The end-of-class bell rang joyfully.
"That’s all for today, kids. Please clear the books from your desks and rember the howork: submit your work by next painting class."
The young female teacher finished speaking, turned off the equipnt on the podium, and left the classroom.
Inside the classroom, only two life teachers remained, helping this group of three-year-olds pack their bags while waiting for their parents to pick them up.
Soon, there were fewer and fewer people left in the classroom; only a few remained.
The life teachers relaxedly moved to stand by the door.
In the corner, a well-behaved small figure sat quietly on a chair, resting her chin on her hands, with her brows furrowed tightly as if troubled by sothing.
Unlike the other children waiting for their parents, the books and drawing paper in front of her had not yet been packed away.
Looking at the "My Dad" howork the teacher just assigned, she fell into confusion.
"Yu Xin, stop looking at it. No matter how much you look, you won’t be able to draw it!" A chubby boy beside her picked his nose, walked over, and snatched her drawing paper, disdainfully shaking it in his hand.
"What the heck is this? Only limbs without a head. Does your dad not have a head?"

"I forgot, you don’t have a dad; of course, you wouldn’t know what your dad’s head looks like." The chubby boy laughed loudly, and the drawing paper in his hand wobbled with his movents, floating in front of little Yu Xin.
The few remaining children around also laughed along.
"Give my drawing back to . My mom says I have a dad!"
The mocking voices made little Yu Xin angrily raise her head.
Her big eyes blinked like stars glowing in the night sky.
A petite, upturned nose, a delicate little face that was charmingly lovable, and her small mouth pouted angrily, revealing dimples on her cheeks.
Her long hair was tied into a bun leaning to the left, adding a playful touch to her already petite fra.
At the mont, she was trying hard to reach out her arm, hoping to snatch back her drawing paper from the chubby boy.
She had spent a long ti drawing her dad’s body; it couldn’t be taken away...
"You have a dad, so why is he never the one to pick you up? You can’t even draw your dad’s face but dare to say you have a dad. You’re just an orphan!"
The chubby boy noticed Yu Xin wasn’t looking at him but at the drawing paper in his hand. He directly hid the paper behind him, out of her reach.
"I have a mom and dad, and a brother. I’m not an orphan!"
"Alright then, call them to pick you up. Why is it always the nanny who cos for you after school?"
"..."
"You have no dad at all. Even your mom doesn’t love you and leaves you with a nanny. You’re just a pitiful child without a dad or mom!" The chubby boy made a face and sneered.
"I’m not a pitiful child!" Yu Xin’s eyes reddened with grievance, looking at the drawing paper taken away by the chubby boy, sniffing her nose.
If the drawing paper got taken away, then her dad would be taken away too.
She hadn’t seen her dad yet; he couldn’t be snatched away...
Crystal tears hung on her eyelids, on the verge of falling, but little Yu Xin bit her lip and held back.
Her gaze was fixed firmly on the drawing paper, anxious to get it back.
"Give ii her drawing paper back!"
A childish yet commanding voice ca from the doorway as Dan Tingye and Jiang Nan walked into the classroom one after the other.
