Why would Dan Hanjie suddenly send her his assistant, and his right-hand man, Yao, at that? He did not even ntion this on the call…
“I’ll wait for Miss Qin outside the Yongsheng Technology building.”
“Alright, thank you for your help,” Qin Youxuan blinked her eyes, and politely agreed with Yao about their eting location, before hanging up.
She thought for a long ti but still was puzzled…
On the other end.
“Mr. Jie, Miss Qin has left the Qin Group and she’s on her way.” Yao imdiately called Dan Hanjie after he hung up.
“Hmm.” Only a monosyllabic response was heard from the other end before the call was abruptly ended.
Yao stared at the darkened screen and recalled the pleasant tone of his boss. That was a lot more cheerful compared to when he had heard that Miss Qin was eting Jin Chenye, and then suddenly being sent out to rush her.
Yao exhaled and straightened his back, standing upright in front of the Yongsheng Technology building, waiting as per instructions for the late Qin Youxuan.
“I’m sorry, there was a traffic jam, did you wait long?” Qin Youxuan hurriedly ran out of the car and apologized before Yao could speak.
“No problem,” responded Yao, expressionless.
“I didn’t know Dan Hanjie would suddenly ask you to co here. He didn’t even ntion it on the phone…” Qin Youxuan noticed Yao’s unhappy face, and explained hesitantly.
After all, she did arrive late despite him being here to help her.
“Miss Qin, I just arrived not long ago too. It’s really alright.” Yao suddenly interrupted Qin Youxuan with a corner of his mouth curling up to seem friendlier.
He too, did not know that he would be dispatched temporarily. If it weren’t for the sudden news that Jin Chenye was waiting for Miss Qin at Qin Group, there wouldn’t be a need for him to be there today at all.
“Miss Qin,” Yao thought for a mont before calling out to Qin Youxuan, who was heading inside.
“Hmm?”
“If possible, please keep your distance from Mr. Jin.”
“Huh?” Qin Youxuan montarily froze, unable to understand.
“Jin Chenye.”
“?” Qin Youxuan blinked, looking sowhat startled at Yao. After a long while, she realized he had nothing else to say except advising her to keep her distance from Jin Chenye.
And he didn’t even bother to explain why.
Is it because cold-hearted masters have cold-hearted assistants?!
“It’s getting late, let’s go in.” Yao ignored the confusion in Qin Youxuan’s eyes and picked up his briefcase, walking past her and entering the Yongsheng Technology’s headquarters ahead of her.
Qin Youxuan didn’t find the chance to ask Yao about his advice, even after they finished discussing business and left together.
She had to rush back to the Qin Group to prepare for the press conference and the shareholders’ eting the next day.
By the ti Qin Youxuan returned back to the Qin family mansion after finishing her work, she was so tired that she couldn’t even move a finger. She randomly grabbed so pajamas and headed straight to the bathroom.
