Chapter 406: What to Do if You Don’t Like It?
Throughout the planned itinerary for the next day, Qin Youxuan, with her huge panda eyes, was in a daze, being held in his arms.
If it weren’t for Jiang Jinchen and Ning Yanan constantly bickering at her side, Qin Youxuan might have thought she was dreaming.
“Dan Hanjie, I can’t do it anymore, I’m really tired…”
As soon as night fell, Qin Youxuan climbed into bed early, claid a pri spot, and held on to her pillow as a defense against the approaching man.
“Yeah, let’s call it quits for today. Let’s rest early.” Dan Hanjie’s captivating eyes twinkled mischievously, while he nodded nonchalantly.
“Really? You’re not fooling ?” Qin Youxuan, who was all set to resist to the end, got stuck at his words, she looked up at him with puzzlent.
“Yeah.”
As he answered simply, Dan Hanjie laid down on the bed and reached out to her.
“You said you wouldn’t do anything today!” Qin Youxuan, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, imdiately raised her claws.
“I am just hugging you.” Dan Hanjie’s dark eyes were deep, his face stern. He stared at the woman guarding against him like one guards against a wolf, his brows furrowed in displeasure.
“I have a honeymoon gift for you.”
“What is it?”
Qin Youxuan, curious, blinked her eyes and reached out her hand, “Let check it out first, what if I don’t like it?”
“…”
Dan Hanjie’s eyes twinkled perilously. His neat, distinct long fingers slowly moved onto his shirt buttons, lazily unbuttoning himself while casually curving his thin lips, “What did you just say? I didn’t quite catch it.”
“…”
Qin Youxuan’s nerves twitched and she lunged forward to grab his hand that was undoing the buttons, hurriedly apologizing, “I like it! Whatever you give, I will love it! I will worship the gift like an ancestor, burn incense three tis daily to show my respect.”
“Good.”
Dan Hanjie withdrew his hand, gently patting her little head, “You don’t need to worship it, your current ancestor is Dan. You are married now, just listen and behave.”

“Go to sleep.” Dan Hanjie grabbed her hand and trapped Qin Youxuan in his arms. He turned his head, bit her neck, and gnawed for a while before closing his eyes, satisfied.
As they slumbered, huddled together, the slight fragrance of her body wafted into the air.
The sunshine showered over them, bringing a lazy warmth.
Rolled over instinctively, Qin Youxuan’s body crashed into the pillow, she didn’t open her eyes but her hand did feel for the spot next to her.

Qin Youxuan abruptly opened her eyes.
Indeed, nobody was there.
“Dan Hanjie…”
Qin Youxuan tentatively called out.
For the past few days, she’d been unable to wake up in the mornings. It was always him carrying her to brush her teeth, wash her face, change her clothes, then pack her into the car.
Why was he suddenly not there today?
Wearing her slippers, Qin Youxuan climbed out of bed to brush her teeth and wash her face in the bathroom. After tidying herself up, she wandered around the room.
He wasn’t in the bedroom, nor was he in the bathroom.
Qin Youxuan checked the dressing room and the study but still found no sign of him.
“Where did he go?”
Touching her little head, Qin Youxuan quickly ran downstairs, “Butler, have you seen Dan Hanjie?”
“Good morning, Miss Qin.”
The butler greeted her respectfully upon seeing her downstairs.
“Morning, where is Dan Hanjie?”
Chasing after the answer, Qin Youxuan took a quick scan around the living room. Not only was Dan Hanjie not there, even Jiang Jinchen and Ning Yanan who would usually wait in the living room for them were also missing.
The atmosphere in the entire villa that day conveyed two words— eerie.
She hoped they hadn’t all returned ho, leaving her alone on the deserted island to play the stay-at-ho kid?!
