Dan Hanjie didn’t leave the whole night until dawn.
Afraid that Ye Mingi might feel unwell and no one would notice.
When the sky began to lighten, Yu Xiuzhun finally extinguished his cigarette. Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly rembered sothing and turned back to clean up the cigarette butts on the grass, taking them with him.
Having to sneak around just to see his own woman was probably the most pathetic thing Yu Xiuzhun had ever done.
By the ti he reached the car, his face was dark.
“Mr. Yu, you’re finally out.” The assistant, who had waited outside the Ye Family Villa all night, sighed with relief upon seeing Yu Xiuzhun and quickly stepped forward.
“Why are you here?”
Yu Xiuzhun gave the assistant a sideways glance, not giving him a chance to speak, took a few big steps to get in the car, and started it, ready to leave.
“Mr. Yu, the court approval has co through. The auction will be held when the three months are up. The Dan Group’s shareholders have received the news and are holding a shareholders’ eting, and Dan Hanjie has already rushed over.”
The assistant nervously blocked the front of Yu Xiuzhun’s car. Seeing Yu Xiuzhun stop to listen, he let out a long sigh.
He paused for a mont and continued.
“With this news out, Yu Group’s shareholders also wish to hold a eting to discuss the group’s next plans, Mr. Yu. Everyone is waiting for you.”
The assistant glanced behind him, silently wiping away sweat.
Mr. Yu now only has Miss Ye on his mind and has almost forgotten his once ambitious plan to acquire the Dan Group.
“Whizz—”
As soon as the assistant finished speaking, Yu Xiuzhun’s sports car shot out like an arrow.
“Mr. Yu, the eting is very important, you must not miss it!”
The assistant ran a few steps after the car, suddenly realizing he had driven a car there.
He dashed back to his car to catch up with Yu Xiuzhun’s vehicle.
The two cars, one after the other, left the confines of the Ye Family Villa.

Inside the Ye Family Villa.

Ye Mingi suddenly woke up from the bed in shock and sat up abruptly, looking around in panic.
She reached out to clutch the quilt, pulling it over herself.
Did she just hear soone calling Yu Xiuzhun?
Where is Yu Xiuzhun?
Confirming that she was in her own room, Ye Mingi let out a long breath.
Was she crazy, actually dreaming that Yu Xiuzhun had co to the Ye family?
“Knock knock—”
“Miss, are you alright? Is everything okay?” The butler’s concerned voice sounded from outside the door.
Ye Mingi was slightly stunned, then got out of bed, drawing back the covers.
She walked to the door and opened it.
“I’m fine, just had a nightmare.” Ye Mingi patted her face. “Has my mom woken up?”
It was just barely daylight outside, not yet ti to get up.
She thought she heard soone calling “Mr. Yu,” thinking Yu Xiuzhun had co, which is why she was startled awake.
“Madam was busy until very late last night and only went to sleep just before dawn, so she hasn’t gotten up yet,” the butler responded respectfully.
“I see.”
Ye Mingi ran a hand through her hair, no longer feeling sleepy, and decided to change clothes and have breakfast in the dining room.
“What’s this?”
Ye Mingi looked at the dicinal cup the butler placed in front of her, wrinkling her nose at the sll of the dicine.
“Miss has forgotten, this is the dicinal herbs you brought back. It says to be taken once a day, best consud in the morning before breakfast.”
The butler reached out to remove the lid for Ye Mingi, and a rich aroma of herbs imdiately filled the dining room.
