The threats lying dormant deep within the spaceship wreck are what truly need our attention.
“Ogis, Mary, and I will lead the way, with dea following behind us.”
Duanmu Huai scanned the surroundings and, after confirming the absence of enemies, he then gave out the commands before turning his gaze to Mary.
“Mary, remind if you see anything out of the ordinary.”

While speaking, Duanmu Huai turned on the Bird Divination Tool and scanned the surroundings, then locked onto a direction.

Or the situation could be even worse.
Of course, each scenario is rather bleak in its own right.
Clutching the War Hamr, Duanmu Huai steadily advanced step by step, with Ogis and Mary seated on his shoulders to the left and right, and dea seated on the Jet Backpack behind him. Ogis appeared to be well accustod to this, while Mary was sowhat nervous. She held a gun in one hand and clutched a protrusion on Duanmu Huai’s shoulder armor with the other. Fortunately, the ship was currently in a state of low gravity, so Mary wasn’t worried about being shaken off by Duanmu Huai.
Passing through the warehouse, the group arrived at a massive engineering compartnt and upon seeing the corpses on the floor, Duanmu Huai stopped in his tracks. He then reached out and lifted up one of the relatively well-preserved bodies, and under the illumination of the searchlight, the rotten transford skin, along with the bullet holes on the body, beca clearly visible.
“Ugh…”
On seeing this, Mary imdiately turned her head away. Although she had seen many disgusting things while following Duanmu Huai, she just… wasn’t accustod to it.
Duanmu Huai extended a finger and inserted it into a bullet hole in the chest of the body, scratching around inside before pulling it out.
“Looks like the Star Union did indeed co here, and they encountered an attack on site.”

Hearing Duanmu Huai’s remarks, Mary was surprised.

Mary gripped her weapon tightly, listening uneasily to the sounds coming from all directions — it was as if the echoes of everything Duanmu Huai had just done were reverberating back, but in a completely different form.
“It’s nothing, just that the real show is about to start.”
Duanmu Huai clenched his War Hamr, observing his surroundings.
“Everyone, prepare for battle!”
