"I’m worried you’ll be taken by another man." Yin Yang said gently, not bothered by Xu Mumu’s words.

"That definitely won’t happen." Xu Mumu curled her lips.

"Why not?" Yin Yang looked at Xu Mumu.

"Because my standards are high." Xu Mumu said with a smile.

"What are your standards?" Yin Yang’s eyes lit up.

"Firstly, he must be good-looking, secondly, he must be obedient, and preferably, wealthy." Xu Mumu continued washing the clothes in her hands, casually brushing the water.

"That’s indeed hard to find." Yin Yang laughed even more cheerfully, he fit the criteria quite well.

"Hmm." Xu Mumu nodded and placed the washed clothes into the wooden basin.

"Mumu, I’m going to take the dicine to my grandpa first." Yin Yang said in a great mood; he wouldn’t disturb Xu Mumu from washing clothes here, and his grandpa was still waiting for him.

"Go ahead." Xu Mumu said with a smile.

She finished washing her few clothes in no ti, and soone else ca to the riverbank to wash clothes—it was Zhao Qing’s sister-in-law, Chen Qiu Ling.

Xu Mumu glanced at Chen Qiu Ling, who shrank back her neck; she knew her brother had been beaten by Xu Mumu and didn’t dare to co around to trouble Xu Mumu.

Xu Mumu chuckled disdainfully inwardly and then carried her basin away from there.

When she returned ho, the kids hadn’t co back yet, and Li Caixia was in the small field pulling weeds with the little one strapped to her back.

"Big sis, I don’t understand so parts." Xu Mumu hung the clothes, and Xu Wan ca to her with a book.

Looking at the book Xu Wan was holding, it seed to be the middle school textbooks Xu Xue found for her, it looked much older than hers, with many notes, clearly the book of soone who studied seriously.

After Xu Wan’s vacation started, she wasn’t as busy as the other kids; doing the house chores and watching her younger brother was enough for her, allowing more ti to study.

Xu Mumu took a look and explained to Xu Wan, the concepts were simple, and with Xu Xue helping to tutor her, Xu Wan could keep up with the other kids’ learning pace.

"Understand now?" Xu Mumu asked gently.

"So parts are still unclear." Xu Wan’s face turned slightly red, she wasn’t as smart as Jiaojiao and took longer to grasp things.

"No problem, tell what you don’t understand, and I’ll explain carefully." Xu Mumu comforted softly; Xu Wan was a bit timid and insecure.

Xu Wan pointed out the parts she didn’t get, having tried self-studying and finding it incomprehensible. Her sister was always busy making money, and apart from earning, she had her own reading to do, Xu Wan felt embarrassed to disturb her and sought help from the big sister.

Over the year, Xu Mumu established a very high image in the kids’ minds. In their view, their big sister was knowledgeable and especially impressive.

Xu Mumu explained the knowledge points Xu Wan struggled with, and once understood, the questions were almost solvable.

"Understand now?" Xu Mumu asked.

"Got it, thank you, big sis." The little girl’s face was flushed as she nodded.

After sending off Xu Wan, Xu Mumu returned to her room to pack; she had to report to the shoe factory tomorrow and found a shoulder bag for so essentials, unsure about being an assistant since she never did it before.

After a while, Xu Minghui returned with the kids, their haul remarkably abundant; Xu Minghui carried a muntjac over his shoulder, already dead with an injured leg and a fatal neck wound.

"Brother, where did you get this?" Xu Mumu’s eyes widened, amazed at her brother’s skills; he even caught a muntjac, weighing about thirty to forty pounds, which ant lots of at.

"From the trap we set up, it was already dead when we arrived, must’ve just died recently, totally edible, so I brought it back." Xu Minghui said cheerfully.

"Of course it’s edible, I’ll go boil the water, Minghui, skin the animal." Li Caixia was thrilled; they had more at to eat.

"Got it, mom." Xu Minghui resignedly agreed, not really wanting to skin it, but wouldn’t dare say it in front of his mother.

With at at ho, things got busy quickly, Xu Mumu joined the action, and the kids’ mushrooms were taken to be washed, the bikon mushrooms gathered separately, instructed by Xu Mumu to give to Du Yu’s family.

When Old Xu and the others returned, the muntjac was almost fully cleaned, with the too-dirty organs discarded by Li Caixia, keeping what could be washed.

Madam Chen helped cut the at into small pieces, marinating so to hang on the beam, and cooking quite a bit for lunch; the whole family gathered for a al, with a generous serving of at and dishes brought over from the second and fourth families, filling two large basins and still polished off completely.

"So full, wish we could eat like this every day." Xu Minglei contentedly rubbed his belly, feeling stuffed, not having eaten this full in a long ti.

The household always ate enough, but the sa food every day didn’t taste good when overdone, just filling the stomach without overeating.

Unlike at, which you never have enough of.

"Stop dreaming, go tidy up your rabbit cage, that room’s ssy again." Madam Chen looked at Xu Minglei with disdain.

"Grandma, let rest a bit, I’ll go later." Feeling too stuffed to move.

"Suit yourself, if that room’s not cleaned up, see how your mother deals with you." Madam Chen said lightly, returning dishes to the kitchen where Qian Ying and Sun Huiping were washing pots.

Once rested enough, Xu Minglei promptly went to clean the rabbit cage, accompanied by other little ones.

"Jiaojiao, doesn’t Da Hui look a bit chubbier?" Xu Minglei stroked Da Hui’s smooth rabbit fur, thinking it would make a warm scarf when slaughtered.

"Yes, a bit chubbier, Xiao Hui’s so dumb, always losing the grass fight to Da Hui." Xu Jiaojiao nodded in agreent.

Da Hui and Xiao Hui were nas of two female rabbits, despite being constantly watched over by the kids, Xiao Hui still struggled to outcompete Da Hui for grass.

"Oh my, when will they finally have baby bunnies?" Xu Jiaojiao crouched by the cage, hands propping her chin, expectantly watching the two female rabbits.

"Xiao Bai was just brought in recently, it won’t be that fast, sister said to be patient, Da Hui and Xiao Hui for sure will have babies." Xu Minglei said solemnly, eyes filled with anticipation, thinking of all the money they could make from plenty of baby bunnies in the future.
