Helen Fletcher stood on the dining table with bare feet.

She twisted her body in front of Dirk Carter.

As the dance continued.

She took off her clothes piece by piece.

When the last layer of cloth was stripped away.

Dirk Carter lifted her off the coffee table and gently placed her on the sofa.

At that mont, Helen Fletcher's gaze beca as fiery as the last ti.

"How about we don't sleep all night tonight? Can we go at it until I can't stand the next day?"

Looking at Dirk Carter's handso face, Helen asked.

Dirk Carter playfully tapped her nose, saying, "Overindulgence isn't good. If we really don't sleep all night, you won't be able to walk tomorrow."

Upon hearing this.

Helen clamped her legs around Dirk Carter's waist.

She said tenderly, "It's okay, as long as it's with you, I don't care if I get swollen or sore."

Sweet words like these.

Dirk Carter couldn't hold himself back any longer.

Quickly undressing himself, he spread Helen's legs wide open and thrust in... hard.

Another night of indulgence.

Just like Dirk Carter said.

By the ti dawn broke, Helen Fletcher's legs could no longer close.

Forget about getting out of bed; she couldn't even kneel.

After resting for two or three hours.

Dirk Carter got up early.

Half-asleep, Helen murmured, "Didn't you say we would leave at eleven? It's only nine, you can rest a little longer."

Dirk Carter kissed her forehead lightly.

Saying, "You keep resting, I have so things to take care of."

Helen didn't ask what things, turned over, and fell back into a deep sleep.

Looking at her sprawled body on the bed.

Dirk Carter gently covered her with a blanket.

Around nine fifteen, Dirk Carter arrived at the county governnt's building and knocked on Caden Dixon's office door.

He could leave without saying goodbye to everyone, except Caden Dixon.

As if he had been waiting all along, Caden was already sitting on the sofa when Dirk ca in.

"You're here?"

Caden asked.

Dirk nodded, saying, "I ca to say goodbye."

Caden chuckled, saying, "I thought you'd overslept after a night of indulgence."

Dirk awkwardly scratched his head, saying, "Uncle Caden, co on, that's not the case."

Caden teased, "You think others don't see what's between you and Secretary Helen? Fine, let's not talk about this anymore. Have you confird your decision to go to customs?"

"Confird."

Dirk nodded and said.

Caden slightly nodded, saying, "Originally, I wanted to stop you from going. After all, if you encounter danger outside, no one will shield you. But seeing that you managed to drive Rasco Shaw out of Ronan City, I thought about it and still felt you're stronger than us old guys here. Perhaps venturing into broader horizons suits you better. I have nothing more to tell you, except to take good care of yourself, and if you can't make it outside, co back. I'll be your ho."

Words like these filled Dirk's heart with warmth.

"Uncle Caden, take care of yourself too."

Dirk said emotionally.

Caden stood up and said, "By the way, there's sothing else. During your schooling at the party school, I received a call, an overseas call."

"Overseas?"

Caden nodded, saying, "It was from Darlene Fisher."

"Darlene Fisher? My godfather's..."

"Yes, she's your godfather's wife. About 25 years ago, Darlene took her and Dylan Tate's only daughter abroad for dical treatnt and never returned. So I was quite surprised to receive her call."

"Was she asking you for sothing?"

Dirk inquired.

Caden slightly nodded, saying, "She told that Jocelyn Tate returned to the country and gave her phone number, asking to look after her. But when I called, it was always off, and I haven't been able to reach her."

"Jocelyn Tate? My godfather's daughter?"

Dirk asked.

Caden said, "Yes, she's about the sa age as you. I'll give you her number too. Try to reach her and help her if you can."

"Isn't their ho in Ronan? I'm going to Ardmore City."

Dirk asked, puzzled.

Caden laughed.

Saying, "The Fisher family is a big na in Ronan City, and you've heard of the Gable Group, right? It's owned by them. The Fisher family has two daughters, the older one is Valerie Fisher, and the younger one is Darlene Fisher. In recent years, old man Gunner Fisher's health hasn't been well; age catches up. Feeling guilty toward his younger daughter Darlene, he wants her to co back to inherit part of the estate. Darlene doesn't want to return, so she had her daughter Jocelyn co back."

The Gable Group is a group company that produces large machinery.

Its products include excavators, loaders, cranes, and various types of heavy machinery.

A well-established company indeed.

In recent years, Valerie Fisher has been managing the Gable Group.

Naturally, she's reluctant to share the inheritance with Jocelyn Tate.

So she suggested to the old man to let Jocelyn go to the Ardmore City factory for training first.

Of course, in na, it's training, but in reality, they're finding ways to suppress her.

As long as Jocelyn makes trouble or mistakes at the Ardmore City branch, trying to claim an inheritance becos impossible.

This is why Darlene called Caden.

After all, having been abroad for 25 years, the only support she could find dostically was her husband's old comrade, Caden.

Dylan Tate raised Dirk for ten years.

In seeking vengeance for his own parents, he sacrificed himself, so when his daughter needs help, Dirk couldn't just sit by.

Nodding, he said, "Uncle Caden, don't worry. As soon as I'm in Ardmore City, I'll look into it and definitely do my best to help her."

"Yes, that's how it should be. Although Darlene left Dylan Tate in the past, it was ultimately for her daughter. Let's not dwell on the previous generation's matters. Since Jocelyn is Dylan Tate's only daughter who's co from afar, it's right to help in any way we can."

"Okay, I got it."

After saying these words.

Caden reached out and gave Dirk a hug.

Dirk said, "Uncle Caden, there's sothing I need to trouble you with."

"What trouble? Just say it."

"My secretary, Yves Quill. Originally, I used him because he has a strong sense of justice and is honest and straightforward. In fact, his personality isn't really suited for a governnt career. Can you help arrange for him to either go to a school or the education bureau instead? Those places might suit him better."

"Sure, don't worry, I'll take care of it for you."

Caden said.

With Yves Quill's matter settled, Dirk felt at ease.

As for others, he didn't see the need for goodbyes; after all, it was just Ardmore City, not a parting with life and death.

Returning to his dorm, he packed his luggage and bade farewell to Helen.

Dirk picked up the appointnt letter and set off toward the Ardmore City Customs.

Just as he reached downstairs, about to hail a taxi.

A car drove up slowly.

The window rolled down, and it was Arlo Yarbrough.

"Where to? I'll give you a lift."

Arlo said with a smile.

"What are you doing here?"

Dirk asked curiously.

Arlo said, "Nothing much. I just happened to pass by the entrance and saw you waiting with luggage, so I stopped by."

Such a coincidence?

Dirk opened the back door, tossed his luggage in, and then got into the passenger seat, saying, "To Ardmore City."

"Two hundred, no less."

Arlo unceremoniously said.

"A taxi would only cost about 150. You want two hundred?"

Dirk asked.

Arlo snickered, saying, "I provide good service, what's wrong with charging a bit more?"

"How is your service better?"

"Look, I'm an orthopedic doctor. If there's an accident on the road, I can give imdiate aid. That extra fifty bucks buys you peace of mind, you know?"

Arlo grinned playfully.
