Capítulo 1889: Chapter 1889: Want to Strangle Him Every Minute
“Can you play the piano?” Yu Xiuzhun pinched her astonished cheek, leaning in to whisper.
“No.” Ye Mingi shook her head without thinking.
Just as she was about to get off the piano, Yu Xiuzhun held her shoulder down.
“I rember your piano resu says you’re proficient at level eight.” Yu Xiuzhun’s tone was calm, enunciating each word.
His gaze at Ye Mingi carried a hint of teasing.
“…”
He knew all along, and still pretended to ask her?
This man truly makes one want to strangle him at a mont’s notice!
“It’s been too long since I played, can’t I just forget?” Ye Mingi pushed his hand away, stepped off the piano, and onto the beach, where her high heels quickly sank into the sand.
After hesitating for just a second, she reached down to remove her shoes, carrying them in her hand.
Turning around, facing the sea, and taking a deep breath.
The azure sea surface was brushed by a sea breeze, bringing a delightful comfort, making her heart feel open and vast.
Seeing her playful deanor, Yu Xiuzhun uncharacteristically didn’t lose his temper despite her refusal.
His tall figure advanced, reaching out to embrace her waist from behind.
“Do you like the seaside?”
“If you weren’t here, I’d like it even more.” Ye Mingi shoved him, failing to budge him, puffing her cheeks in anger.
“What exactly do you want?”
“To help you wash away mories. In such a beautiful place, I want you to rember only the tis with .” Yu Xiuzhun narrowed his wicked eyes, rembering how Jin Chenye had brought her to the seaside before, his gaze suddenly turning sinister.
“Dream on!”
Ye Mingi turned to glare at him and wanted to leave.
To rember him, and have the seaside she loves most turn into a nightmare, she’d rather see a ghost than listen to him.
Ye Mingi had just taken a few steps when Yu Xiuzhun dragged her back to the piano, forcefully pressing her down onto the chair.
Yu Xiuzhun raised the piano lid, “Play a song for .”
“I said I forgot.”
“Is that so, forgot how to play? Then let’s do sothing else…” Yu Xiuzhun’s eyes darkened, his lips opening slowly.
His handso face moved closer to Ye Mingi’s.
“What do you want to do?” Ye Mingi’s body stiffened, instinctively retreating towards the edge.
“We haven’t tried it on a piano before.” Yu Xiuzhun’s thin lips curved, enunciating each word deliberately.
“You’re an asshole!”
“I can be even worse; play or not, it’s your choice.”
“…”
Ye Mingi gritted her teeth and sat back in front of the piano.
As she raised her hands, her mind went blank, having no idea what to play.
Who gets forced to play the piano like this? The beautiful seaside view was ruined by her tension.
She couldn’t recall anything.
Yu Xiuzhun, without her noticing, sat beside her, his fingers lightly touching the keys, a string of very romantic notes flowed effortlessly from his fingertips.
“Lovers” was a piece Ye Mingi really loved.
It’s a piece that portrays two good friends, bewildered by love as they face the imminent change in their relationship, filled with anticipation, fear, and joy intertwined with longing.
Compared to others, the protagonists of the story have an extra layer of confusion and concern as their friendship transitions to love.
The prelude is very light, depicting two people interacting naturally in a comfortable state.
The middle undergoes significant changes, and the difficulty of the piece increases with the introduction of romantic and friendly collisions, ultimately ending in a sweet progression…
Yu Xiuzhun started excellently, and Ye Mingi unconsciously followed his technique, forgetting her pettiness.
