Faust raised an eyebrow at the ability description. So essentially if he wanted to get the most out of this ability he had to drain the Attributes before he killed them...
It would be a bit dangerous with the Slis but definitely worth it. Especially now that his Constitution was nearing one hundred points. He was essentially ten tis harder to kill than he had been only a couple hours ago.
While he searched for more Slis he checked Nirvana’s other abilities.

Oh... he really wanted this one. It essentially allowed soone to fight without caring about injuries. Pain was such a tedious thing. He never really minded it, but it always broke the spirit and dulled the mind.
He would have to explore what the system counted as a defeat first. Like Faust competition with Nirvana to see who got to level 5 first. If he won that would he get her Schema? Or did it have to be a more direct confrontation?
That was a question for later. Right now he found so slis and got close to the one farthest from the pack.
Gently, he stroked its gelatinous blue body, smiling excitedly. Ti for a test. He activated Attribute Drain without hesitation.
Energy flowed from the sli into him. It was hard to describe, but it felt like realism. He beca realer while the sli faded.

The Sli finally noticed the intrusion after three seconds, trembling with fear. It discharged its acid quickly, and fled.
Faust jumped back, but was slightly caught. Pain flared over his forearm. The sll of cooking skin filled the air as his flesh turned red and bubbled.
Faust jumped back hissing, but still smiling.
"It worked!"
The other slis sward the area he had just been in looking for the smoking flesh, but they didn’t stop at that, following him as the scent of the acid clung to his skin.
Faust’s smile faltered. "It’s not the easiest skill to use."
The slis weren’t letting up, and he could no longer get close to them without being attacked. The sll of the acid alerted them every ti.
While retreating he ran into so new Players hunting in the fields. Two boys and a girl.
They saw Faust running from the slis and started laughing.
"Bruh, are you serious." One of the boys shook his head
"They’re like rat blobs. What is bro running from?"
The girl gave him a pitying look. "Let’s save him."
So they attacked the slis. And died.
They didn’t seem to know about cores or the acid shot ability and had just assud Faust was a coward.
Well, he was thankful. Because the Slis left him and started eating the bodies of the three heroes.
I shouldn’t let people die.
He didn’t care much about earth, but he didn’t want to see it destroyed. He had a lot of good friends he had t from all around the world.
Keeping people alive ensured earth’s continuous existence if he died having so fun here.
After a minute of running, waiting and disappointnt, Faust decided to just kill the twenty five he needed.

At level three his speed and attack power was far greater than the simple slis, and he could even shrug off the acid attacks just to get his strike and retreat.
By the ti it was done, Faust was buck naked and very happy.
He pulled out the Basic Clothing the system had given him at the beginning of this crazy situation and put them on.
It was a pair of white trousers and a simple black shirt that clung to his well-built body. Not too dieval but boring and simple.
His shoes were also cooked, the leather lted onto his skin and he had to rip them off painfully.
And the system had given him a pair of black sandals as part of his kit....

His injuries were healed by Blood Regeneration, but he could definitely feel the blood loss. He shook his head once more at his clothes, slightly pale from blood loss, then said,
"Whatever. System, show my rewards."

100 Slis killed.
That Junior Genocider title was really starting to be relevant. The system should give him a title like that.
He didn’t forget the new reward.
Skill stones were a bit too hard to get if he had to kill a hundred slis. But he expected the Loot table would improve against stronger enemies.
He consud the Sli essence without much fan fair, now used to the long sessions of swallowing the grey orbs.

The tank he was becoming didn’t suit the image he had of himself in mind, but it was welcod. The longer he stayed alive the more fun he could have.
He ignored the skill book and just pulled out the second Sli Tether, probing the system for what could be done with it.

These kinds of things were usually up to chance in gas or at least very costly. But in the Origin Trials, Item Fusion seed free, just not guaranteed.
Losing this and then having to kill another one hundred slis sounds like hell.
And he could hear more and more people in the tall grasses, see them moving around him. This hunting ground was starting to be outdated. He had to move on soon.
Faust bit the inside of his lips, considering whether or not to try. Go big or go ho. There was no true victory without risk.
"Do it," Faust said calmly.
The two wristbands glowed a brilliant white and were connected by a thread.
