Initially, I thought the person most ashad to be seen must be Daisy Young.

Dirk Carter was wrong.

She stood there with her hands on her hips.

She said sarcastically to Kim Churchill, "What? Are you jealous of Dirk Carter? Even if you are, it's useless; I don't think much of you."

"Pft, do you think I'd be interested in you?"

This retort took Kim Churchill by surprise, but he quickly countered.

"Of course, everyone knows our Churchill only has eyes for the bottom feeders. A toad can only pair with a toad, yet you really think you can eat a swan?"

Daisy Young's words not only stunned Kim Churchill and the others.

It also stunned Dirk Carter.

This woman sure is fierce.

For a mont, Kim Churchill was at a loss for words.

Irritated, he said, "Go ahead, boast all you want, let's see how long that lasts."

After saying that.

He waved his hand.

And left with Cody White.

Burrell Yule ca downstairs and approached Dirk Carter, saying, "The disciplinary committee just talked to us, asking about your relationship with Daisy Young. I said things normally, but I don't know what those two said."

"Okay, thank you."

Dirk Carter patted Burrell Yule on the shoulder.

He arrived at the door of the disciplinary committee.

The door was open.

Inside, voices were heatedly debating.

Sheila Walsh went in and shortly returned.

After going inside, the leaders of the school committee were all present.

Each of them looked at them with a grim expression.

Vice Principal Larry Lewis cleared his throat and said sternly, "Since the establishnt of the State Political School, such a severe incident has not occurred. Issues of relationships have always been a red line in school rules, you two were too audacious, skipping classes to have an affair. If we don't treat this seriously, the school's century-old reputation will be ruined by you."

Disciplinary Secretary Christopher Sutton nodded and said, "After deliberation, the school committee has co to a decision. Comrade Dirk Carter and Comrade Daisy Young, you have severely violated school rules. We have decided to expel you from the school and send you back to your place of origin, awaiting further disciplinary actions from local authorities."

After speaking.

He took out two official docunts.

Handed them to Dirk Carter and Daisy Young, saying, "Please sign your nas."

Direct expulsion.

This punishnt is quite severe.

And judging by their deanor, it seems they have no intention of thoroughly investigating the matter.

Annual training courses.

Countless cadre mbers dream of attending.

Yet here they are, expelled after just a month, not knowing if they'll be reinstated, but they've certainly beco a joke throughout the province.

Even if reinstated.

Their career paths have essentially ended.

"I refuse to sign."

After saying so, Dirk Carter tore the official docunt to pieces.

Christopher Sutton was about to lose his temper.

Larry Lewis interrupted him, saying, "Whether you sign or refuse, this is the decision of the school committee; you must unconditionally accept it. Your personal belongings are packed, you can leave the school now."

After speaking.

He glanced at the door.

Dirk Carter turned to look.

Seeing two on-campus military police already standing there.

What is this?

Swift-cutting resolution?

No room is left.

Dirk Carter didn't mind much himself; he didn't want to implicate Daisy Young, still hoped to argue a bit.

But Daisy Young followed suit, tearing up the docunt.

Said, "I refuse to sign too."

She left after speaking.

Wow, didn't expect this woman had personality.

Since Daisy Young had left.

There was no point in Dirk Carter staying.

He got to the door, paused, and said, "No matter who frad , rest assured, I'll make sure they pay."

"Dirk Carter, what do you an?"

Christopher Sutton shouted angrily.

Dirk Carter didn't respond, smirked, and left abruptly.

The two were "escorted" by military police through the campus of the school.

On arrival, there were few people.

On departure, the corridors of the school building and dormitories were filled with classmates they've been with for a month, whispering about them; it looked like a scene of public humiliation from ancient tis.

Upon leaving the school.

Dirk Carter had only one bag.

And Daisy Young had only one suitcase.

Their eyes t.

What a desolate sight.

"Hungry? I'll treat you to a al,"

Daisy Young smiled slightly.

Dirk Carter paused and asked, "You don't seem upset at all."

"What's there to be upset about? Things have already happened; feeling upset would only increase vexation. Life goes on, I can't handle such a blow by jumping off a building; it wouldn't be worth it."

Dirk Carter gave her a thumbs up.

Right in front, a familiar face appeared.

No other than Rasco Shaw's secretary, Barry Ford.

"Comrade Dirk Carter, the leader has called you over,"

Barry Ford pointed his hand—a car number three of the State Committee was parked in the fire lane nearby.

"You go ahead; I'll wait for you,"

Daisy Young said.

Dirk Carter nodded, handed his bag to her, and said, "Wait a mont; I'll be right back."

In the car.

Rasco Shaw was relaxed, smoking leisurely with his legs crossed.

Dirk Carter got in.

He flicked the cigarette butt out directly.

Asked, "Expelled?"

"As you wished, expelled,"

Dirk Carter replied.

Rasco Shaw gave a slight smile, saying, "You're wrong, your expulsion wasn't my doing."

"No, it was your doing. If it weren't for you, no one would be jealous of ; naturally, no one would harm —using others to kill, you played it tactfully."

Dirk Carter stared into Rasco Shaw's face and said.

Rasco Shaw was taken aback but not angry; he soon laughed and said, "So you know everything now?"

Dirk Carter shook his head, saying, "Initially, I didn't, but I figured it out on the way back today."

"Oh? Tell ,"

Rasco Shaw asked with interest.

Dirk Carter smiled slightly, saying, "The relationship between us—only heaven, earth, you, and I know it—needs no further explanation. Logically, I should be grateful for what you did not to step on , but you covered for when I was late, which struck as odd."

According to normal reasoning.

Dirk Carter should be thankful.

But he wasn't.

Because he clearly knew the grudges between him and Rasco Shaw couldn't be resolved.

The matter of bringing down Charlotte Ray couldn't just pass.

What's worse, Rasco Shaw is Dirk Carter's father's killer.

His biological parents and Dylan Tate likely died at his hands.

With such deep hatred, Rasco Shaw's personality wouldn't let it go, right?

That support at their first eting had to have so hidden motives.

"Initially, I was puzzled, but then you announced the best student, and soone told the school was just a formality. I realized you'd deliberately set this best student up to tell school leaders I was your insider—thus, other leaders' insiders naturally wouldn't just sit idly."

After speaking.

Rasco Shaw seed pleased.

He nodded, saying, "Good, very insightful, so you know who set you up, right?"

"Of course, he's indeed despicable, and I won't let it slide. But, more despicable is you—without you fanning the flas, such things likely wouldn't have happened. Big figures are big figures; they can stir huge waves by rely moving their lips—respect, really respect,"

Dirk Carter said.

Rasco Shaw laughed aloud.

Muttering, "No wonder Charlotte Ray died by your hand. In hindsight, it's not unjust—though you should also be aware that even knowing the truth, you can't do anything to , right?"

When saying this, Rasco Shaw's face showed the superiority of a victor.

A feeling of overlooking all beings.

As if Dirk Carter was rely a bug in his fingers; if he wanted, Dirk Carter could be crushed in an instant.
