When Xu Mumu returned, Zhao Guodong and the others were sitting in their yard, each seemingly quite happy.

"Dad, what happened? Why is Auntie Ying giving birth now?" Xu Mumu asked, puzzled.
Qian Ying was in the room, giving birth, sounding a bit weak, not delivered yet. The children were too afraid to speak loudly, staying in the living room doing howork or reading.
The delivery room was busy with Madam Chen and Sun Huiping; Li Caixia was resting in her room, her ti was imminent too.
"She cramped and fell when fetching water, leading to early labor." Xu Hai pursed his lips.
"Why didn’t you take her to the hospital?" Xu Mumu frowned.
"Don’t worry, your grandma delivered many babies, it’s fine." Xu Hai said calmly.
"Where is Xu Xue?" Looking around and not seeing Xu Xue, Xu Mumu was a bit puzzled.
"She went to get Doctor Chu from the health center, should be back soon." Xu He said, his gaze fixed on the direction of the room, where his wife was giving birth. He had wanted to stay inside but was pushed out by Madam Chen.
Clumsy with everything he did inside, he was nothing but a hindrance, so he was directly driven out.
Unable to help in the delivery room, Xu Mumu went to the kitchen, ward a bowl of poached eggs, changed the pot, and boiled plenty of hot water, knowing it would be useful soon.
