Nora Hughes said nonchalantly.
Upon hearing this, Calvin Shaw imdiately beca excited, covering his face and saying, "Officer, look at how arrogant this woman is. You asked her to go, and she refuses. I suggest you arrest her imdiately. I suspect she's involved in prostitution."

Unexpectedly, Calvin Shaw didn't appreciate Dirk Carter's kind advice one bit.

Pointing at Nora Hughes, he shouted, "How can you let her go? She slapped just now, everyone saw it."
The officer turned to Calvin Shaw and said, "Sir, the command center just reviewed the surveillance. You deliberately harassed others. Please co with us now."
"What? You're arresting and not her?"
"Please cooperate with our work."
The two officers beca noticeably stern.
Seeing him looking bewildered, Nora Hughes sneered and said to Dirk Carter, "Let's not waste ti. Let's go."
Seeing she was about to leave.
Calvin Shaw was unwilling, reaching to grab Nora Hughes, prompting the officers to act. One of them knocked Calvin Shaw to the ground, took out handcuffs, and locked them on him with a click.

Following Nora Hughes, Dirk Carter comnted with mockery.

A rcedes sedan was already waiting.
The two were about to get in the car.
A woman's sarcastic voice suddenly ca from behind.
"Well, who's this? Isn't it our dear Nora? What a bee-attracting outfit today."

Nora Hughes shivered.

Dirk Carter followed, seeing a woman with an extraordinary aura.

She blocked Dirk Carter, saying, "Jeanette Houseman, aren't you being rude? He's my guest, why would you try to intercept?"

She said, "I'm not intercepting, I'm just asking Mr. Carter. Surely he knows which of Argentum's three families is most powerful. Smart birds choose good trees to roost in, so Mr. Carter, please consider carefully."
