When their child grows up, Xu Mumu still wants him to learn more things. With Yin Yang around, finding a good teacher won’t be hard. He can learn a bit of calligraphy and music instrunts and stuff.
After leaving the fourth house, the two of them walked toward the lab, and Xu Mumu started talking to Yin Yang about her plans.
Yin Yang smiled helplessly. Did she really need to worry about such things?
"Don’t worry, he’ll have plenty to learn later. In our family, with so much stuff, without so skills, he wouldn’t be able to handle it," Yin Yang said with a smile, amused at how much his little wife was fretting.
But compared to what she was saying, he was more worried that she’d be too protective of the child and think he had too much to learn.
But the child is still young right now, so these things can be taken slowly.
Yin Yang also told Xu Mumu about his own plans for the future; these things would be shared with her sooner or later.
The chill went through Xu Mumu for a mont and then she accepted his rationale. Learning more when young would be beneficial later in life.
The Yin Family has so many businesses; without the ability, it certainly wouldn’t work. Mumu didn’t understand these things and still needed Yin Yang to teach.
"I’m worried about Grandpa and the others. By then, they probably won’t bear to see the child tired," Yin Yang chuckled. He rembered how his grandpa, even though not visiting often when he was small, was always full of tenderness for him.
Now, seeing how indulgent Grandpa and the others are with Doudou, he was worried he couldn’t handle the old people’s complaints.
After sharing his worries with his little wife, Yin Yang felt a headache.
"It’s okay, I’ll help you hold off Grandpa and Sir Jian," Xu Mumu giggled imagining the scene. What Yin Yang ntioned could very well happen.
As they were about to reach the lab, they saw soone waiting there.
Xu Mumu couldn’t imdiately recognize who the woman was, but Yin Yang’s face turned dark instantly.
Song Jiayan also saw Xu Mumu and was montarily stunned. In her mory, Xu Mumu was just a little girl who hadn’t quite grown up yet. Over the years, she never expected the girl would beco so beautiful, no wonder she could hold Yin Yang so tightly.
"Yin Zhiqing, my roasted sweet potatoes are the sweetest. Want to try so?" Song Jiayan intended to make ands after angering Yin Yang that morning.
"No need, we’ve had lunch, and besides, we’re not that familiar," Yin Yang almost rolled his eyes. How could this woman be so thick-skinned, one step short of directly offering herself to him?
"Who is she?" Xu Mumu twitched her lips, unable to recall this person. She rarely ca back here, and when she did, it was to the lab. She was only familiar with the people working in the village.
The woman’s intention was obvious; her eyes almost glued to Yin Yang. Xu Mumu didn’t know what to say. She had been happy thinking that since returning, Yin Yang had fewer suitors; she didn’t realize it was her own ignorance.
"You don’t rember ?" Song Jiayan looked at Xu Mumu in disbelief. How could she forget her in just a few years?
"Oh, it’s Song the Intellectual, wife, don’t listen to her nonsense. I never eat out or take anything from others," Yin Yang’s disdain was plain in his eyes.
Yin Yang had such a strong survival instinct, Xu Mumu was at a loss for words. After all, they were outside, where was his dignity? She wasn’t a tigress.
But Yin Yang did indeed mostly eat at ho; except when he was extrely busy, he didn’t have much chance to eat outside.
"Oh, it’s Song the Intellectual, haven’t you returned to the city?" Xu Mumu said with a faint smile, recalling Song Jiayan. She rembered the girl had confessed to Yin Yang before.
She also recalled the drama she and Bai Xiaofu had staged, and that this person seed to have gotten married in the village. After being reford, now with the policies opened up, those who were reford returned.
Xu Mumu observed Song Jiayan with interest; was she still pining after Yin Yang? She decided to ask Ciuhua about Song Jiayan; after all, there wasn’t a thing in the village that Liu Cuixia didn’t know.
"No, no," Song Jiayan said awkwardly, wanting to catch a glimpse of Yin Yang, but his attention was all on Xu Mumu, completely ignoring her.
"Song the Intellectual, we’ve had lunch, and besides, Yin Yang doesn’t like sweet potatoes, you should take them back," Xu Mumu said with a slight smile.
"Yes, I don’t like them. Also, my wife is here, and you should be more mindful now that you’re married, don’t let people misunderstand," Yin Yang quickly agreed. If his wife said he didn’t like it, he didn’t. Eating with his wife was the best.
"If there’s nothing else, we have so things to attend to," Xu Mumu satisfiedly glanced at Yin Yang before speaking to Song Jiayan.
Song Jiayan stood awkwardly, feeling humiliated by Yin Yang once again, making her feel unappealing, even though many village n stared at her during work.
Although she wasn’t as fair as Xu Mumu, she wasn’t bad herself.
Song Jiayan considered herself the sa as when she first ca to the countryside, seemingly unaware of ti slipping by.
Watching the couple walk hand in hand, Song Jiayan was filled with jealousy.
Stomping her foot, she turned to leave, thinking of going back to pamper herself. Once she got a fair complexion, she wouldn’t lose to Xu Mumu.
If Xu Mumu knew what Song Jiayan was thinking, she’d probably laugh for a while, wondering where Song Jiayan got such confidence.
Regardless of where Song Jiayan got her confidence, Xu Mumu imrsed herself back into her blueprints project.
Doudou woke up not long after. With his father around, Xu Mumu was very relieved.
After finishing his work, Yin Yang ca to remind Xu Mumu, who realized she had been too engrossed and lost track of ti.
"Mumu, are you cold?" Yin Yang handed a jacket over to Xu Mumu from the car, as the wind was picking up.
"No, I’m not cold. You’re wearing so thin yourself, don’t worry about ," Xu Mumu said, putting on the jacket while looking at Yin Yang helplessly.
"I’m not cold either, I’m in good health," Yin Yang packed the baby stroller into the trunk, before helping open the door for Xu Mumu to get in with the baby.
Sitting in the car on their way back, Xu Mumu then asked about Song Jiayan.
"When did Song Jiayan start pestering you?" Xu Mumu asked out of curiosity.
"Just this morning, when I took Doudou out for a walk," Yin Yang replied with a wry smile, quickly recounting the morning’s events to ease any worry in his wife’s heart.
