Even knowing it was dancing with wolves, she could only grit her teeth and stay.
After hanging up the phone, Ye Mingi realized it was almost four in the morning.
Her stomach was growling with hunger, but upon seeing Yu Xiuzhun sitting opposite her, she instantly lost her appetite.
"Sit down and finish your food," Yu Xiuzhun said indifferently, as if he knew what she was thinking.
Taking a spoon himself, he elegantly sipped his soup, his movents so graceful like a gentleman that it was impossible to see any trace of ruffian-like behavior.
His handso face was captivating with a mischievous charm.
Just by sitting there, doing nothing, he was enough to make many won flock to him.
But in Ye Mingi’s eyes, he was nothing less than a demonic presence.
If she had a knife in her hand at that mont, she really would have wanted to die with him.
Thinking this, Ye Mingi’s gaze fell on the steak in front of her.
There lay a knife and fork.
Ye Mingi’s eyes flickered slightly, and before the thoughts could fully form in her mind, Yu Xiuzhun glanced up at her.
He spoke in an extrely cold and composed voice.
"I’m not sure if this small knife can kill , but if you don’t succeed at once, I guarantee, you won’t get another chance. I only need one hand to break your neck."
"..."
Ye Mingi’s body shuddered, her beautiful eyes flickering with fear.
She was like a thief who had been caught before the theft, no longer daring to harbor any thoughts.
"Don’t want to eat your al, want sothing else?" Yu Xiuzhun glanced up at her again, his voice now carrying a warning.
In his place, everything was to be as he desired, that was the rule.
"I’m not hungry."
"Gurgle—"
Just as Ye Mingi spoke, her stomach embarrassingly growled.
Not once, it even growled two or three tis, making her, thick-skinned as she was, blush.
Thinking of Yu Xiuzhun sitting opposite, her blushing cheeks quickly turned pale.
She spoke sowhat fearfully, "I have no appetite, I don’t want to eat."
"Is it the food I prepared that you are not satisfied with, or is it you are dissatisfied with, hmm?" Yu Xiuzhun cut a piece of steak and put it into his mouth, chewing slowly.
Lifting his eyebrow, he looked at her.
"..."
Of course, it was him she utterly detested.
But such words, Ye Mingi wouldn’t dare say them now.
She could only lower her head silently fidgeting with her fingers, wondering when Yu Xiuzhun would let her leave.
"If you don’t want to eat, then starve," Yu Xiuzhun stated coldly, glancing at her before elegantly slicing another piece of steak.
He picked up a glass of red wine by his side and lightly sipped.
His eyes slightly squinted, he appeared imnsely enjoyful.
For Ye Mingi, sitting in front of him, starving, there was nothing more cruel than this.
Enduring the hunger, she also had to endure watching the man opposite enjoying his al.
Her fingers twitched, wanted to reach for the spoon, but thinking that it was all prepared by Yu Xiuzhun, she lost her appetite again.
Anything even remotely associated with Yu Xiuzhun was detestable to her.
As if knowing what she was thinking, Yu Xiuzhun did not force her.
His expressions while eating beca more and more pleasant, carrying a bit of a smirk, constantly watching Ye Mingi.
As if he wanted to see how long she could endure.
But in fact, he realized he had underestimated this woman’s endurance.
Until he finished the steak on his plate, had a bowl of soup, and a glass of wine, Ye Mingi showed no intention of eating.
