Diwu Zexuan pulled Rui Hui into his arms, placing a kiss on her lips. Before she could react, he slowly released her, turned to glare at Dan Hanjie, and then walked away.

Diwu Zexuan’s helicopter landed on the lawn outside the building. As soon as the cabin door opened, an assistant ca forward.
"Master, Mr. Yu is missing. The ward where he used to stay no longer has any trace of him."
Diwu Zexuan furrowed his brows, his lips tightly pressed together. He did not rush to speak but bypassed the assistant and went straight into the experintal building and into the elevator.
"Ding—"
The elevator stopped at the top floor. Diwu Zexuan strode out of the elevator and headed straight into Yu Xiuzhun’s forr sick ward.
He surveyed the room, his gaze finally landing on the empty large bed.
"When was he last seen?"
"Before ii’s parent-teacher eting, after Mr. Yu t with you, he left the experintal building, returned once, and we thought he wouldn’t leave again, so we didn’t keep a close watch. Who knew that when we ca to deliver dicine this morning, he was already gone..."
The assistant lowered his head in guilt, not daring to et Diwu Zexuan’s eyes.
Yu Xiuzhun’s body hadn’t recovered at all. None of them expected that after Diwu Zexuan had allowed him to attend the parent-teacher eting, Yu Xiuzhun would sche to escape instead of recuperating peacefully. Now, he disappeared without a trace.

Diwu Zexuan punched the side of the bed, casting a fierce glance at the assistant.
"You can’t even keep an eye on a living human being! Are your eyes blind?"

Diwu Zexuan’s face darkened as he turned, his hands at his sides clenched into fists, cracking audibly!
The assistant’s expression changed, and with a thud, he dropped to his knees. "I will imdiately send soone to investigate and will surely find his whereabouts in the shortest ti possible!"
"No need!"
Diwu Zexuan barked coldly, and a strange light flashed across his bewitching face.
Since Yu Xiuzhun had the capability to leave, it showed he wasn’t alone.
They had underestimated Yu Xiuzhun. After slumbering for three years, Diwu Zexuan thought even if he woke up, he wouldn’t be a threat for a while. Yet, in such a short period, he managed to rebuild his own power.
"Did Yu Xiuzhun leave alone, and did he take anything with him?" Diwu Zexuan walked to the window, reached to open the drawer next to it, and glanced inside.
"I checked. According to the monitors, Mr. Yu left alone, taking advantage of the staff shift change to directly take the top floor elevator to the first floor and left through the back door of the experintal building, not visiting any other places along the way."
The assistant paused before speaking again, "Master, along with Mr. Yu, the dicine he was taking has also disappeared."
