The secretary hurriedly pushed the door open and entered, looking alard as she spoke.
“What car?” Ye Mingi was suddenly stunned, a hint of confusion flashing across her delicate face, as she elegantly rose from her seat and walked to the window.
Her gaze fell outside the window, onto the street in front of the Ye Corporation Building.
A dozen black luxury cars were neatly lined up, parked on the roadside.
The car doors were shut tight, with only the windows open.
Ye Mingi was positioned a bit far off, unable to see who was sitting inside the cars, only noticing that they were all dressed in black, resembling bodyguards.
But who goes out with so many bodyguards?
This display was too grand.
Ye Mingi’s eyes stopped at the car in the very center, her eyes tense.
Her heart inexplicably lost its rhythm.
It was a modified sports car, its design akin to a racing car, very flashy.

She tossed the phone into her carrying bag, picked up her bag and headed for the door.
“Miss, are you avoiding Mr. Yu? This is the Ye Corporation after all.” The secretary’s puzzled voice suddenly sounded from behind.

Ye Mingi felt as if struck by lightning, her body stiffening, unable to move her steps.

“Mr. Yu, Miss is not here… her office is empty…” The secretary’s anxious voice ca from outside the door, along with the sounds of hurried footsteps.
Ye Mingi furrowed her brow, closed the file, and stood up quickly.
As she was about to reach for the door, the office door was kicked open from outside.
Yu Xiuzhun’s cold and stern figure stood three ters ahead of her, his thin lips curled as he glanced coldly at the secretary.
“Her office is empty, then who is this in front of , a ghost?”
“…”
The secretary was so intimidated by his glare that she couldn’t lift her head, glancing at Ye Mingi inside the office, too nervous to speak.
