Mrs. Mo smiled gently, gazing at the doubtful expression on Jiang Haoyan’s face, and curled her lips.

Mrs. Mo’s words ended, her gaze sweeping over the door behind which Jing Yan was hiding.

Jing Yan had not yet recovered from her shock, when she heard Mrs. Mo’s voice, articulating every word clearly.
“Yaya is pregnant with my Mo Family’s first grandchild.”

Jing Yan’s body shook, she lost her balance and directly bumped into the door, making a noise neither too loud nor too soft.
Now, there was no use trying to hide.
She braced herself and walked out of the room.

Jing Yan had not expected praise from Mrs. Mo, and was slightly taken aback, her nervousness lessened.
She gave a bow to Mrs. Mo and seeing Jiang Haoyan’s face soften, she thought to quickly return to her room to continue eavesdropping.
Just as she was about to turn around, Mrs. Mo spoke up again.
“Don’t be so formal calling Mrs. Mo, it’s too impersonal. I have t your parents, and we are quite familiar, so it would not be inappropriate for you to call Aunt Mo.”
“Aunt Mo.”
Jing Yan didn’t know what to make of it, but since Mrs. Mo had suggested it, she followed suit. It was always better to err on the side of courtesy.
Sure enough, Mrs. Mo’s smile grew even brighter at the sound of “Aunt Mo.”
She motioned for Jing Yan to co closer.
“Co, co, co here to your aunt, let take a good look at you. Oh my, you are such a charming and beautiful young lady, it’s no wonder that Commander Jiang with his high standards has taken a fancy to you, choosing you to be Mr. Jiang Jinchen’s bride.”
Mrs. Mo scrutinized Jing Yan, incessantly lavishing praise.
