A shadow suddenly fell over her. Rui Hui was dazed for a few seconds before she slowly raised her head.

Diwu Zexuan’s tall and handso figure stood in front of her. His fitted suit outlined his strong physique, and with his hands casually in his pockets, he exuded an indescribable allure.

The dim light cast shadows along his profile, accentuating his high nose bridge.

He stood over her, looking down at Rui Hui who was sobbing like a weeping ss.

An unusual look flickered in his eyes, a hint of pain, as his gaze fell on the dical report at her feet.

Bending down, he picked it up, glanced at it quickly, his eyes tightening.

"You concealed taking folic acid from and secretly ca to the hospital, yet you never thought of telling you were pregnant?" Diwu Zexuan’s voice was light, as if discussing sothing trivial.

But for so reason, Rui Hui felt he was angry, rely suppressing his rage.

She stared at him blankly, not yet recovered from the sadness of being told her baby couldn’t be kept, and even forgot to snatch back the dical report from Diwu Zexuan’s hand, just sitting there in a daze.

When she finally ca to herself, the first thing out of her mouth was, "Diwu Zexuan, the doctor says the baby can’t be kept... Wah!"

Before Rui Hui finished her sentence, she burst into tears, her petite body flinging into Diwu Zexuan’s arms with such force it nearly knocked him over.

Her small hands clutched tightly at his shirt collar as she sobbed heart-wrenchingly.

Tears stread down like a child wronged finding solace, clinging desperately to Diwu Zexuan.

Not long after, Rui Hui, rembering sothing, started pounding on Diwu Zexuan’s chest.

"It’s all your fault, all your fault! Now the baby can’t be kept, are you satisfied?!"

"I’ll go have surgery right away to remove the child, and divorce you while I’m at it!"

"..."

Diwu Zexuan’s body stiffened, holding the agitated Rui Hui. Hearing her words, his brows slightly furrowed.

He turned to glance at the dical report in his hand.

There was nothing on it indicating anything was wrong with the baby.

"If I didn’t want a child, you would never have a chance to be pregnant in this lifeti." Diwu Zexuan’s lips opened indifferently, every word carrying an earth-shattering impact.

"What did you say?"

Rui Hui choked with sobs, her enchanting eyes blankly staring at him, as if unable to understand his words.

Diwu Zexuan picked her up from the floor and took her to the rest area, finding a chair to sit on.

He took a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe her tear-streaked face.

His actions were gentle and attentive, his gaze fleeting over her still-flat stomach, deepening.

She was pregnant, sothing he had anticipated, yet it still struck him with an indescribable impact.

An unspeakable thrill coursed through his veins.

Several tis, Diwu Zexuan nearly dropped the handkerchief, struggling to restrain his joy.

Recalling when he realized the folic acid she secretly took was for pregnant won, his heart felt like it had been struck by sothing.

In that instant, he thought through everything.

Imagining a small life growing inside her, a fatherly joy and sense of responsibility engulfed him in an instant.

Almost without thinking, he rushed back to the room like a madman.

But he was still a step too late; she had already left with her luggage, heading straight to the hospital without looking back.

When Diwu Zexuan received the news, he even worried she might not want the baby, racing over, forgetting how many red lights he ran along the way.

He had entirely forgotten that he was the one who initially insisted on not having children.
