencing."

That made every brow in the chamber rise.

Lucien stared at her.

That did sound profound.

Not enough experience with creation?

He thought imdiately of living systems, origins, growth, birth, ergence, dependency, ti, unfolding form. His mind moved quickly through philosophy, cosmology, and law structure.

Then Marina’s voice softened.

"Creation is not just forming sothing from nothing," she continued. "It is growth. It is change. It is connection. It is... continuation."

Lucien’s eyes sharpened.

That was sothing.

He leaned forward slightly.

"Go on."

Marina tilted her head. Her eyes glinted with mischief now.

"Oh, I will."

The others imdiately felt sothing was about to go wrong.

And they were right.

Marina leaned closer, her lips near his ear as her voice dropped just enough to tease—

"Why not experience creation with ?"

Lucien froze.

Sothing in her tone had shifted.

Sothing dangerous.

He looked at her more carefully.

She was still smiling, but now there was a spark in her eyes that had absolutely nothing to do with philosophy and everything to do with causing him trouble.

Lucien felt the warning too late.

Marina’s lips ca near his ear.

"Why not create a little life with ?" she whispered. One of her hands drifted lightly to her belly. "That seems like a very direct way to study Creation."

Silence.

Then three simultaneous sounds echoed through the chamber.

Smack. Smack. Smack.

Marie slapped her own face.

Kaia slapped her forehead.

Sylra covered her eyes with one hand.

Lucien, to his credit, did not move.

Mostly because his body had forgotten how.

His heart pounded harder than it had when he faced the Primordial Incarnations.

It was not as though the thought had never crossed his mind before.

Marina’s point, outrageous as it was, still touched sothing real. Creation, at its most fundantal level, was life giving rise to life.

He understood the theory. He understood the process. He even understood the principles behind it.

And yet, without ever experiencing that side of creation for himself, part of him felt as though he was standing outside a door and claiming to know the room beyond.

Lucien looked at Marina.

Their eyes t, and sothing in her expression changed. The playful girl from earlier seed to lt away, leaving behind soone softer, warr, and far more dangerous.

Then she leaned in close as her lips brushed near his ear.

"My prince," her voice was low and teasing, "I may not be an Eternal yet, but I am eternally wet. After all, I am water itself. Gentle, yielding, and very good at nurturing life. If you truly wish to understand creation... I can help."

A shiver ran down Lucien’s spine.

Her breath tickled his ear. Her nearness alone was enough to make his thoughts stumble.

For once, he had nothing to say.

Because beneath the teasing, Marina was not entirely wrong.

Even his skill:Breed stirred in response. It offered instinctive paths and possibilities he very much did not want to examine too closely in that mont.

His heart only beat harder.

Marie made a strangled sound behind them.

Kaia closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose.

Sylra muttered, "Unbelievable."

Just as Lucien opened his mouth to say sohting, the other three finally reached the end of their tolerance.

They moved as one.

Bonk.

Marina yelped.

"Ow!"

The seductress vanished instantly.

In her place was a girl rubbing her head with both hands and staring at the others in offended disbelief.

"There was no need for violence!"

Marie pointed at her. "There was every need for violence."

Kaia’s expression remained flat. "You turned a serious discussion into a breeding proposal."

Marina straightened indignantly. "That was a serious proposal."

Sylra just sighed.

Lucien turned his head slightly to the side.

Because if he looked directly at Marina, he would start laughing.

Kaia crossed her arms. "If Santa Claus were here, he would know exactly what to call you."

Marie grinned at once.

"Hoe. Hoe. Hoe."

Sylra pressed her lips together and nodded solemnly.

Marina looked scandalized.

Then she turned toward Lucien with eyes that instantly grew watery.

"My prince," she said, voice trembling with betrayal, "they are attacking for pursuing truth."

Lucien finally looked at her.

That was his mistake.

She was pouting.

Genuinely pouting.

The contrast between the shaless temptress from monts ago and the now aggrieved girl was so absurd that he had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop himself from laughing too soon.

It did not help.

The other three had already had enough.

Marie grabbed one arm.

Kaia grabbed the other.

Sylra stood behind and pushed with calm inevitability.

Marina imdiately began struggling.

"No. Wait. My prince, save ."

Lucien said nothing.

Mostly because he was enjoying this too much.

They dragged her toward the door.

Marina looked back over her shoulder in full theatrical despair.

"My prince, they are jealous!"

Marie hit her lightly again on the head.

"Ow!"

Lucien chuckled at last.

That made Marina brighten instantly.

Then, just before she vanished out the door, she twisted one final ti and shouted:

"My prince, I will leave my door open. Absolutely co visit later. Let us practice Creation properly."

Another sharp sound followed.

"Ugwiii!"

This ti Lucien could no longer hold back.

He laughed until the chamber’s heavy elental stillness broke completely and the atmosphere turned warm and helpless and alive.

The others were still dragging Marina away.

Marina was still protesting loudly.

And Lucien—

He suddenly felt sothing settle inside him.

The laughter faded slowly.

He looked toward the doorway where Marina had disappeared and then lowered his gaze.

Creation.

He had been chasing it in the wrong shape.

Not entirely wrong.

But too narrowly.

He had been trying to approach Creation as a law of grand structure, total understanding, and universal architecture. He had been staring at it from above, trying to grasp its whole shape before allowing himself to move more deeply within it.

But that was arrogance.

Or at least incompleteness.

Creation was not only the making of worlds. Not only the arrangent of laws. Not only the birth of stars, systems, life, and grand design.

It was also this.

A room. People. Warmth. Teasing. Attachnt. The ease with which life reached for more life. The natural way affection moved toward continuation.

Creation was not rely solemn.

It was playful. It was intimate. It was imperfect and imdiate and alive enough to laugh.

He closed his eyes.

The sapling inside him stirred.

And at last he understood the piece he had been missing.

Creation was not the act of making sothing flawless.

It was the act of allowing sothing to begin.

That was why so much of existence looked unfinished at first. That was why life ca small before it ca strong. That was why worlds began in fragnts, roots, cells, sparks, seeds, and foolish tenderness.

Creation did not wait for perfection.

It trusted growth.

Lucien’s breathing slowed.

His thoughts aligned.

The law within him responded imdiately like a quiet gate opening.

The pressure in his body changed all at once.

Lucien opened his eyes.

He smiled.

"Fourth Stage."

The chamber answered him with a soft pulse.

And sowhere outside, dragged down a corridor and still loudly protesting injustice, Marina sneezed once and then suddenly grinned for no reason at all.

Perhaps, in her own way, she understood.

Or perhaps she was already planning how to persuade Lucien again.
