"George Carter? You an the guy who used to live right next door to us? He's been dead for years. I've never seen him myself, only heard of him, seed pretty famous."
Faith Hendrix asked.
Yorick Hall nodded.
He said, "His son's back. I heard he beca so bigshot official out there. He went to sweep the grave today, and that bastard old Blaxton actually dug the grave up. Of course the guy lost it. We still don't know how this is going to be handled. My resort is definitely done for, and as for what's going to happen to old Blaxton, it's hard to say right now."
"Don't you have connections up top? Go pull so strings."
Faith Hendrix grabbed Yorick Hall's hand and said.
Yorick Hall shook his head.
He said, "Doesn't work. Secretary Griffin of our Bayberry Town, he used to be that Dirk Carter's subordinate. Who can I possibly go to that would help? Ah! This ti it's over. It's just you I'm sorry for, you'll be stuck living like a grass widow again."
When Faith Hendrix heard this,
her eyes almost filled with tears.
She complained resentfully, "Old Yorick, I don't want you to leave. What am I supposed to do if you go?"
Seeing that he'd gotten the reaction he wanted,
Yorick Hall pinched his chin.
He said, "It's not like there's absolutely no way, it's just… I'm afraid I'll need you to do a favor."
"Tell , I'll help no matter what it is!"
Faith Hendrix said through gritted teeth.
Yorick Hall leaned close to Faith Hendrix's ear and whispered a few words.
After listening, Faith Hendrix imdiately waved her hand and said, "No way, I can't do that. How am I supposed to show my face in the village afterwards?"
"So do you want us to never see each other again after this?"
"I don't."
Faith Hendrix said, feeling wronged.
Yorick Hall held her hand and encouraged her, saying, "This kind of thing, yeah, it'll sound nasty if it gets out, but it works. Once we make a scene like that, this Dirk Carter's reputation is finished, and the resort can keep operating. Once it's completed, I'll arrange a job for you at the resort. You'll be getting a salary, and the two of us can stay together for good. Isn't that great?"
When Faith Hendrix heard this,
she was tempted too.
She tilted her head back, weighing it over.
Then she nodded and said, "Fine, I'll do it, but before that, you have to feed first. You haven't co for two days already. If you don't feed , I'm going to dry up down there."
"Oh, my poor little thing, that horny?"
Yorick Hall was secretly overjoyed.
He pushed Faith Hendrix down onto the sofa.
His hand slipped under her clothes and started teasing her big white rabbits.
Faith Hendrix's body imdiately went soft.
Little whimpers started coming from her throat.
Yorick Hall sat up.
First he took off his own clothes.
Then he stripped Faith Hendrix's clothes off as well.
He reached his hand between her legs and gave a stroke.
His hand was instantly soaked.
"Well I'll be, we haven't even started yet and you're already flooding down here."
Yorick Hall clicked his tongue in wonder.
Faith Hendrix had no mind for chatting anymore.
She spread her legs.
And pleaded, "Co in, hurry up and co in, I can't stand it anymore…"
"Alright then, I'll scratch that itch for you!"
Yorick Hall raised his gun and mounted up.
With a wet thrust.
Faith Hendrix's mouth fell wide open, and she let out a long breath.
That expression was almost like she'd died and gone.
Eight o'clock in the evening.
Dirk Carter finally finished tidying up the room.
Looking at the clean and tidy bed,
he felt quite satisfied.
He found a bamboo chair in the main hall and tried it out; surprisingly it still worked.
After washing it with a basin of water,
he carried it out into the yard.
He still rembered that when he was little, his father George Carter would always nap on this chair; it was an indelible mory of his childhood.
Now that he lay down on it himself,
that feeling ca back again.
"Dad, Mom, don't worry. Your son hasn't forgotten how you died. I will definitely get revenge on Rasco Shaw for this. I'll make him kneel in person in front of your graves and repent."
Looking up at the bright moon in the sky,
Dirk Carter murmured in his heart.
Suddenly,
he heard a creaking sound.
The front door was pushed open.
Dirk Carter sat up with a swish.
He saw a middle‑aged woman in pajamas standing at the doorway, peering in.
"Big sis, who are you looking for?"
Dirk Carter asked.
The woman gave an embarrassed smile.
She said, "You're the Carter Family kid, right? Do you rember ? I'm your neighbor, Sister Faith."
"Sister Faith?"
Dirk Carter muttered.
To be honest,
he had no impression of any Sister Faith at all.
Otherwise he wouldn't have failed to recognize Blaxton Morgan.
Back then Blaxton Morgan's family hadn't split up yet; they didn't even live next door to them.
"Sister Faith, did you need sothing?"
Dirk Carter asked.
Scratching her head, Faith Hendrix said shyly, "Sorry to bother you. My faucet broke, and I don't know how to change it. I was going to go out and find soone to help, then I saw your door was open…"
"Oh, Sister Faith, you want to help you fix the faucet, right?"
Dirk Carter asked.
Faith Hendrix nodded and said timidly, "My man isn't ho. Could you give a hand?"
"No problem, Sister Faith, take over."
Dirk Carter said, then walked to the door.
Faith Hendrix thanked him all the way,
and led Dirk Carter into the kitchen.
At this ti,
the faucet in the kitchen was still spraying water nonstop.
The floor was already completely soaked.
"That damned cheapskate of mine is always buying this crappy stuff. He's never ho, and these things break every few days. It drives crazy."
Faith Hendrix grumbled as she spoke,
walking into the kitchen.
She put her hand over the spraying area,
and said, "Little brother, like this. Sis will block the water for you, you take a look and see what's actually wrong with it."
They were all neighbors in the sa village.
Dirk Carter felt it would be awkward to refuse.
So he stepped through the water and went in.
He leaned in to check, and it seed like the sealing ring was damaged.
He was just about to ask if there was a spare sealing ring at ho,
when suddenly, from under Faith Hendrix's hand, the faucet spurted out a jet of water.
Dirk Carter was caught off guard and got soaked from head to toe.
"Oh no, little brother, how did that happen? I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."
Faith Hendrix hurriedly dragged Dirk Carter out of the kitchen, found a towel, and started wiping him down.
n and won shouldn't be touching like this.
Dirk Carter snatched the towel and said, "It's fine, Sister Faith, I'll do it myself."
"Look at , so clumsy. You're soaked through. Let Sis find you one of my man's shirts. You can change and hang yours up to dry."
"No need, Sister Faith, it's hot out, it'll dry in a bit."
Dirk Carter said politely.
Faith Hendrix ignored him.
She grabbed Dirk Carter's hand and said, "Little brother, what are you being polite with Sister Faith for? Co on, let's go change your clothes."
Just like that,
Dirk Carter was forcibly dragged into the bedroom by Faith Hendrix.
She opened the wardrobe to look for clothes.
Only then did Dirk Carter notice that Faith Hendrix was also soaked all over.
The wet pajama fabric clung to her body.
Her upper half wasn't much to see,
but the lower half perfectly outlined the curves of her two plump buttocks.
"Found it."
Faith Hendrix called out in delight.
She turned around.
Dirk Carter couldn't help but suck in a breath of cold air.
The view from the front was even more blood‑stirring.
