Chapter 1327: Chapter 894 There’s Always a Way

……..

The room fell into a deathly silence, the girls exchanged glances with one another, yet no one spoke. Lumiere’s claims were so outlandish that they found it almost impossible to believe.

And the first to snap out of it was surprisingly Teerdi, who always seed sleepy.

“So, you’re saying these damn Magic Elves are attached to us? Is there really no way to cancel the contract?”

“At least, as far as I know…”

“Yes, there is.”

However, before Lumiere could finish, Duanmu Huai interrupted her and pulled a skull-shaped Rose Rosary from his embrace.

“This is?”

“This is a Holy Artifact of the Tribunal.”

Duanmu Huai, a smile on his face, began explaining to Teerdi as if he were a door-to-door salesman.

“The Tribunal possesses the strength to destroy everything; anything that exists can be obliterated, and that includes contracts with Magic Elves. If only you clasp this Holy Artifact with true hope and prayer, pleading for the destruction and abandonnt of the Elf Contract, then the contract can be nullified.”

“It’s that simple?”

“Of course not, it’s not that simple. It ans that you would beco a believer of the Tribunal, and after death, your soul wouldn’t be claid by Elves or Demons but would return to the domain of the Tribunal, understand?”

“After death? What about while I’m alive?”

“As long as you don’t dwell on the destruction of humans, then no problem.”

“I see.”

After hearing Duanmu Huai’s explanation, Teerdi didn’t even pause to think and reached out her hand to him directly.

“Then hand it over.”

“….You’re not going to consider it first?”

It has to be said, faced with Teerdi’s reaction, Duanmu Huai was taken aback and grew wary. It’s like when you’re making a scam call, and before you’ve even finished your pitch, the other person asks how much money to send over. At that point, you wouldn’t think that person is a fool but rather soone who wants to get you thrown into jail!

“Of course, I’ve had enough of these damn things!”

Teerdi made no attempt to hide her loathing for Elf Magic, and it was then that Enisphia coughed slightly, speaking up with a bit of embarrassnt.

“Actually… Teerdi has a unique Physical Attribute, ever since she was young, using Elf Magic would lead to her going berserk. The more she uses magic, the more irrational she becos, so she has always disliked Elf Magic.”

That explained it.

Duanmu Huai nodded and handed over the Rose Rosary.

“Just grasp it and pray.”

“It’s that simple?”

“Of course.”

After all, this essentially amounted to praying to a God, and Duanmu Huai, the God of Destruction, was standing right there, providing a one-stop service. You’d finish your prayer, and the next second, he would stamp it.

Oh, see, here it cos.

Co on, stamp it.

Snap.

“Eh?”

Teerdi opened her eyes in surprise, looking at her hands.

“What’s happening to …”

Muttering to herself, Teerdi stretched out her hand making a gesture as if to cast magic, but nothing happened.

“How is that possible? It can really destroy an established Elf Contract?”

The one who was even more surprised was Lumiere, at this mont she looked as if she had just seen an apple fly up from the ground to a tree branch, her face filled with disbelief.

“Just a re Elf Contract, destroying it is nothing complicated.”

Duanmu Huai was quite nonchalant—after all, no matter how powerful the Magic Elves were, they were just re Subspace Creatures. Could they even be compared with Duanmu Huai, the God of Destruction?

“It’s unbelievable, that the Tribunal could actually do this…”

By now, Yuriya also had a complex expression on her face, looking at Teerdi in front of her, who seed overjoyed. After all, for a Nobleman, once an Elf Contract was made, it could normally never be undone. The mistake Teerdi made was done out of childish ignorance, as most noble offspring would enter into contracts and use Elf Magic upon reaching a certain age, except for oddities like Enisphia.

Of course, if Teerdi had the choice, knowing it would be like this, she would never have made an Elf Contract in the first place!

“Yuriya, want to give it a try?”

Perhaps sensing Yuriya’s gaze, Teerdi reached out her hand passing the Rose Rosary, but Yuriya looked tremulously at the Rose Rosary in Teerdi’s hand and abruptly stood up.

“No, no need! I have not planned to release the Elf Contract!”

“Why keep that thing, what use can it do?”

Watching Yuriya’s expression, Teerdi humphed dismissively.

“Now that you are no longer the fiancee of Prince Highness, why do you still keep the Elf Contract? Do you want to beco an Elf Contract Holder like Lumiere?”

“No, I’m not…”

Yuriya shook her head.

“I just feel that it’s a matter of great importance, and at least from my perspective, the Magic Elf doesn’t seem to pose that kind of threat…”

“By the ti you find out, won’t it already be too late? Forget it, it’s your choice. I’m too lazy to care.”

While saying this, Teerdi handed the Rose Rosary back to Duanmu Huai, and Yuriya hesitated for a mont before stepping back.

“Sorry, I’m very confused right now, I need to go back to my room to rest…”

After finishing her sentence, Yuriya turned around and left, and it seed that Enisphia was also worried about Yuriya and hurriedly followed her.

“Indeed, a genius young lady like you is different from us ordinary people.”

Seeing Yuriya’s hasty departure, Teerdi snorted coldly, her words laced with disdain. Then she stood up and stretched comfortably.

“Anyway, now I should be able to get so good sleep, so I’m off to rest too…”

Seeing that Teerdi had also left the room, Lumiere approached Duanmu Huai with a serious expression.

“I never would have imagined you could annul an Elf Contract…”

“Do you want to try, too? Unfortunately, you’ve got no chance.”

“Yes, it’s a pity I can’t do it anymore.”

Lumiere also sighed.

“Now I have completely transford into the Subspace Demon that you speak of; this body is just a shell for . However… I hope you can be careful with that Miss Yuriya.”

“What’s wrong with her?”

“She possesses Elf Contract Holder qualities not much different from mine. Honestly, I’m worried she might beco like , an Elf Contract Holder. After all, when I think about it, I don’t quite understand why I beca an Elf Contract Holder in the first place. At that ti, my father had already beco an Elf Contract Holder, immortal and virtually without any worriso elents. Yet, I don’t know why, I felt I had to form a contract, to be a substitute for my father — now that I think of it, were those really my own thoughts? Or were they influenced by the Magic Elf…”

“Are you worried that Yuriya may also be guided by the Magic Elf?”

“That’s right, so… you need to be careful.”

“This is indeed troubleso.”

Duanmu Huai agreed with Lumiere’s worries. Although when people hear the term Subspace Demon, they tend to associate it with those dirty, ugly, evil, and chaotic creatures under the Evil Gods, many Subspace Demons actually appear to be kind and friendly.

If Yuriya is persuaded by them and becos an Elf Contract Holder — what a joke, would a Subspace Demon manage to persuade soone under the nose of a Judge? Where would I, a Judge, put my face then?

In that case, I’ll just have to do it my way.

Thinking this, Duanmu Huai snorted and nodded.

“Leave it to .”

“Bang.”

Back in her room, Yuriya shut the door behind her, lay down on her bed, and pressed her hand to her chest, gasping for breath.

“Haah… haah…”

At this mont, Yuriya’s mind was in turmoil; she had never considered such things before.

Magic Elf… evil? Harmful to humans?

How could that be?

Yuriya had always been taught since childhood that Elf Magic protected humans and the Paretia Kingdom, and she had hoped to continue this legacy. Even after being jilted by the Prince, Yuriya was only sowhat perplexed, but she did not beco discouraged because she still had her own Elf Magic. Full magic adaptability, powerful Elf Magic, this was Yuriya’s essence.

But now… Magic Elf is evil?

They want to destroy humans?

How could that be?

As the next generation’s strongest Elf Magician, Yuriya was sure, she had never felt malice from Elf Magic!

Perhaps Lumiere is indeed the daughter of The First Generation King, but what she said may not be correct, right!

With this thought, Yuriya clenched her right hand tightly.

If I can beco an Elf Contract Holder like Lumiere, then perhaps it’s possible to clarify the misunderstanding! Magic Elfs… are beneficial to humans! It must be so!

While Yuriya was resolutely making up her mind, Duanmu Huai, now back in his own room, also sighed and scratched his head.

“What a hassle, this little girl’s stubbornness can be tough to deal with. Alright, just use that move then.”

Muttering to himself, Duanmu Huai looked up and raised his right hand.

“PERSONA!”

With Duanmu Huai’s murmur, he snapped his fingers forcefully, and in the next mont, the world in front of him shattered.

Upon the endless grasslands, a splendid manor stood erect, and atop the manor, a nobleman’s flag fluttered.

“That must be Yuriya’s realm of consciousness.”

Looking at the manor before him, Duanmu Huai flexed his body and strode towards the manor.

“Persuading soone in the real world isn’t my strong suit, it’s better to change things directly from the source.”
