Capítulo 1907: Chapter 1907: Anyone Would Have Saved Them
Really afraid Yu Xiuzhun might forcibly make her drink another bowl of soup. If he doesn’t get stuffed to death, Ye Mingi will end up stuffing herself to death.
Finally managed to get through the al, and just when Ye Mingi was about to slip away, Yu Xiuzhun noticed her.
“I’m going back to my room to apply dicine.”
Ye Mingi, feeling anxious, casually made up an excuse.

Ye Mingi hesitated, instinctively reaching up to touch her face.
The concussion didn’t cause major effects, but the bruise on her left cheek hadn’t faded yet.
The mark was much lighter but still very noticeable.
“Actually, it’s much better now, it doesn’t hurt anymore.” Ye Mingi, unsure why, suddenly explained.
Turning around, prepared to return to her room, she was unexpectedly picked up by Yu Xiuzhun.
He strode into the bedroom.
“Where’s the anti-swelling ointnt?” Yu Xiuzhun placed her on the sofa, speaking indifferently.
“…in the drawer.” Ye Mingi paused, pointing to the dressing table.
Seeing Yu Xiuzhun wasn’t angry, she breathed a sigh of relief.
Yu Xiuzhun found the ointnt in the drawer, stepped to her side, and Ye Mingi instantly beca tense.
“I can do it myself.”
“Don’t move.” Yu Xiuzhun held her hand in place, unscrewing the bottle and using his fingertip to get a bit of ointnt, gently applying it to Ye Mingi’s face.
His movents were skillful and gentle.
His fingertips road her cheek back and forth, carrying a cool sensation from the ointnt, making the atmosphere sowhat strange.
Ye Mingi wanted to back away, raised her head to glance at him, t his focused gaze, and froze.
In Yu Xiuzhun’s eyes there was nothing but gentleness as he applied the dicine for her.
Ye Mingi pressed her lips together, not moving.
Only when he withdrew his hand and capped the bottle.
“Still hurt?” Yu Xiuzhun cradled her cheeks, lowering his gaze to steadily watch her.
“It hurt a lot when it was hit, but now it doesn’t hurt unless the bruise is pressed… Ah!” Ye Mingi hadn’t finished speaking when Yu Xiuzhun suddenly pressed hard on her cheek, causing her to cry out in pain.
“What are you doing!”
Ye Mingi leapt from the sofa, slapped his hand away, and glared fiercely at him.
Yu Xiuzhun grabbed her wrist, pulling Ye Mingi in front of him.
“Rember the pain well, next ti you want to block a punch for another man, think about your own little life first. If I hit you any harder that day, you’d have lost your life!”
Whenever Yu Xiuzhun thought of how she risked her life for Jin Chenye, he couldn’t help but boil with anger.
He almost wished he could strangle her to death.
“Senior was fighting with you to protect . How could I just stand by and watch? Even if it were soone else, I’d save them, okay? Clearly, you’re the one who started it, yet you act justified. Aren’t you being too much?!”
Ye Mingi covered her face, shouted indignantly.
Her face had finally started to heal, now with his pinch, it would likely swell again.
This man just couldn’t stand to see her well; he was deliberately making her suffer.
“Would you save soone else too?” Yu Xiuzhun’s gaze flickered, and he suddenly spoke.
Never imagining she would rush out to block a punch not because the person was Jin Chenye.
“Of course I would save them. I’d rather be the one hurt than let soone else get injured for protecting . Soone as selfish as you would never understand. I don’t want to talk to you, move aside!”
Ye Mingi pushed him away, turning to leave.
