The two best friends, having not seen each other for so long, were unwilling to part. Qin Youxuan took a quick glance at Hanjie. Seeing he had no objections, she hurriedly followed.
Soon, the table was set with soup bowls.
A hot steaming pot of thick soup was served.
“Drink the soup first; I’ll make a few more dishes. Whether you’ve had dinner or not, it can be a midnight snack,” Ning Yanan said with a smile and ducked back into the kitchen.
“I’ll help you.” Jiang Jinchen quickly stood up from the table and followed her in.

“I tried it; it’s rich but not greasy, really tasty. Let ladle you a bowl of soup; you try it,” Qin Youxuan said while pushing a bowl of soup toward Hanjie.
“If you like it, drink more.” Hanjie didn’t reach for her soup bowl but didn’t stop Qin Youxuan from drinking hers either.
