“Are you hungry? The butler has been up several tis to urge us for dinner,” Dan Hanjie fished her out of the blanket and held her in his embrace.
Qin Youxuan’s belly was pressed between them, and as soon as Dan Hanjie hugged her a bit tighter, he could imdiately feel the little one’s protest.
The little feet kicked vigorously, as if trying to push Dan Hanjie away.
“Don’t hug too tightly; he kicks whenever he’s uncomfortable,” Qin Youxuan lanted.
The child was only four months old, yet she didn’t know why he was so frequently active, each kick made her wince in pain.
“I’m the one who’s uncomfortable now; why can’t I even hug my own wife?” Dan Hanjie’s naughty eyes narrowed as he stared at Qin Youxuan’s mischievously moving belly.
He wished he could just pull the little troublemaker out and give him a good spanking.
“Don’t bully my son.”
Qin Youxuan reached out to protect her belly, climbing down from the bed.
Once standing on the floor and waving her arms a couple of tis, she felt as though she had co back to life.
Without waiting for Dan Hanjie to hold her, she headed towards the door on her own initiative.
Having slept for so long, she was indeed hungry.
“Madam, have a bowl of soup first to whet your appetite so that you can eat more later,” the butler eagerly attended to Qin Youxuan as soon as she entered the dining room.
As he placed the soup bowl in front of Qin Youxuan, he caught sight of Dan Hanjie walking in with a dark face.
Respectfully bowing his head, “Mr. Jie.”
Dan Hanjie didn’t even lift his gaze, his eyes fixated on Qin Youxuan’s belly, his dark pupils filled with displeasure as he walked straight to the dining table and pulled out a chair with a loud scrape.
Qin Youxuan had just sipped her soup when she was startled by him, glanced up at him, and ignored him.
She continued to drink her soup.
After finishing the soup, Qin Youxuan asked the butler to serve her rice, eating two bowls in succession before rubbing her increasingly round belly, smacking her lips in contentnt.
“I’m full now.”
Turning her head, she saw that Dan Hanjie had been watching her, not even having sipped his soup, let alone eaten his al.
“Qin Youxuan, could you possibly ignore any more?”

Qin Youxuan blinked innocently, her cat-like eyes wide, “Aren’t you right in front of , watching? How could I be ignoring you?”
“Now, apart from your son, is there room for anyone else in your eyes?” Dan Hanjie’s thin lips moved as he ground his teeth.
The question was laced with a hint of sourness.
“Who said that? I clearly only have room for you in my eyes, no son at all!”
The son was in her belly, not in her eyes.
Qin Youxuan silently added to herself.
She moved her chair closer to Dan Hanjie, propped her arms on the dining table, and leaned in with her small face, tilting her head to look at him.
“Now all I see is you, what would you like to eat? How about I feed you?”

Dan Hanjie huffed a cold laugh, slowly picked up a spoon, and took a sip of the soup.
Turning his head, he saw Qin Youxuan looking at him with a smile; his mood instantly improved as if he had won a victory. He glanced at her belly, his lips curling up, and began eating unhurriedly.
During what should have been one al, the two of them took the ti of two.
By the ti Dan Hanjie had finished eating, Qin Youxuan was almost dozing off on the dining table.
Noticing Dan Hanjie’s displeased frown, she imdiately defended herself, “You’ve beco more handso, and just looking at you a bit more makes one drunk.”
