"I have a lot going on here, you know, I’m planning to relocate the Yin family’s business back to the country. By then, I’ll have even less ti to go to school," Yin Yang said gently.
"Alright, if you want to graduate early, just do it," Xu Mumu nodded. It’s sothing that should indeed be considered now. The policies will co out soon, and it will be too busy then unless Yin Yang decides to take a break from school by that ti.
"Once things here settle down a bit, I’ll leave the rest to Huo Qingze and let him handle it. Then I’ll fully focus on preparing for early graduation," Yin Yang squeezed Xu Mumu’s hand. If it weren’t for all these matters, he’d certainly love to accompany her to and from school every day, but the reality just doesn’t allow it.
"Mm, stick to your plans," Xu Mumu said seriously. She certainly didn’t want to be a burden to Yin Yang.
At school, Xu Mumu noticed that a lot of people were paying attention to her. The news of her award probably spread throughout the whole school.
Sure enough, she hadn’t even reached the classroom when she saw a giant banner congratulating her on winning the award.
Xu Mumu twitched the corner of her mouth. Well, that’s high-profile enough.
Entering the classroom, many were still curiously watching her, so with envy, and others, like Shen Ya and her good friend, with jealousy.
Xu Mumu didn’t mind their stares. She focused on her classes during lessons and read the books she needed after classes. There was still a bunch of equipnt that wasn’t working well, so it was better to think of ways to improve them.
"Xu Mumu, you’re amazing," Jiang Zhenghao, along with a few classmates, ca over to congratulate her after the second class.
"Thank you," Xu Mumu smiled at them.
"Xu Mumu, I heard you even set up a lab yourself, is that true?" a tall, slim boy nad Han Tianwen, who did pretty well in class, asked curiously.
"Yes, it’s true," Xu Mumu replied, not expecting the news to spread, but she admitted it directly despite being a bit surprised.
"Wow, your family must be very capable, to have set up a lab just for you," Han Tianwen said enviously.
"It was set up by my partner, just a small courtyard next door that was converted, with so lab equipnt inside," Xu Mumu replied modestly with a smile.
Hearing that Xu Mumu’s partner had set up such a lab for her, many in the class were even more envious, especially Shen Ya, whose eyes turned red with jealousy.
She envied Xu Mumu for her good looks, being adored by the teachers, having such a good-looking and kind partner, and now, seeing her partner’s family must not be short of money either. These were all things she longed for.
"The lab was set up for the convenience of Sir Song and . Many students use the school labs, and often there’s no available lab when you need one," Xu Mumu said with a gentle smile.
"Your partner is quite impressive," Han Tianwen remarked, knowing how expensive properties and lab equipnt were in the Imperial City, and Xu Mumu’s partner wasn’t just good-looking after all.
"It’s alright," Xu Mumu responded with a light smile, looking at them.
"Xu Mumu, can we visit your lab soti?" Jiang Zhenghao looked at her hopefully. Whenever he accompanied his ntor to do experints, he wasn’t allowed to touch many things, so of which he never even got to see, so he was curious about what Xu Mumu’s lab looked like.
"Sure, visiting isn’t a problem. I’m busy these days, but let’s go have a look together on Saturday," Xu Mumu didn’t refuse. Jiang Zhenghao and his friends were all diligent students, and she was willing to befriend such people.
"Great, Xu Mumu, thank you so much," Jiang Zhenghao said excitedly.
"No need to be formal," Xu Mumu shook her head with a smile.
Seeing that Jiang Zhenghao and the others had arranged to visit Xu Mumu’s lab, many others chid in wanting to join, and Xu Mumu readily agreed, with the one condition that no one was to break anything in the lab.
Xu Mumu’s request wasn’t excessive, and everyone agreed imdiately. As a result, most of the class was planning to go take a look.
Seeing Xu Mumu being so admired by many, Shen Ya was consud with jealousy. She loved being the center of attention, and now that her most disliked person was there instead, she was filled with envy.
Xu Mumu didn’t care about Shen Ya at all, and as for Shen Ya’s resentful gaze, she noticed and even enjoyed it. Is that all she can take?
The weather cooled down gradually, and Yin Yang quickly handed over his tasks to the friends Huo Qingze had brought in. He was ready to start focusing on his studies.
Huo Qingze also learned about Yin Yang’s plan to graduate early. Though he didn’t know why, when even Yin Yang wanted to graduate early, and knowing there were soon going to be policy changes, he felt a sense of urgency too. Graduating early would give him more ti to start a business; he was falling in love with the feeling of making money.
So, as soon as his friends took over his tasks, Huo Qingze also began preparing for early graduation. He also wanted to graduate early since he wouldn’t have much ti for school if he went into business.
Xu Mumu had no idea that Yin Yang’s motivation for studying influenced Huo Qingze to prepare for early graduation too.
The weekend arrived quickly, and Xu Mumu had told them to et at the school gate at nine.
When Xu Mumu and Yin Yang arrived, everyone was already waiting there, and she noticed many from the class had co.
"How long have you been here?" Xu Mumu asked, slightly embarrassed.
"Just a little while, don’t worry," Jiang Zhenghao, as a representative, stepped forward. "These are all the classmates who wanted to go, it’s a bit many, hope you don’t mind."
"No worries, I don’t mind. Is everyone here? Anyone else missing?" Xu Mumu asked.
"Everyone’s here, just these people," Jiang Zhenghao said warmly. Most were boys, with two girls—Su Yue’e and Lin Xiang. They were all quite curious about Xu Mumu’s lab.
"Alright, let’s go then," Xu Mumu nodded.
They lived nearby and arrived at the residence within ten minutes.
"Mumu, I didn’t realize you lived so close," Su Yue’e said, envious. If she had the money, she’d love to rent a place outside too.
"Yes, it’s my partner’s place; we live on one side, and the lab is on the other. Would you like to co in for a drink?" Xu Mumu asked.
