Back at ho, Xu Mumu looked for the things she needed. They didn’t lack food at ho, and even if they did, she could think of a way. What she needed was a watch, and this sumr vacation was long enough that she thought she might save enough money with so effort.

"Sis, our teacher didn’t even give us any award certificates," Xu Minglei said enviously, looking at his sister.
"Once you go to junior or senior high, you’ll definitely receive award certificates," Xu Mumu said with a smile. The village school was rather poor, so it was unlikely to give things to students.
"I really want to go to junior high soon." With Xu Mumu’s words, the little one started looking forward to junior and senior high school, thinking that if his sister could get a scholarship, he certainly could too.

"Yeah, that way I can save a year’s tuition." Tiedan was speaking about a very real issue. No family in this village was particularly affluent, not even the village chief’s family had much extra money.
"I can’t wait to start school; once I do, I also want to skip a grade and be in the sa class as Second Brother." This was the wish of little Xu Jiaojiao.
"Don’t even think about it; no way I’m letting you catch up," Xu Minglei said fiercely as he glared at Xu Jiaojiao. The thought of being in the sa class with soone younger than him was too embarrassing; he didn’t want to be in the sa class as Xu Jiaojiao and the others.
"I will; I want to be as good as Big Sis."
The two kids played and argued on the side, making Xu Mumu laugh. This was quite nice; after all, they were siblings, no need to strain their relationship. Being on good terms ant anyone who needed help in the future would receive a hand.
Because of Xu Mumu’s words, the little ones were a bit more focused while studying together in the afternoon, which added pressure to Xu Wan, who had just joined them in learning.
Xu Mumu naturally noticed Xu Wan’s anxiety, but she didn’t ntion it. Xu Xue’s goal was to bring Xu Wan’s knowledge up to the fourth grade level in this period. Two months was indeed a bit tight.

The next day, when Xu Mumu went to sell mushrooms, she ran into Yin Yang again.
"Yin Zhiqing, heading to the county again?" Xu Mumu raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Just household things, going to take care of them." Xu Mumu didn’t say much about the mushrooms; these were a crucial source of inco for the little ones right now. If others found out about it, the amount they could gather would greatly decrease.
If they couldn’t earn money, the little ones would probably cry.
"I heard from Huo Qingze that the river outside the village has fish again. Why didn’t you take your siblings to catch fish?" Yin Yang tried to make conversation with Xu Mumu; this girl seed busy every day, and he wondered what she was up to.
"Are there many fish?" Xu Mumu asked curiously. It was very hot lately, and the water level had dropped quite a bit, so parents were more at ease when the kids played by the river.
"Mostly small fish. The ones I’ve seen being caught aren’t more than three fingers wide, but I have a fishnet. If you want to catch fish, I can lend it to you." Yin Yang offered with a gentle smile.
"Sure, we’ll go net fishing at the river later this afternoon," Xu Mumu agreed with a smile. Now that she had a bit of money, there was no shortage of household items, and she missed dried fish.
In those end-of-the-world days, life was so harsh that many delicious foods were not enjoyed, so in this life, she wanted to indulge a little.
She could cook the ordinary dishes, but for the more complicated ones, she lacked the patience. She wasn’t as talented as Xu Xue.
So, her goal was to make money in the future and eat her way through the country.

"No worries. I need so sweet potatoes. My grandfather’s grains have run out too; so coarse grains will do. Getting caught eating fine grains wouldn’t be good." Yin Yang didn’t mind.
"Sure, just co by my house later," Xu Mumu nodded. This kind of thing actually brought back mories.
Once they reached the county, Xu Mumu prepared to part ways with Yin Yang.
"I’ll wait for you here later," Yin Yang said with a gentle smile.
