“Mingi, can you still hear ?” Jin Chenye quickly got into the car holding Ye Mingi, instructing his assistant to head to the hospital.
Ye Mingi was staring blankly, not speaking, with blood oozing from her nose and lips, indicating she was seriously injured.
She could hear what Jin Chenye was saying but couldn’t respond, only able to stare at him.
Her small hand clutched at his jacket.
Her mind was blank for what felt like a long ti.
Her head felt heavy, as if she might lose consciousness at any mont, and her chest felt so tight she wanted to vomit.
“Just hang in there a bit longer, we’re almost at the hospital.” Jin Chenye, seeing her discomfort, suddenly shouted, “Drive faster, why is it so slow!”
“Mr. Jin, we’re already speeding, any faster and we might get stopped.” The assistant replied respectfully, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead.
“Did you hear that? We’re already going as fast as we can, we’ll be at the hospital soon, don’t worry, you’ll be fine.” Jin Chenye reassured her, wiping the blood from Ye Mingi’s face with a handkerchief.
After almost ten minutes, Ye Mingi slowly regained consciousness and murmured, “I’m…fine…”
“Yes, you’re fine, that’s good.” Jin Chenye held her tightly, rarely looking so panicked, making Ye Mingi’s heart tighten.
Her small hand tugged at his jacket again, repeating, “Senior, I really… am okay…”
“I know you’ll be fine, just don’t talk if you’re feeling bad, we’ll be at the hospital soon.”

Though Ye Mingi said she was fine, in truth, her head hurt a lot.
When Yu Xiuzhun hit her, for a mont, she thought she was going to die.
By the ti the car stopped at the hospital entrance, Ye Mingi couldn’t hold on any longer and lost consciousness.
“Quick, inform the doctor to prepare for an examination!” Jin Chenye pushed open the car door, rushing in with Ye Mingi in his arms.
The dical staff, already notified by phone earlier, were waiting there, and they imdiately took over from Jin Chenye when he appeared.
“She suffered a heavy blow to the head, her nose and mouth were bleeding, she regained consciousness briefly but quickly fainted again…” Jin Chenye briefly explained the situation to the doctor.
“Mr. Jin, we will examine Miss Ye now, please wait outside for a mont,” the doctor nodded and imdiately instructed the staff to wheel Ye Mingi into the examination room.
The hallway emptied instantly.
Only Jin Chenye and the assistant preparing to complete the formalities remained.
“Mr. Jin, should we inform Mrs. Ye and Miss Qin about Miss Ye’s accident?” The assistant, about to handle the admission procedures, stopped a few steps away and turned back to ask.
“No need for now, let’s wait until Mingi wakes up. Telling them now would just make more people worry.”
