William stepped out of Anastasia’s study and walked through the quiet palace corridors before eventually stopping in front of a familiar chamber.
After a brief pause, he raised his hand and knocked on the door.
A few seconds later, the door slowly opened. On the other side stood Tamasya.
The mont her black obsidian-like pupils t his, she imdiately puffed her cheeks into an annoyed pout and turned away to face the wall.
William blinked once before smiling instinctively. Her hairstyle was different today.
The soft curls framing her face gave her an unusually delicate appearance that contrasted with the irritation visible in her expression.
"You look stunning," William said honestly.
Instead of softening her mood, however, his complint earned him a cold death stare.
"What are you here for?" Tamasya asked sternly.
William frowned. For so reason, every woman around him seed unusually hostile today.
First his mother, and now Tamasya.
Still, he decided not to overthink it.
"I want you to co with ," he said with a smile. Tamasya narrowed her eyes.
"Oh? So now you’re planning to throw out of the palace too?"
William’s expression stiffened slightly as realization finally dawned on him. She was still angry about last night.
Biting his lip awkwardly, William stepped closer and tried to gently unfold her crossed arms. Tamasya imdiately resisted him and turned her face away in protest.
The reaction only made William chuckle softly.
[Host, you should seriously learn how to reconcile with your woman after an argunt. This life skill will always be useful no matter which won you are with.]
William’s expression twitched slightly.
"Oh? Then do you have any brilliant suggestions?"
[Rule number one: in a relationship, it is always the man’s fault. You should apologize first.]

"But I was only giving her a taste of her own dicine! She seduced and then dumped my ass, and then I did the sa. Why can’t we be even now?"

William’s face froze completely.
For several seconds, he simply stood there in silent disbelief.

William reluctantly sighed.
Even though his pride resisted strongly, he still stepped closer toward Tamasya, who now had her back facing him completely.
Slowly, he reached out and twirled a strand of her soft, curled hair around his finger. A fresh floral scent drifted into his nose, instantly calming his mind.
anwhile, Tamasya stiffened slightly the mont she sensed him standing so close behind her.
His fingers lightly playing with her hair and nudging the skin of her back caused her heartbeat to accelerate involuntarily.
A faint blush quietly spread across her cheeks.
William gently wrapped one arm around her waist and slowly pulled her closer toward him until their bodies were nearly pressed together.
"I’m sorry," he whispered near her ear.
The warmth of his breath against her skin almost made her shiver.
Tamasya instinctively tried to pull away from him, but William’s grip around her waist tightened slightly before he smoothly turned her around to face him.
William lowered his face as if preparing to kiss her.
However, before their lips could et, Tamasya quickly pressed her palm against his mouth.
"I haven’t accepted your apology yet," she said while trying her best to maintain the last traces of anger she could muster.
Unfortunately for her, the stubborn expression only made her look even cuter.
William could not help laughing quietly.
Instead of kissing her, he pinched her cheeks gently.
Tamasya imdiately beca flustered and tried struggling free from his embrace, but William stubbornly refused to let go.
"Argh... let go!" she shouted while lightly smacking his back with small, frustrated slaps.
William exaggerated a pained expression.
"Ouch. That hurts, you know."
The very next mont, both of them vanished from the room and appeared inside the Infinite Domain. William wanted to tell her sothing important, and to make sure of privacy, he brought her here.
*chomp*
A sudden sharp pain shot through William’s arm. Tamasya had bitten him without warning.
William instinctively loosened his hold slightly.
The mont she felt the opening, Tamasya imdiately escaped from his arms and ran away barefoot with hurried steps.
William’s face twitched.
"If she actually wants to leave," he muttered, "she can leave the domain whenever she wants. Why is she running like she saw a ghost?"
[Host, this is a test.]
William blinked.
[A woman pushing you away does not always an she wants you to leave. She wants to see whether you will continue coming after her regardless.]
William stared blankly.
[She is testing your limits. She wants reassurance that you will not give up on her just because she becos difficult.]
William’s brows slowly furrowed.
"Wait a second..."
He narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"Orion... are you secretly a woman?"
[Ugh. No, of course not.]
"Then how do you sound like you understand everything about won?!"
William nearly shouted in frustration.
[Well... to be honest, I rely overheard her earlier conversation with Shadow.]
Another wave of embarrassnt hit William instantly.
"She talked about ?"
His expression imdiately beca curious.
"What did she say?"
[No. It is improper for a gentleman to pry into private conversations between ladies.]
William gritted his teeth.
"That’s complete bullshit, Orion! You literally did exactly that!"
[Well, I am technically unisex. No gender can bind . Hahaha!!!!]
William pressed a hand against his forehead as though trying to suppress an incoming headache.
"Forget it," he muttered. "I just need to reconcile with her properly."
The next instant, his figure disappeared.
Far away inside another region of the Infinite Domain, several slaves were busily working around a gigantic machine-like structure.
The Infinite Chocolate Vending Machine, whose size and chanics had now been transford by William, worked relentlessly. Its size had expanded enormously, and multiple outlets now extended from its body, allowing several workers to operate simultaneously.
The slaves moved efficiently around the machine while preparing hundreds of chocolate bars before carefully sealing them inside clean wrappers.
This would beco the very first comrcial batch of chocolates introduced under the Infinite Guild.
William quietly approached one of the workstations.
"Take a break," he told the worker there.
The slave hurriedly bowed before stepping aside.
William rolled up his sleeves and took over the station himself.
If there was one thing he knew about Tamasya, it was that chocolate was her ultimate comfort food.
If words alone failed, then he would simply overwhelm her with sweets.
anwhile, far away at the opposite side of the Infinite Domain, Tamasya sat beneath the orange maple tree.
The enormous glowing leaves above swayed gently in the artificial breeze while she nervously looked around.
A small bead of sweat ford near her brow.
"Did I overdo it?" she muttered worriedly. "Did he actually leave?"
[No. He did not leave.]
A calm, chanical female voice echoed inside her mind.
Tamasya imdiately looked up.
"Then where is he?"
[He is busy.]
"What?"
Her expression instantly changed.
"But he was just with a few monts ago! Did he forget about already?"
[No. He did not.]
[Orion instructed him to make up for his mistakes properly. He is currently doing exactly that.]
Tamasya blinked in surprise.
"You did what?"
Her eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"What exactly were the two of you talking about?"
The female voice answered imdiately.
[It is improper for ladies to pry into the conversations of n.]
Tamasya’s face instantly twitched.
"Bullshit, Virgo! Didn’t you literally do the sa thing?!"

Tamasya fell silent for several seconds before finally covering her face in helpless frustration.
