"It was probably so ancient one-use artifact or array they uncovered in so forgotten ruins; otherwise, they don’t possess the capability to challenge us."

A cruel smirk spread across Amon’s monstrous face.

"And besides... only we know Rudra’s current whereabouts. So we don’t need to bother going to Aris to deal with his pup."

Several Demon Lords smiled darkly at that statent.

"Eventually his little pup will co searching for us," Amon continued. "Until then, we may as well enjoy ourselves by manipulating events from the shadows with our pawns."

His glowing eyes shifted toward Kylark.

"I’m particularly interested in seeing what entertainnt your pawns bring to the table, Kylark."

Kylark nodded slowly, listening to Amon before he spoke with his ever-rigid expression.

"My half-blood daughter is proving more useful than I originally expected. Mating with a human did not prove to be a waste," he muttered while rubbing his chin with one of his seven fingers. "Though I have to say, she is one of a kind hybrid; people around her aren’t even able to sense her demonic nature."

While Amon and Kylark were having their own chitchat, Belial’s expression darkened, seeing their nonchalance.

He looked at Amon.

"Are we still ignoring that flying creature that slaughtered your generals?" he demanded.

Amon waved one massive hand dismissively.

"If that mutated beast had truly possessed the ability to eliminate all my generals effortlessly, I would consider it dangerous. But at best, it only stands around the level of a Primarch since it wasn’t able to kill the ones in the godhood stage cultivation."

His voice carried complete confidence as if he could not be more right about the situation.

"And now that Victor is dead, very few beings remain capable of threatening us."

The hall fell quieter.

"What creature are you guys talking about??" Clayman asked from across the other corner of the room.

Amon downplayed it: "Nothing looks like a weird bird with its ass on its mouth and a very long neck that looks like a tail—a funny appearance, to be honest."

Clayman heard that, and his brows furrowed while he rubbed his chin as if trying to rember sothing, but after a lot of thinking, he could not recall anything similar; it was just that he had a familiar feeling, but he couldn’t understand why.

Suddenly, his thoughts were diverted as Amon declared coldly.

"The era where insects from the surface managed to rival our strength is long over."

"Our cultivations have already surpassed the threshold they describe as godhood."

A dark grin spread across his face. "The only remaining annoyance is the Heavenly Will governing that continent."

Unlike the others, Amon spoke with absolute certainty, as though the future itself already belonged to them.

anwhile, Clayman lightly tapped the armrest of his throne before asking casually, "What about the other continents? How are the wars progressing there?"

Amon’s expression finally turned grim. "The demon lords there are having a bit of a ti, since natives of other lands are not as apathetic as those on Aris."

The amusent within the chamber diminished instantly.

"I heard rumors," Amon continued slowly, "that a ten-year-old child recently managed to kill Bellatrix."

The expression on every Demon Lord’s face turned stiff at this revelation; getting killed was one thing, but getting killed by a ten-year-old was completely absurd.

Clayman’s breathing grew noticeably heavier as he felt a bad premonition from this news.

"Has she erged from the embryo yet? I would like to talk to her," he asked sharply.

Amon shook his head.

"No."

Then he spoke the words that caused the entire hall to fall silent.

"She suffered true death."

For the first ti since the gathering began, genuine tension appeared among the Demon Lords. No one spoke for several seconds.

Though none of them wished to admit it aloud, many suddenly felt relieved that the isolation barrier surrounding the Aris Continent also extended partially into the Abyss itself, sealing away their territories from the greater war between the Abyss and the scarred realm.

Finally, Kylark broke the silence.

"What was the na of the youngling who killed her?" he asked in his rough voice.

Amon slowly looked toward him before answering.

"It was a human nad Elijah Hurricane."

back to the broadcasting...

"Now," Anastasia declared as her amplified voice resonated across every corner of Aris, "I invite the two generals of the Celestial Army to confirm the authenticity of my claims and speak of their own experiences serving under the Primarchs so that no one may dismiss this truth as fabrication."

She stepped aside gracefully, allowing Marcus and Andrea to move forward.

General Marcus was the first to approach the center of the platform.

The mont he appeared before the broadcast crystal, the atmosphere among the soldiers beca tense; Marcus was a role model for them. Unlike politicians or nobles, Marcus was a figure whose credibility carried imnse weight, as he always respected his word and looked after his subordinates. He was one of the leading generals of the Celestial Army and acted as a shield protecting Aris from demonic invasion for countless years.

His testimony alone could shake the world.

Marcus stood upright with military discipline before speaking in a solemn tone.

"I am General Marcus of the Celestial Army," he announced. "And I confirm the claims made by Empress Anastasia Solaris as complete truth."

The reaction throughout Aris was imdiate. Shock spread through cities, noble courts, military headquarters, and common households alike.

Before anyone could fully process the first revelation, Marcus continued.

"Last month, during the attack on the World Academy, Primarch Victor personally ordered us not to launch retaliatory operations against Demon Lord Belial."

The words exploded like thunder. Everywhere, people stared at their broadcast crystals in disbelief.

A Primarch obstructing retaliation against a Demon Lord?

The re accusation sounded absurd. Yet since it was coming directly from a general of the Celestial Army, panic and confusion spread rapidly as countless listeners struggled to reconcile the revelation with everything they had believed until now.

Before the shock could settle, Andrea stepped forward.

Unlike Marcus, whose expression remained stern and restrained, Andrea allowed visible emotion to surface across her face.

"During our battle against Demon Lord Belial," she said slowly, "I ca close to killing him."

Silence spread once more as all the attention was diverted to her.

"I tore open his abdon with my own hands. I ripped his organs apart from his body. Yet even in those final monts..." Her voice darkened, "...he laughed."

Her words sent chills through many listeners. Andrea’s eyes narrowed with fury.

"He mocked because he knew his death was incomplete. He knew he would return to the Abyss and not die in actuality."

Her voice trembled slightly with rage.

"When I demanded answers, Belial revealed the truth to . He said we had all been manipulated from the beginning. He said the so-called protectors of Aris, called primarchs, had deliberately hidden the true thod of killing demon lords."

Andrea lowered her head briefly as though struggling to suppress her anger.

"Even after believing I had defeated him, he promised that he would return one day to massacre innocent lives again. He laughed while speaking of the deaths of the professors and soldiers who sacrificed themselves protecting the World Academy."

At this point, her performance had beco flawless.

Her expression and voice influenced millions listening across Aris.

"I was horrified by this revelation," she continued. "And when I confronted the Primarchs regarding the truth, my reward was suspension from my position as an Astral Warden... along with threats against my life."

Her heavy tone struck a deep chord in the hearts of people, especially among families who had lost their loved ones fighting against demons.

Across the continent, the soldiers of the Celestial Army clenched their fists.

Many had sacrificed comrades, siblings, parents, and children, believing they were fighting an endless war against monsters that refused to die.

Only now were they being told that the truth was far from that.
