Capítulo 1850: Chapter 1253: Turbulent Winds and Clouds

“Holy Light bless us, what on earth is happening?”

Lord Maxwell peeked out from the chapel, his expression heavy as he looked around. As a mber of the Silver Dawn, Duke Therrenhof has always been dedicated to combating the undead catastrophe. And Silver Dawn had constructed a chapel in this cursed Eastern Plaguelands as a frontline fortress against the undead catastrophe.

For the Sacred Knights of Silver Dawn, this was a grueling and lengthy mission… Originally, it should have been.

But now, what did he see?

Lord Maxwell stared blankly at the scene before him, unable to believe his eyes. He had been in the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire for a long ti, and he was very familiar with this land. In his mory, the Eastern Plaguelands was a cursed, corrupt land filled with decay and stench.

But now, what he saw was more like a furnace. Everything here seed to have been obliterated by flas, with everything in sight burning fiercely.

“What on earth is happening?”

Commander Eligor of the Crusaders and Commander Marlan of the Scarlet Crusade also appeared at the door of the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire, looking at the scene with frowns and doubt.

“Is this so kind of attack?”

“I don’t think so, no matter what kind of attack, it can’t cover the entire Plaguelands, maybe it’s a catastrophe…”

After all, everyone had seen those golden beams fall from the sky, like teors shining brightly. Honestly, the only thing they could do at that ti was gather everyone inside the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire, then activate the barrier. Fortunately, those golden beams did not attack the chapel, otherwise… they likely wouldn’t have escaped unscathed.

With a somber expression, Lord Maxwell looked at the earth before him; he recalled a hill not far ahead, which now had beco a massive crater.

Could this all be the doing of those golden beams? If so, then perhaps even the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire wouldn’t withstand such a strike.

“What should we do now?”

“Don’t be impulsive.”

As the commander here, Lord Maxwell still maintained a calm deanor.

“At least we are safe here for now, but outside is different. Everyone, prepare yourselves; this unusual situation is evident…”

However, before Lord Maxwell could finish his sentence, a rogue lay on the ground, ear to the ground, and after a mont, quickly looked up at Lord Maxwell.

“Sir! Sothing is approaching! Many in number!”

“What?”

Upon hearing this, Lord Maxwell imdiately clenched the weapon at hand.

“Everyone, prepare for battle!”

With Lord Maxwell’s command, everyone inside the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire quickly prepared for battle, vigilantly watching all around. Shortly thereafter, they sensed the ground gently trembling, heightening Lord Maxwell’s tension.

Very soon, they saw them.

On the other side of the road, several dark, enormous tanks slowly moved towards them, surrounded by towering warriors ard with strange weapons.

“Those are tanks… is it reinforcents from Stormwind?”

Commander Eligor asked hesitantly, but Lord Maxwell shook his head.

“No, it doesn’t look like Stormwind’s technology, and I can’t figure out how Stormwind would transport such big tanks here. Also, look at the emblem on them…”

Commander Eligor turned to look again, and he imdiately saw the skull pattern displayed on the surface of the tanks and on the tall warriors clad in heavy armor. His gaze narrowed.

“Could it be Undercity? Is Sylvanas moving against us?”

“I don’t know, but it’s likely they’re not here with good intentions.”

Staring at the army before him, Lord Maxwell was similarly tense, yet he kept his gaze fixed on them—the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire was beside the road, impossible to miss. He couldn’t even remove the barrier to evacuate others now, as the entire Eastern Plaguelands was still engulfed in flas. If not for the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire raising the barrier in ti, they would have perished from the terrifying bombardnt or from the high temperatures and lack of oxygen.

So now, they had to hold their ground here.

Just then, the opposing army noticed the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire and the warriors eagerly prepared for battle. But to Lord Maxwell’s surprise, these people didn’t even glance at them and turned to continue moving forward, without even bothering to greet them, as if they didn’t exist at all.

“Phew…”

Until the figures of those people disappeared at the end of the road, Lord Maxwell finally lowered his weapon, and everyone else let out a long sigh of relief. Although they hadn’t said a word, their tall figures and terrifying equipnt exerted a heavy pressure on everyone in the Chapel of the Holy Light’s Desire.

“What are they intending to do?”

“I don’t know either, but at least it seems like they don’t hold any animosity towards us.”

“I didn’t an it that way.”

Commander Eligor reached out in confusion, pointing in the direction the others were heading.

“I ant to say, isn’t the place they’re going—Strathol?”

“…….Hmm?”

Hearing this, Lord Maxwell froze for a mont before realizing.

That’s right!

The end of this road leads to the Cursed Undead City of Strathol!

This group is headed for Strathol!

What exactly are they planning to do?

For the Tribunal, there’s naturally only one thing they want to do.

“I really didn’t expect this planet to be small, yet so full of diverse alien species.”

Duanmu Huai returned to the warship, once again observing the planet in front of him, comparing it with the map he had seized in the Undercity, and couldn’t help but sigh.

According to the records on this map, there are quite a few alien species on this planet. Besides the Undead Creatures currently being dealt with by the Tribunal, there are also Trolls in the Hinterlands, Dragonkin in the Burning Steppes, Ogres in Stranglethorn Vale, Orcs in Orgrimmar, Tauren in Mulgore, and Centaur in Thousand Needles and so on… Not to ntion creatures like Murlocs…

The ecosystem here is quite complex indeed.

In Duanmu Huai’s view, the situation on this planet is sowhat similar to a miniature version of the Galactic Republic, where various races share one territory and can live in peace with each other, maintaining a certain level of harmonious relations.

Of course, for the Tribunal, none of this matters. Humans live, others die; it’s that simple.

Expecting Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, or the like to survive is naturally out of the question.

Yet Duanmu Huai remained as consistent as ever without acting imdiately. He was still waiting to see if the human forces here would choose to contact him, hoping that soone like Palpatine or Count Dooku might appear… Then things would be much easier.

Little did Duanmu Huai know that at the sa ti, a fierce debate was erupting in Orgrimmar on the Kalimdor continent.

“They killed my people, destroyed my nation, and I must have revenge!”

Standing in the hall of Orgrimmar, a woman with iron-gray skin and stark white hair shouted angrily. She was the ruler of Undercity and the leader of The Forsaken—Sylvanas.

In fact, Duanmu Huai didn’t know that when he ordered the attack on The Forsaken, Sylvanas wasn’t in the Undercity due to certain matters, and thus escaped. But originally, upon realizing her territory was being attacked, Sylvanas had wanted to return to resist, yet no sooner had she arrived in the Tirisfal Glades did she watch with her own eyes as unending bombardnt rained from the sky, blasting a massive hole in her Undercity.

So Sylvanas decisively chose—to escape.

At that point, rushing in would have been suicide, and she wasn’t foolish!

After fleeing her territory, Sylvanas pondered long and hard before ultimately choosing to seek help from her allies.

After all, The Forsaken are part of the Horde too. Now that we’re in trouble, surely you should at least lend a hand, show so goodwill?

“It truly surprises .”

Confronting the furious Sylvanas, Thrall, the Orc leader seated on the throne, also showed a surprised expression. To be honest, Thrall was aware of the strength of The Forsaken and Sylvanas. For sothing to cause Sylvanas to flee in panic and nearly annihilate The Forsaken… could such a force truly exist in this world?

“Are you sure it’s not the Alliance?”

“Of course, there’s no way the Alliance could defeat .”

“Then what about the Giant Dragons?”

“I didn’t see any Giant Dragons, and the Dragons usually don’t interfere in mortal affairs. I haven’t provoked them, so why would they target ?”

In truth, even Sylvanas herself couldn’t understand where this force that dismantled her ho originated from. To avoid being discovered, upon witnessing her Undercity being bombarded beyond recognition, she decisively and swiftly chose to retreat into exile, driven by an intuition that if she didn’t leave now, she might never escape.

“I understand, Lady Sylvanas.”

Thrall paused for a mont before making a decision.

“I will secretly send soone to the Tirisfal Glades to assess the situation. At the very least, we need to understand the nature of the mysterious force that appeared there before we can devise a plan.”

Although the situation was unclear, and it’s uncertain if this force was targeting The Forsaken or the Horde. If it’s the latter, it could be particularly troubleso.

anwhile, as Thrall issued his orders, the entire planet began to experience turbulent changes due to the sudden appearance of the Tribunal.
