Xu Mumu either spent her days at ho taking care of her little brother or watching her parents put on a painful face as they studied, finding it all quite amusing.

Xu Xue looked at him as if she were a wolf, starved for a long ti and seeing at. Her infatuated and even greedy gaze ticked just about all his wrong boxes, making him dislike her even more.
He couldn’t understand why he suddenly attracted Xu Xue’s attention; she even knew so things about him.
He specifically had soone investigate Xu Xue, but the results showed she had never left the team and had no contact with his stepmother or those antagonistic to him.
Yet, Xu Xue seed to know quite a bit, even possessing a foresight that made him uneasy.
"I-I’m okay. I just saw Huo over here sitting alone, bored, and I wanted to chat with you." Huo Qingze’s words left Xu Xue a bit stifled. She was so warm to him, why couldn’t she warm his heart? Was his heart made of stone? Xu Xue felt a bit wronged inside.
"No need, I don’t find it boring. I enjoy quietly reading books." Huo Qingze said indifferently, holding a book in his hands. It was an original English book that Xu Mumu found for him. Unaccustod to crowds, Xu Mumu feared he’d be bored, so she handed him her copy of "How the Steel Was Tempered" to pass the ti.
