Rizwell felt a thin sheen of sweat gathered along his spine despite the steady composure he tried to maintain.

He chose not to question Maris any further.

There was sothing deeply unsettling about the certainty in her tone, about the way she spoke of the Eternal Sovereign as if referring to a force that observed everything without effort.

Rizwell had long learned to weigh words carefully, to probe and test intentions of parties he was getting involved with, yet in this mont he restrained himself.

A strange instinct told him that if he continued pressing, Delta might begin unveiling fragnts of his own past that he would rather keep buried.

There were scars, decisions, and compromises that only a few knew about, and he had no desire to hear them spoken aloud in his own office.

He adjusted his posture and regained his composure.

"For now, Jaden will teach her how to read and write daily; he will be visiting our mansion daily for this purpose," Maris told Rizwell, who nodded in acceptance.

Jaden had been wasting away his days in his own chambers after what happened; having so real work to do given by the organization he had joined might at least divert his attention.

"Also find a mansion in the core of the city for us to live in, and also put so guards on patrol."

Rizwell nodded again, having no problem with that; he had enough properties in the capital to spare one for them.

His earlier skepticism regarding the venture had not vanished entirely, but it no longer dominated his thoughts.

The truth was simple. The mont he had taken the Oath of Eternity, he had bound himself and the House of Draconia to the Eternal Sovereign’s organization.

There was no undoing it now. He could not step back even if he wished to. All he could do now was move forward and attempt to shape events wisely.

He did not believe the Sovereign would intentionally sabotage his house. Over decades of ruling, Rizwell had cultivated the ability to assess character through actions rather than promises.

From what he had observed so far, the Sovereign’s plans were calculated but not reckless. The business proposal carried risks, certainly, yet it also carried opportunity.

With that thought, he continued talking for a few more minutes before the discussion concluded shortly afterward.

A few days later at the World Academy

William sat at his usual place under the tree in the domain of infinity, cultivating spiritual energy; a few days had passed since he had started his usual routine.

Right now he was very close to a breakthrough; well, he had been feeling that for quite a few days, so he didn’t know exactly how to describe the feeling differently, but he felt he might cross the rank, taking in Sara’s cultivation feedback.

"extract the 100x feedback"

[Understood]

He calculated that Sara must have spent at least a day’s worth of ti on cultivation in the past week, and after 100x amplification, that would give him 100 days’ worth of feedback.

The system complied, and he felt a wave of spiritual energy rushing towards his spiritual energy core.

He suddenly felt heat rising through his chest, and a wave of pressure suddenly erupted from his core and spread into the surroundings.

William smiled; this was not the first ti, and these waves indicated that he was breaking through to the next rank.

Although this phenonon only happened with spiritual energy and not when he cultivated mana.

The waves got emitted for a few seconds before dying out, and William felt refreshed; he stood up to stretch his muscles and crack his bones.

"Aishh, I am going to reward myself today and stop right here," William spoke with a smile.

[Only 1.5 hours remain outside to end today’s session anyway.]

William smiled and nodded; he left the domain imdiately and appeared in his room.

Thinking of what to do, he left his room and decided to walk around the gardened areas in peace while he checked on Maris.

As he walked out of the dorm building, the system’s voice sounded in his mind.

[Maris did her work; Emily has been bonded with the Mark of Servant.]

Then the system started reporting about the whole sequence of actions she carried out, making William nod in satisfaction.

Yes, the system monitored every single action of every individual connected through the marks, and the revelation ca as a surprise to even William.

"Oi, stop peeking at my Sera and Master!!!"

[I can only peek at the lower tier marks like slave, servant and at most comrades mark, the destiny and soulmate marks have their own wills and they only activate when the person is in danger or needs you for so reason, i cannot simply peek at them just because i want to]

"Hmph!! then it’s fine, but don’t peek at other won too, ok? That’s creepy; let them have so privacy."

[Fucker, I am not horny like you; I am not interested in peeking at won like you think. I am a system, for fuck’s sake, and rather than telling all this to , you should talk about privacy to your master.]

"Why?? What did she do???" Williams’s brows raised.

[Nothing, I don’t want to get ground between you two.]

"Why are you so weird sotis?" William shook his head and decided to ignore the system for now. "Let talk to Maris."

The system complied, and a ntal link was established between him and Maris.

William started asking about the mission and how it went even though he knew it. Maris described the whole mission to the point and accurately, just like the system.

Now that things had gotten his way, and Maris responded with an all-positive response, this made William happy.

"My lord, the duke has been asking about when the elders from the organization will arrive to talk about business. Also, Emily needs to et you so she can feel more included."

William paused and looked at the sky, starting to think about what ti he should give. A few minutes later he spoke.

"Tell the duke that it might take six months, although that ti is also tentative. Stay there for a few days and help Emily settle sowhere in the inner circle of the capital. Don’t stay in the duke’s mansion for too long; we don’t want the Draconis duchess to start bugging Emily."

"Already done, my lord," she replied.

William nodded. "Make sure to stay with her until I visit the capital. Teach her cultivation, and soon I will bestow so spells on her. Make sure she is educated properly in these months; tell her that I will et her soon."

Maris herself hadn’t been literate when she had joined William, but for the ti she spent in the infinite domain, which was the equivalent of a few decades, she completed basic reading, writing, and other aspects of basic education according to the standards of the Aris continent, along with cultivation.

Sotis she was taught by his other slaves, Barash and Benson.

While sotis even Sunchaser ca to teach her stuff, and the biggest source of her lectures was Amorphous.

Even if that demon was lecherous and lustful, he eventually got bored inside the demonic pit and offered to teach a thing or two to Maris.

William had no reason to worry about him misbehaving since the mark of slavery ensured his conduct was proper.

Now he was assured that Maris could give basic education to Emily properly.

With that, he said goodbye and closed the ntal link before sighing; he wanted to start his business as soon as possible, but he had no way to leave the academy grounds.

Right now he was being guarded like a precious gem.

Even while sitting on the bench in a garden, he could feel the hidden presences of several warriors creating a defensive formation around him at all tis.

The stealth of these n was so solid that normal students and professors didn’t even realize that more than fifty celestial army officers were guarding William from the shadows, always moving whenever and wherever he moved.

They always found several strategic points from where they could keep an eye on him and move swiftly to defend him in case of any attack.

The only reason why William hadn’t retaliated about this arrangent was due to these officers maintaining a respectful distance and not entering his dorm, at the least.

And being guarded so carefully was an advantage in his opinion, not a disadvantage.

A few days ago he had heard that a special officer was commissioned to guard him, but later William realized that piece of news was fake and that the academy had deliberately spread it.

In reality there were almost fifty officers with high ranks of cultivation guarding him at all tis.

"Tsk, they have started lying outright, trying to create deception." William clicked his tongue as he thought.
