His quietness this week was only because she was ill.

The bird’s nest Yu Xiuzhun sent over had already been given away by her, but she didn’t feel any lighter at heart.
She didn’t even want to leave the office, afraid she’d run into Yu Xiuzhun in the parking lot.
“Miss, you don’t look well. I poured you a cup of hot water.” The secretary entered the office with a cup of water and placed it on Ye Mingi’s table.
“I’m fine; you can leave work now.” Ye Mingi glanced at the secretary, got up from her chair, took the cup and had a sip before reaching for her bag.
She didn’t leave, so even the secretary couldn’t leave on ti.
Out of the office, Ye Mingi wandered around again and only entered the parking lot after the off-work ti had passed.
Not seeing Yu Xiuzhun, she quickly walked to her car.

Back in her room, she clearly felt sothing was wrong.
When she took off her shoes just now, it seed like many pairs were missing from the shoe cabinet…
Was it her illusion?
Ye Mingi turned back, reopened the shoe cabinet.
They were really gone.
A whole row of high heels in her shoe cabinet, all gone!
“Butler.”
Ye Mingi walked to the living room, just about to ask the butler, when sothing flashed in her mind, and she suddenly stopped.

The call was quickly answered.

“I’m not in the mood to have dinner with you, Yu Xiuzhun. Did you enter my house today?”
The servants in the villa wouldn’t dare touch her shoes.
And what a coincidence, Yu Xiuzhun just ntioned bringing back shoes today, and her high heels disappeared!

“You called just to ask if I ca to find you? If you want to see , I’ll co pick you up right now.”
“In your dreams! I just want to know, who the hell stole all my high heels?” Ye Mingi shouted angrily.
“Oh, what a pity, I don’t know the guy you’re talking about.” Yu Xiuzhun added slowly, “But I think high heels are troubleso; if they’re lost, they’re lost. They’re uncomfortable to wear, and since your health isn’t good, why make yourself suffer?”

She normally didn’t mind not wearing them, but for banquets and dinners, she couldn’t possibly pair a gown with flats, right?!
Unable to get answers, Ye Mingi hung up the phone directly.
Without alarming the butler, she quietly entered the surveillance room and got out today’s surveillance tapes.
After searching for a long ti, she finally saw a dark figure sneak into the Ye Family, not stealing anything but heading straight for the shoe cabinet, and taking all her high heels away!
