Chapter 224: Don’t Want to Sit with You

With discomfort creasing her brow, Qin Youxuan lazily reached out an arm to hook around his neck.
It only hit her after a while; he had woken her in the middle of the night for his own satisfaction.

As things began to calm down, Qin Youxuan suddenly bit on his shoulder, refusing to let go.
“Uncivilized.”
Dan Hanjie furrowed his brows, his large hand lifted her chin, pulling her closer to him.
Just as he was about to reach for her face, Qin Youxuan spun around, evading his grasp and darted out of his reach.
Her moves were swift and decisive.
“Wildcat,” Dan Hanjie huffed coldly.
“If you feel disgusted, then just let go!” retorted Qin Youxuan, turning her back on him.
Dan Hanjie smirked, said nothing, his arm circled her waist, drawing her back into his embrace.
He pressed her against his chest, burying his face in her neck, savoring her faint fragrance.
Enjoying a night of peaceful sleep.
Qin Youxuan, having almost forgotten her current status as a suspect, got out of bed, clumsily tidying up her ruffled hair.
Just as she got out of bed, her legs gave a shudder, and she almost fell onto the floor. She quickly reached out to support herself by the bedside table.
She took a deep breath, it took her a while to regain her balance.
Damn Dan Hanjie. Rumor has it that he’s indifferent to won, but where does he show it?
Surely, rumors aren’t to be believed.
Qin Youxuan stumbled her way into the bathroom, washed herself, then she pulled so clothes from the wardrobe to put on.
Only then did she leisurely left the room.
As she descended the stairs, she imdiately noticed Dan Hanjie, who was sitting in the dining room.
He was sitting before the table, wearing a rare pair of square-rimd glasses that mitigated his fierce aura and softened his features.
The black casual clothes he wore made him appear even more unknowable.
There was an enigmatic charm about this man.
At this mont, he was flipping through a newspaper.
Opening the first page, he quickly scanned through.
Everyone says that n are the best looking when they are focused. Dan Hanjie was already stunningly good-looking, but when he was reading the newspaper, he looked inexplicably suave.

Qin Youxuan took a closer look; it was a financial newspaper.
“Co over here,” said Dan Hanjie, folding his newspaper and stretching out his hand, only to have it slapped away by Qin Youxuan.
“I don’t want to sit with you,” said Qin Youxuan, who stomped off and sat down opposite him, staring at him with her large eyes.
Her clear cat eyes gave off an indomitable spirit.
She hadn’t forgotten last night’s incident.
“I have to go to the office today, you can rest at ho,” Dan Hanjie said, grinning wickedly. He had noticed her weird walking posture when she approached, and he naturally knew why she was upset.
His words were ant to be soothing, but Qin Youxuan was not mollified.
The old trick of slapping a face and then giving a sweet, who wouldn’t know that?
The housekeeper soon brought them breakfast.
Qin Youxuan, kept awake late last night, was famished and began wolfing down her breakfast.
While stuffing food into her mouth, she asked anxiously, “Dan Hanjie, you’re going to the office, what about the police station incident? ng Ziqi insists that I am the killer, will I be taken back again?”
“Yao will handle it.” Dan Hanjie paused, putting down his cutlery and looking up, “Don’t go out for the next few days. Once we find the key evidence, I’ll arrange a lawyer to exonerate you.”
