The little one in her arms seed to sense his mother’s low spirits and stretched out his tiny arms, clutching her clothes tightly.
His little tongue licked his lips, and he made so sounds.
Qin Youxuan looked down at her son in her arms, feeling an indefinable pain in her heart.
If she wanted to leave, she had to give up her son.

Qin Youxuan took a deep breath, pushing back the tears, handed the child to the butler, and walked away alone.

The butler looked at Qin Youxuan’s departing back, calling out anxiously.

"Where is he?"
Qin Youxuan glanced over the notebook filled with key points, and upon seeing the man’s familiar handwriting, she asked another question.
"He’s in his office. Recently, due to the old CEO’s passing, there’s a backlog of cases. Mr. Jin asked the secretary departnt to categorize all the cases by importance and prioritize them accordingly. He’s probably still busy right now."
When the secretary ntioned Jin Chenye, there was a different kind of spark in her eyes.
A complicated emotion surfaced in Qin Youxuan’s heart.
These past few days, all she thought about was how to leave Dan Hanjie, and she had neglected the responsibilities she bore. Without Jin Chenye, her recklessness would have thrown the corporation into chaos.
"Leave the docunts here. Also, please tell Mr. Jin that I would like to invite him for lunch, and ask him to spare so ti for ," Qin Youxuan thought for a mont and offered a faint smile.
Once the secretary had left, she beca engrossed in her work.
She needed to learn how to manage the corporation independently in the shortest ti possible, so Jin Chenye could be relieved of the burden sooner.
She didn’t want to be a drag on him for too long.
