Chapter 352: It wasn’t
The butler of Yujing Villa, with two rows of bodyguards, stood respectfully outside the main gate.
Dan Hanjie’s face was stern, without uttering a word, he strode past everyone, heading towards the direction of the living room.
The hand by his side clenched so tight it squeaked.

She tried to cry out for help, but couldn’t utter a word.

Just when she thought she was about to die, Dan Hanjie released his grip and threw her onto the sofa. She hit the sofa hard and bounced off onto the floor.
Bai Wei was in so much pain that she almost fainted.

She grabbed a throw cushion from the sofa and placed it protectively in front of her.

His voice was calm, betraying no emotion.
He clenched his fist and the cracking sound of his knuckles was chilling.
Witnessing his formidable grip, Bai Wei envisioned her own bones crushing under his palm and started to tremble uncontrollably.

Bai Wei’s eyes filled with fear, subconsciously aware of sothing, but too terrified to admit it.

Dan Hanjie sneered, each word from his lips trailed with frostiness, filled with coldness.
With a wave of his hand, Yao stepped forward.
He placed a laptop on the table in the living room. The screen displayed the surveillance footage of the villa – the day when Dan Hanjie fainted in his study.
The image of Bai Wei barging into the study and covertly downloading files from his desktop onto her phone was clear as day.
“Now I give you the chance to explain. If I hear one more lie, I will cut off your tongue.” Dan Hanjie’s voice beca incredibly calm, even his brutal temperant seed to have disappeared.
