Bam!

"Gasp!" Soone exhaled, almost tripping over himself. He was holding sothing in his hand, which he steadily aid at Haji and the five guys ganging up on him. That soone kept quiet, covering his mouth with his free hand. He bowed even lower, for fear that the bush in front of him wasn’t covering his entire body. ’What’s going on?! Are they... what are they doing to— ’

That certain soone closed his eyes, but his right hand still steadily pointed at Haji and the college students.

Seconds passed, and that person couldn’t bear it anymore. He didn’t want to get involved with the bunch so he quietly slipped away. Fortunately, the college students didn’t notice him.

...

anwhile, gumi was also heading out of school when she noticed the commotion. At first, she thought that Haji caused another ruckus and that he was paying the price for it, but upon seeing one of the college students hit him on the head with the bat, she imdiately backed away in shock. Drops of blood started dripping from Haji’s head as the college students started laughing.

"Is that the best you got?! Hahaha~" From afar, gumi could hear the college student holding a bat mocking Haji even though he might’ve already been dead.

Without thinking twice, gumi pulled out her phone in a panic, dialing one of the numbers she saved. "Hello, um... Franz-san, are you almost here?"

"Yes, young lady, why did you call?" The voice of a man responded on the opposite line. "Is everything all right?"

"No, soone’s getting beaten up in front of the school and there was no one here to help. Can you get here as soon as you can? I think my classmate needs to be hospitalized." gumi recalled. That’s when it occurred to her that she should’ve recorded everything right from the start.

It was already too late though since Haji had already been hit before she could even pull out her phone.

"I understand, young lady, I will be there soon." The voice responded, then gumi heard a click.

"Please, Franz-san... " gumi muttered a silent prayer to herself.

Even though Haji was a troublemaker and she didn’t want to involve herself with him, she also couldn’t turn a blind eye to an injustice that happened right in front of her. Haji would’ve been able to defend himself if he had his guard up, and yet he was hit on the head defenseless. It was plain to gumi that Haji didn’t intend to start the fight. He was simply caught in it.

But then again, it’s not like she could do anything about it. If Haji was already having a hard ti, then more so if she was in his position. Besides, it’s not like she can face five college student guys at once. That’s why she pinned all her hopes on Franz-san, her driver.

anwhile, a miracle, or rather, an unexplainable case happened. Although soone had already bashed Haji’s head and he had already fallen to the ground, he got back up a few seconds, his eyes a clear shade of white. He was unconscious, and yet his adrenaline was doing all the work for him.

Before the guy holding the bat could react, Haji already headbutted him and punch two of the other guys in the face. Soone tried to punch him but he caught his fist and twisted his arm. Then, he slung the guy’s arm on the shoulders and judo-threw him to the ground. The guy holding the bat swung his bat, but Haji blocked it with his forearm. He then kicked the guy on the shin, causing him to shriek in pain.

The other two guys in the group charged at Haji, their fists clenched and at the ready. But Haji squatted down and headbutted one of them at the right ti. Extending his left hand, the other guy’s neck was caught in it and he brought him down to the ground before kicking his face.

It was a huge fistfight, but Haji didn’t back down at all. In fact, he was winning.

When the other four were already knocked unconscious, so of them with broken appendages and ribs, the guy with the bat began feeling rather nervous. Out of desperation, he aid the bat at Haji.

Without a shred of hesitation, Haji charged at him, fully taking advantage of the guy’s fear and indecisiveness. As soon as he was within arm’s length, he kicked the guy on the chest, then stepped on his wrist as soon as he fell down. The guy scread as his wrist was dislocated, but Haji didn’t stop there, he also stepped on his right hip, dislocating the guy’s leg altogether.

Shhhhh

The ’shh’ didn’t co from soone saying it, but it ca from the guy’s pants as a steady stream of liquid poured out from between his legs. He groaned in pain, but he couldn’t do anything since his right wrist and right leg were both dislocated. Even if he wanted to tuck his tail and run away from the scene, he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t even stand.

When Haji heard the groan, he imdiately ca to his senses. That’s when he noticed that the guy who attacked him with the bat, along with his lackeys, was already defeated. He couldn’t even rember who defeated them. Nevertheless, he felt a slight sting on his knuckles, and that’s when he noticed they were badly bruised and bleeding.

Beep!

Beep!

A car pulled out in front of him and before Haji saw the person coming out of it, the loss of blood suddenly got the better of him, rendering him unconscious for the second ti. Since the fight was over, adrenaline had also left his system— this, of course, played a huge part in his fight response. And now that it’s gone, he finally returned to his previous state of unconsciousness.

"What happened here?" Franz-san asked himself, adjusting his tie as he walked to the group of students. He imdiately recognized who the young lady’s classmate was. After all, he was the only one wearing the uniform of the school. "So this is him, huh. That’s a good hit to the head, all right." He continued, slinging Haji on his shoulder and putting him in the backseat of the car.

"Franz-san, you’re here." gumi panted. She ran all the way from the entranceway of the school, across the school grounds, and out the front gates. "Let’s hurry."

"Yes, let’s hurry." Franz-san nodded. He didn’t bother checking in on the other guys since they didn’t have major injuries. Although Haji was the one left standing, his injuries were worse than the five combined. "What’s his na?"

"Haji. Sasajima Haji." gumi responded. "Oh, and keep this between us, Franz-san! I don’t want him to know that we helped him out. Also, the hospital, don’t give your real na! Just pay the bill and then we hurry out of there."

"As you said, young lady." Franz-san nodded, wearing a slight smile on his face. It wasn’t that noticeable though since his white mustache and beard covered a considerable portion of the lower part of his face.
