White Stone Outpost.

Although Shū Xiǎoyà told Duanmu Huai that this was an outpost, in fact, this place was entirely different from a surface outpost.

The only thing present on the thick rock wall was a round gate over five ters thick. Yes, the so-called White Stone Outpost was actually just a simple sluice gate.

But now, for both vampires and humans, it has beco the most indispensable defense line. After all, as long as you control this gate, you can ensure completely unobstructed passage. At the ti, the vampires put in a lot of effort before they finally managed to seize the White Stone Outpost from humans. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to invade human territory so easily.

However, compared to the humans’ tense anxiety when they controlled the White Stone Outpost, these vampires were much more relaxed.

"This is really boring to death."

Playing the cards in hand, a vampire couldn’t help but complain.

"How much longer do we have to stay here?"

"Another ten days, just stay put."

Hearing the complaint from a companion, another vampire casually threw out his cards and then replied.

Among vampires, being stationed at the White Stone Outpost is actually a tough job, since humans neither have the guts nor the ability to attack here. So, many tis they can only idle in the control room. The only benefit is that when those noblen pass through the White Stone Outpost to go hunting, they’ll give them so perks... that’s actually the best welfare here.

Speaking of this topic...

"By the way, what about that group from before? It’s been several days now, haven’t they co back yet?"

The third vampire looked at the cards on the table, then silently decided to fold, while changing the topic.

"They’re probably out having fun. Those young noble masters and misses are like that. Don’t worry, there are dozens of them and they brought the newly developed monster knights. There is nothing in this area that can trouble them. It’s the humans who are the unlucky ones. Ha ha ha, just imagining them struggling and screaming in front of the Four Knights is amusing."

At this mont, suddenly a voice ca from behind them.

"Oh? Haven’t they returned yet?"

"Yes, by the ti we reckon, they should’ve co back yesterday......"

Halfway through the conversation, the vampire who was happily replying before suddenly realized sothing was off, he turned around in surprise, only to see a burly, red-haired middle-aged man standing behind him, smiling while watching him. And not far behind him stood a petite black-haired girl and a voluptuous blonde woman.

"Lord Yousford!"

Even though the middle-aged man in front of them didn’t look fierce, the vampires playing cards were frightened and hurriedly stood up straight, respectfully bowing to the man. The reason was simple, the middle-aged man before them was not an ordinary vampire but a noble among the Vampire Clan, or rather a noble among nobles — the Vampire Ancestor.

The social hierarchy among vampires is simple, the older you are, the more powerful you are, and the longer you’ve lived, the more noble you are. This man was as such, as one of the Vampire Ancestors, his appearance was that of an average middle-aged man, but how long he had truly lived... well, that was another matter.

This is the Vampire’s Thirteenth Ancestor — Corley Yousford.

"Why would Lord Yousford personally co to the White Stone Outpost...?"

"Because those kids haven’t returned ho, soone ca looking, so I reluctantly ca to take a look."

Although not a top-ranked ancestor, he was still an ancestor. When Yousford frowned and questioned them, the pressure he exerted was sothing ordinary vampires could not withstand.

"What exactly is going on?"

"Well... we don’t know either, five days ago we opened the gate and sent them out. At that ti, it was Lord Klein leading them, saying they were off to hunt outside... they were supposed to return yesterday as planned, but until now, we haven’t seen any of them."

"Tsk, what a hassle."

Hearing the guard’s reply, Corley clicked his tongue.

"Do you know where they went?"

"Undeveloped Zone 16, I heard they set bait there and went to see if any prey got hooked this ti."

"Send soone to look for them."

Since Corley had co, he naturally wouldn’t leave empty-handed.

"Just say I’m here to bring them back, tell them to hurry up."

"Yes!"

No matter how slack the guards were, they would never dare disobey the orders of the Thirteenth Ancestor.

"We will imdiately send soone......"

"Boom boom boom-----!!!"

However, before they could dispatch a search team, suddenly, a series of dull knocking sounds were heard.

"What sound is that?"

Upon hearing this sudden noise, everyone was taken aback, then Corley frowned.

"The sound is coming from the direction of the gate! What’s going on!"

As soon as the voice fell, Corley Yousford’s figure flickered and disappeared, and the other guards quickly stood up and rushed towards the door.

"Knock knock knock! Knock knock knock!!!"

When Corley arrived at the gate, the other vampire guards had already gathered, staring in confusion at the huge steel gate before them—a circular gate three stories high, completely blocking the passage. Typically, the noblen returning from hunts would contact the duty room via intercom, and the latter would open the gate to let them in.

As for knocking?

A solid iron gate three stories high, five ters thick—not even vampires could knock it down.

So what is this?

"What’s going on?"

Corley frowned as he looked at the guards beside him, who shook their heads.

"I, I don’t know, this kind of situation has never happened before......"

"Knock! Knock! Knock!"

Eventually, the person knocking on the door seed to lose patience, each knock heavier than the last, causing panic among the vampires who had no idea what was happening.

"———————"

Suddenly, the knocking stopped, plunging the outpost into silence, the vampire guards also held their breath, afraid to speak.

Then, a muffled voice ca from outside.

"Little bunny, open the door, hurry up and open it, Daddy wants to co in."

"............"

What is this?

For a mont, almost every vampire wondered if they had misheard sothing bizarre; why was soone singing outside?

"Go, see what’s going on!"

At this mont, Corley too reached out to grip his sword hilt, then solemnly issued an order. As a Vampire Ancestor, Corley now had a foreboding feeling. That feeling was like a storm brewing, an unimaginable disaster was about to strike, even Corley involuntarily tensed.

Upon hearing Corley’s order, the vampire guards swiftly moved. Soon, several guards went upstairs, preparing to open the gate.........

"Boom—————!!!"

Accompanied by a thunderous roar as if from a storm, the heavy gate flew out, rushing forward and crashing into the rock wall, shaking the entire White Stone Outpost! Those vampire guards who couldn’t evade were directly hit by the flying gate like flies, splattered against the walls, clearly beyond saving.

Corley’s reaction was faster. Years of crisis instincts saved him; almost as the gate was smashed, Corley instinctively moved aside, barely dodging. Even so, he felt the terrifying pressure whirl past him; had he been a step slower, he would have ended up like the guards, without a trace!

What was going on? Did humans launch an attack? How did they manage it?

"Rumble!!!"

As the door flew, countless rocks cascaded down, clouds of dust enveloping the twisted, deford White Stone Outpost gate. Corley firmly gripped his sword hilt, his expression tense; he could feel an incredibly terrifying presence approaching from behind. The kind of pressure that seed to bring death and destruction almost felt like a razor scraping against Corley’s nerves, filling him with unprecedented fear!

What on earth is it!

"Thud... Thud... Thud..."

Under Corley’s gaze, footsteps again sounded, and soon a tall, pitch-black Steel Warrior strode out of the swirling dust, clutching a War Hamr.

"Such trouble, if you’d opened the door earlier, there wouldn’t be all this fuss."

Duanmu Huai erged from the dust with a War Hamr in hand, scanning the surroundings, the red glow inside his helt blazing.

"Prepare to die, vampire scum! Today is your apocalypse!"

"Who are you?!"

Hearing Duanmu Huai’s shout, the surrounding vampire guards reacted—humans are attacking White Stone Outpost!

They actually have the guts to attack White Stone Outpost?

Though it seed impossible, the scene in front of them was a fact, even vampires previously needing other thods to break through the blockade had completely vanished. This ant humans had breached the White Stone Outpost’s defense, launching an attack on the vampires!

They actually dare do this?

How dare they!?

Even if finding it hard to believe, the vampire guards had to accept this— they were under attack!

"Kill him!"

At this mont, the guards drew their weapons and leaped forward, lunging at Duanmu Huai erging from the dust!
