Capítulo 1782: Chapter 1782: A Look of Being srized
Ye Mingi raised her wine glass, wobbling as she stood up from her chair.
The red wine in the glass swayed gently with her movents, forming a graceful arc that highlighted her flushed cheeks.
“You’re drunk.”
Jin Chenye’s gentle gaze flickered slightly. Just as he was about to get up from his chair, he saw Ye Mingi sway and quickly reached out to steady her.
“Are you okay?”
The wine in her hand nearly spilled, so Jin Chenye simply took it, placed it on the table, and then helped her back to the chair, gently sitting her down.
“Wait for a mont. I’ll settle the bill and then take you ho. No more drinking.”
Jin Chenye looked at her naive little face, smiled softly, and ruffled her hair affectionately.
“No, I haven’t had enough to drink yet. Didn’t you say you’d co out to help relax, senior? I haven’t had my fill of fun yet; how can we leave so soon?” Ye Mingi, slightly tipsy, was getting more stubborn. She reached out to grab the wine glass.
Brought it to her lips and took a big gulp, even pushed Jin Chenye lightly, “Senior, sit down quickly. Let’s drink together. We’re not going ho until we’re drunk today!”
“…”
Jin Chenye paused slightly, looking down at her charming face, his gaze flickering a little.
He glanced at the wine on the table; with such a little capacity, she wanted to drink till they drop?
Sighing inwardly, Jin Chenye nonetheless went along with her wishes and sat back down. Seeing Ye Mingi drink happily, he also picked up a glass and drank with her, cup after cup.
By the end, they had drunk two bottles of wine, though most of it was consud by Jin Chenye.
Ye Mingi, seeing him drinking, just dumbly propped her chin up with both hands, watching him quietly from across the table.
She looked completely entranced.
Whenever Jin Chenye stopped, she’d imdiately snap out of her daze and urge him to keep drinking.
Her childish antics showed a hint of innocence, her drunkenness authentically displayed.
“We’re all done. I’ll take you ho,” Jin Chenye said, putting down the glass, his gentle eyes showing a hint of intoxication, gesturing to the waiter to settle the bill.
After paying, he pulled Ye Mingi, who still wanted to watch him drink, to her feet, dragging her out of the restaurant.
It was the first ti he’d gone into an Italian restaurant and ended up drinking as though in a bar, consuming so much wine.
The alcohol wasn’t strong, but it had a strong aftereffect.
Jin Chenye didn’t drive himself but hired a driver, stuffing Ye Mingi into the backseat before getting in himself.
Ye Mingi was truly drunk.
As soon as they were out of the restaurant, she started humming.
Once in the car, she even knelt on the backseat and began to bawl out tunes.
Jin Chenye, worried she might fall, reached out to pull her, and she ended up falling into his arms, clinging to his neck tightly.
“Mingi, you’re going to strangle , loosen up a bit,” Jin Chenye said, tugging at her arm, helplessly looking at Ye Mingi who was clinging to him like a koala.
“No, I’m gonna fall…” Ye Mingi mumbled stubbornly, holding Jin Chenye’s neck even tighter, afraid that if she let go, she’d fall face down.
Hearing Jin Chenye’s chiding, she sniffled pitifully.
With a face that said ‘I just want a hug and you’re not giving .’
“…”
Jin Chenye felt a tightness in his chest, looking at Ye Mingi nestled in his arms, his senses overwheld by her subtle fragrance.
The person in front of him seed particularly silly, with a trace of childishness.
Making it impossible to resist.
Seeing that she wouldn’t let go, Jin Chenye simply held her tighter in his arms.
Once he secured her position, he spoke, “I’m holding you, you won’t fall, Mingi, loosen your grip.”
