A surge of cheers erupted, especially from the section clad in pure black—the Black Mambas' loyal fans—who had been waiting eagerly for their team's mont to shine.
Tristan, Marco, Kyle, Gab, and Felix stood near the sideline, jerseys crisp and eyes burning with determination. The weight of expectation was heavy but familiar.
Coach Gutierrez placed a steady hand on Tristan's shoulder.
"Rember what we talked about. Ball control, communication, and composure under pressure. Play smart, play together."
Tristan nodded firmly. "We're ready, Coach."

Spotting Marco cutting toward the basket, Tristan threads a sharp bounce pass that slices between two defenders. Marco catches on the move and finishes with a quick floater over the outstretched hand of the White Rabbits' power forward.

However, Javier picks up the loose ball and finds his sharpshooter, Leo Santos, open beyond the arc. Santos shoots.

8:15 — Black Mambas set up a half-court offense. Tristan surveys. He sets a screen for Marco from Kyle, who flashes toward the basket, drawing defenders. Tristan dives through a pick-and-roll with Marco, slipping past the scrambling defense to lob a perfect alley-oop to Felix near the rim.
Felix slams it ho, and the bench erupts.

Tristan exhales deeply. "They're relentless."
