When the sound of the waves reached her ears, Ye Mingi thought she was imagining it.
Blinking her big eyes, she looked out the car window and found that Yu Xiuzhun had really brought her to the pier.
The azure sea, with a gust of sea breeze blowing past, stirred up waves several ters high along the shoreline.
There were quite a few ships and speedboats along the coast.
As soon as Yu Xiuzhun’s car arrived, soone greeted them imdiately, respectfully opening the car door.
“Mr. Yu.”
Yu Xiuzhun got out of the car, circling to the other side, reaching out his hand to Ye Mingi.
He walked her to the seashore, a long wooden pier that seed to connect to the edge of the sky.
Suddenly, Ye Mingi wanted to take off her shoes and feel the wood beneath her bare feet, undoubtedly comfortable.
“Do you like it here?”
Yu Xiuzhun abruptly wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, his breath magnetic.
“It’s beautiful here.”
Ye Mingi looked up and gazed out.
A blue sea and sky, a gentle sea breeze.
The sea breeze stirred up transparent waves, reflecting the blue of the sky.
In the distant view, seagulls were skimming the sea surface…
“There’s sothing even better to see.” Yu Xiuzhun lifted her up, striding towards the end of the pier.
“Mr. Yu, the speedboat is ready.”
An assistant waited respectfully and reported.
“A speedboat?” Ye Mingi was slightly amazed.
Did he actually have the assistant prepare such a thing?
Before Ye Mingi could gather her thoughts, Yu Xiuzhun was already leading her onto the speedboat.
Not allowing anyone else to accompany them, Yu Xiuzhun took charge himself, darting towards the distant sea.
Yu Xiuzhun loved racing, loved extre speed.
In his hands, the speedboat was fast like an arrow released from a bowstring.
Ye Mingi forgot to be scared, fixing her gaze on the waves raised by the speedboat, watching in wonder as the coastline drifted farther away.
It wasn’t until Yu Xiuzhun stopped the speedboat in a calm seascape.
“It’s so quiet here,” Ye Mingi said, watching Yu Xiuzhun leave the driver’s seat, unbuckling her seatbelt, and following him onto the deck.
