After a while, they both collapsed breathlessly onto the couch.
“Xuan, since we haven’t found any evidence pointing to your wicked stepmother, what are you planning to do now?” Ning Yanan sat up from the couch, looking at Qin Youxuan, who was still sprawled on it.
“I don’t know, I might just do as Mr. Tang suggested and stay with you for a few peaceful days to avoid the scandal. You, being a loyal and righteous woman, wouldn’t throw out, would you?” Qin Youxuan lifted a long leg to hook onto Ning Yanan’s small leg.
A coy smile played on her pretty face, her cat-like eyes exuding a natural kind of charm.
“Oh, you’re here to test my self-control, now. I won’t hold back then.” Ning Yanan giggled and pounced again…

Qin Youxuan hid in Ning Yanan’s house for two days. The paparazzi besieging her began to lose their enthusiasm when they found nothing newsworthy after a while. By the third day, very few people were still interested in her news.
Moreover, Qin Youxuan had been browsing the web during these two days and noticed that soone had dealt with the photos of her online.
Originally, graphic reports filled the internet, but now, only empty text was left, with not a single provocative photo remaining.

Upon hearing her voice, Qin Youxuan imdiately closed the webpage she had open and stood up from her chair.
She pointed towards the dining room, “I just went out for a bit and brought back so breakfast for you. Consider it the rent for these past two days. The paparazzi outside have dispersed, so I guess it’s ti for to go ho.”
Having given that person a comfortable couple of days, she felt wholly uneasy herself.
Qin Youxuan grabbed her bag, bent down to put on her shoes, flung her head back, and her wavy hair bounced out, exuding a bewitching charm.
“You’re sending away after just one al, even though I’ve accompanied you for two days’ sleep. Am I even worth less than this bed?” Ning Yanan scread dramatically, jumped off the bed in her pajamas, and held Qin Youxuan around her waist.
“I don’t care, if you dare say I’m not worth anything, I’ll make you sleep with again!”
Qin Youxuan could only laugh at her exaggerated reaction, standing still.
“Alright alright, stop laughing. Anyway, you can’t go back to the office now, so why go back to see your stepmother’s face? You’re better off staying here and being leisurely.” Ning Yanan let go of her and slid back onto the bed, speaking seriously.
“If I stay here forever, I fear I’ll never get the chance to go to the office for the rest of my life. Isn’t that what she wants? She wants gone? I’ll linger around just to spite her.. Let’s see who’s the unhappy one in the end!”
