After being encouraged by the principal, Xu Mumu returned to the spot where she had been standing before.
"Wow, this pen is really nice, Mumu, you’re amazing," Xue Yan said enviously. Her dad was a teacher, so she knew a bit about pens and such things.
"If you were a bit more diligent, maybe you could get one too," Xu Mumu said helplessly.
"Forget it, I don’t have the patience to learn those things," Xue Yan said with a headache. She was about to say sothing else, but the horoom teacher, Old Liu, looked over, and Xue Yan obediently shut her mouth.
After returning to the classroom, Xu Mumu put away the award certificate, notebook, and pen. Her parents would definitely be very happy when she took them ho.

"Mumu, what are you smiling about? Did you think of sothing funny?" Du Yu looked at Xu Mumu curiously.

"Qing, I have so things to do, you head back first." As she stepped out of the school, Xu Mumu said to Zhao Qing.
"What’s up? Need my help?" Zhao Qing pressed his lips slightly, looking at Xu Mumu. He could feel that lately, Xu Mumu no longer depended on him as much as she used to.
"Can’t tell you, you head back first, I’ll be back soon." Xu Mumu said with a smile.
"Alright then." Zhao Qing nodded, seeing how determined Xu Mumu seed.
After she left, Xu Mumu didn’t head anywhere else but went to the shoe factory and waited in a deserted corner of a small road.
This road was what Xu Mumu and Du Yu had inquired about; they heard that Zhou Yuan liked to walk this way.
It must have been Zhou Yuan who wrote the complaint letter; she wasn’t the type of person to let things go.
After waiting for a while, Zhou Yuan ca. Xu Mumu walked over directly from the wall.
"Xu Mumu, what are you doing here?" Zhou Yuan was startled when she saw Xu Mumu, then she shouted loudly.
"I’m here to see you, did you write the complaint letter?" Xu Mumu asked flatly. Jealousy can sotis drive people to do a lot of irrational things.
"No." Zhou Yuan blurted out without thinking; there was no way she would admit to such a thing.
"Hehe, Zhou Yuan, I told you, you don’t want to provoke , or else." Xu Mumu sneered, stomping on a stone pedestal, which instantly cracked into several pieces.
Zhou Yuan’s eyes widened, shrinking back in fear. That stone pedestal had been there for many years, and yet Xu Mumu smashed it with one stomp.
"You... you... don’t co any closer." Seeing Xu Mumu approaching step by step, Zhou Yuan was terrified and kept retreating.
But soon, she was backed against the wall with no way out.
"Was it you who wrote the complaint letter? Do you believe that even with just half my power, I could punch this wall down, but who knows if your small body could withstand it." Xu Mumu clenched her fist, looking at her delicate white hand. Who could have thought that this fair and petite body harbored such enormous strength?
"Alright, Xu Mumu, I was wrong, don’t hit ." Zhou Yuan was scared to death, tears kept falling. She was really scared now, wishing she hadn’t provoked Xu Mumu in the first place.
"Good. You should have admitted it earlier." Xu Mumu curled her lips into a smile.
"Don’t co any closer, what on earth do you want?!!" Seeing Xu Mumu still approaching, Zhou Yuan scread in fear.
"You provoked , so naturally, I need to collect so compensation." Xu Mumu said with a smile, enjoying Zhou Yuan’s fear of her. She even sowhat relished this feeling; it might be a leftover effect from the apocalyptic tis and constant slaughter.
In good spirits, Xu Mumu left the secluded place and even stopped by the recycling center to find so English reference books.
By the ti she returned to the village, Yin Yang was already waiting under the locust tree at the entrance to the village.
"Have you thought about what I asked you last night?" Yin Yang leaned against the locust tree, looking at Xu Mumu. The evening sunlight seed to cloak him in a layer of light, making it hard for people to look away.
"My grandpa agreed. If Zhiqing Yin wants food, you’ll have to co over at night." Xu Mumu said with a smile.
"No problem." Yin Yang said with a smile.
After watching Yin Yang leave, Xu Mumu carried a stack of books and headed ho.
When she got ho, several children were waiting obediently.
"Did you rember the words I taught you yesterday?" Xu Mumu smiled at a few young faces; luckily, none of them were silly, so teaching wasn’t so hard.
"Big sis, I rembered," Xu Jiaojiao was the first to raise her hand.
"I rembered too," Xu Minglei said. With Xu Mumu giving him extra lessons, it was easy to rember.
Xu Tao and Tiedan were feeling a bit guilty because they hadn’t rembered everything.
"Big sis, I forgot a little," Xu Tao said awkwardly.
"Jiaojiao rembered everything. If you forget, you can ask Jiaojiao." Xu Mumu said helplessly.
"It’s because big brother is embarrassed," Xu Jiaojiao said proudly, feeling she was now better than her brother.
Xu Mumu chuckled, reteaching yesterday’s words until Xu Tao and Tiedan rembered them all before starting with the new ones.
When Li Caixia and the others returned, Xu Mumu finally took out her award and the prizes.
"Oh my, my daughter won an award, truly amazing. This notebook is so pretty, and this pen, it looks like it’s ant for cultured people." Li Caixia said proudly.
"Honey, let touch it too," Xu Hai said, a bit envious.
"No way, your hands are filthy; what if you dirty the award certificate? These are treasures." Li Caixia said with disdain, casting an annoyed glance at her husband, who had just co back from working in the paddy fields, covered in dirt.
"Exactly, listen to your wife," Madam Chen agreed, also displeased with her son’s dirtiness. She was a bit of a neat freak, and she kept the house spotless.
The whole family gathered around the award certificate and prizes, admiring them as if they were treasures.
"Mom, I think we should hang the award certificate in the main room so everyone who cos will see it," Li Caixia said, eyes gleaming as she looked at Madam Chen. She could hardly wait to share the good news with her good friend Liu Cuixia.
"Sounds good, find a nice place for it later, and don’t let it get dirty," Madam Chen agreed, also pleased with the idea. This way, everyone who visited would know how excellent her granddaughter was.
