“Knock knock”
“Who’s there?”
Who could it be knocking on her door so late at night?
Qin Youxuan was lying in bed, looking at her reports when she heard knocking sounds from outside. She quickly sat up.

“Am I hallucinating?” she thought. Qin Youxuan pinched herself, got up, and walked to the door, then opened it.
She was stunned to see Jin Lan standing outside.
“What are you doing knocking on my door so late at night?”

“You’re insane!”
Qin Youxuan was about to close the door when Jin Lan used her strength to stop it, reaching out and grabbing her by the throat.

Noticing sothing was off, Qin Youxuan yelled as loud as she could.
But her screams seed to rile Jin Lan up even more and made her movents increasingly aggressive.
The knife was almost at her eyes now. She was pushed against the railing at the top of the stairs, pinned down forcefully.
“Kill you…kill you…”
“Jin Lan, wake up! If you kill , you won’t survive either!” Qin Youxuan’s face was turning red, her body immobilized under Jin Lan’s weight. All she could do was to tightly grip her wrists.
The sharp knife was inching closer to her eyes, only a fraction away from piercing her eyeballs.
She tried to avoid it, but found herself unable to move.
If this kept up, she would surely be killed by this crazed woman!
Qin Youxuan managed to think quickly and didn’t hesitate to kick Jin Lan away.
“Ah!” Jin Lan was kicked on her knee which made her kneel.
The knife finally left Qin Youxuan’s face.
