The guards flinched in terror before they quickly scrambled back down the stairs.
Breathing heavily with his chest violently heaving, Tianyu glared murderously at the masked man, his fingers digging painfully into Gu Fan’s forearm as he aggressively demanded, "Who the hell are you, and how do you know about my condition?!"
"Young Master, Song Tianyu," Gu Fan smirked behind his cloth mask, not even trying to pull his trapped arm away or fight back, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"You are such an incredibly handso guy, Tianyu, so how can you possibly bear to deal with such an ugly, disgusting cultivation backlash ruining your perfect skin?" Gu Fan raised his other hand and affectionately placed it over Song Tianyu’s gripping knuckles.
As he spoke, Gu Fan gently patted Song Tianyu’s hand as if they were old lovers, completely throwing the noble, straight-laced young master entirely off balance.
"You...." Tianyu flinched at the unexpected and highly inappropriate physical contact, pulling his hand away from Gu Fan’s arm, taking a step back as his face flushed with a mixture of extre ange and deep, humiliating panic.
"Who sent you here to blackmail ?!" Tianyu asked desperately, his voice shaking as his perfect, righteous Dao heart visibly crumbled under Gu Fan’s psychological torture, "What do you actually want from ?!"
"No one sent here to blackmail you, Young Master Tianyu," Gu Fan chuckled, "Because I am nothing but a wandering well-wisher who happens to know exactly what you are going through and how to fix your rotting ridians before your impure beast blood permanently turns you into a disgusting monster."
Song Tianyu stared at the masked man with wide, heavily bloodshot eyes as his ragged breathing echoed loudly in the quiet weapon hall.
