"Are you taking ii out?" Su Yiru was taken aback by how readily Ye Mingi agreed.
"You told to go out for a walk. I’m following your advice and heading out now." Ye Mingi smiled faintly, walked over to the carpet, picked up ii, who was playing with a puzzle, and went to their room to change her clothes.
Staying ho listening to Su Yiru’s nagging was less appealing than taking her daughter out.
It seed like it had been a long ti since she last picked out clothes for ii; it was always Su Yiru who did the shopping.
Reflecting on this, she realized she hadn’t been a very responsible mother.
It had been three years without any news from Yu Xiuzhun, and she couldn’t live clinging to false hopes any longer. She needed to learn to care for those around her, especially her always well-behaved ii.
"Mom, where are we going?"

"Sorry, I forgot to ask you. How about we go out shopping now?" Ye Mingi quickly put her down and lovingly touched her delicate little face as she asked.
"Are we going to buy pretty dresses for ii?" The little girl tilted her head to ask, looking adorable and mischievous.
Thinking about getting a pretty dress, her large eyes sparkled instantly!
Seeing how happy she was, Ye Mingi couldn’t help but chuckle, "Yes, we are going to buy pretty dresses. You can show them to Tingye and Jiang Nan when you go to school."
Unexpectedly, ii pouted, "Only Tingye! Jiang Nan is the worst, always using chocolates to trick little girls into kissing him, sha on him!"
"Pfft—"
Ye Mingi almost choked, staring with disbelief at the very serious ii criticizing Jiang Nan. It took her a few seconds to realize she hadn’t imagined it.
Jiang Jinchen’s genes were undoubtedly too strong; Jiang Nan was already adept at charming girls in kindergarten, definitely outdoing his father!
If Ning Yanan knew, she would probably be furious!
"Miss, the car is ready."
The butler quickly entered, respectfully reminding her.
Seeing the arrangents, Su Yiru imdiately stood up from the sofa, afraid Ye Mingi was rely being perfunctory.
Ye Mingi picked ii up, "Say goodbye to Grandma, we’re off shopping."
"Goodbye, Grandma!"
ii smiled and waved her little hand, tossing two flying kisses to Su Yiru, making her beam with joy, and then followed Ye Mingi out of the Ye Family ho.
During the journey, ii curled up obediently in Ye Mingi’s arms, telling her about kindergarten.
The car stopped outside the mall, and the little girl had already fallen asleep in Ye Mingi’s arms.
"Find a convenient spot to park, let’s go to the café for a while first, and then wait for her to wake up." Ye Mingi carried her sweetly sleeping daughter into the mall’s café.
She let ii sleep against her, sipping her coffee leisurely.
