Chapter 1915: Chapter 1293: Ergency Alert

“Bang!!”

With the last Skeleton Lizard falling, the battle ca to an end. It was only at this mont that the soldiers and researchers dared to climb out from the skulls, looking around in fear and unease. All they saw were the corpses of the Skeleton Lizards all around.

Duanmu Huai stood atop the pile of bodies, gripping the War Hamr, covered in blood from head to toe, like a terrifying god of slaughter. In contrast, Lorena and Mugeng managed to stay relatively clean, with not a trace of blood on them.

This was also related to their different combat styles. Duanmu Huai, with his average speed, relied purely on standing his ground, engaging in mutual beatings, finally seeing who could kill the other. Lorena and Mugeng, not as physically strong as Duanmu Huai, used their speed to maneuver and seize the chance for a critical hit.

So, comparatively, the two of them were much cleaner.

“Goodness… this is truly…”

Seeing the corpses of Skeleton Lizards around, everyone was nervously twitching, looking at Duanmu Huai with extra respect. Although he already looked formidable, no one expected him to be this powerful!

In any case, the crisis was temporarily resolved. Not only that, but this journey wasn’t in vain, with so many Skeleton Lizard bodies around. Taking a few back for dissection and examination should greatly enhance human understanding of the Monsters. Thus, the researchers imdiately called for transport planes to carry these corpses—though taking all of them was impossible, finding one or two relatively intact to bring back would be feasible.

“Wow, I didn’t expect to gain so much.”

Seeing the heap of Skeleton Lizard corpses, the researchers’ eyes lit up. Monsters were once rare, with even a hair or a drop of blood in high demand, but now, each could have a whole one for experints! This ant many previously impossible experints due to a lack of materials could now be conducted!

“If only we could catch one alive…”

“Are you kidding? You’ve seen how terrifying these things are, capturing one alive?”

“But those people are so powerful, catching one alive might not be impossible…”

While the researchers were both in pain and happiness, Duanmu Huai was washing the armor clean and chatting with Professor Serizawa.

According to Professor Serizawa, they could build a large research station on Skull Island. Although the Emperor Organization had similar stations in many Monsters’ hiding places, those stations had Monsters in slumber, and to avoid waking them, they couldn’t stimulate the Monsters, so they were more observation points than research stations.

But here was different. Skull Island’s ecological environnt was self-contained, with massive Monsters. Building a research station here would allow the real-ti observation of the ecological environnt and the study of living Monsters.

The only problem was how to handle that super-large gorilla, Kong. After all, it was clearly the island’s ruler. If the Emperor Organization wanted to build a research station here, it might conflict with it.

Duanmu Huai’s stance on this was clear.

“Simple, find it and kill it. That’s that.”

“Wait, we can’t do that!”

Before Professor Serizawa could speak, the female reporter with the cara couldn’t help herself.

“There must be a better way to coexist with it…”

“You an it throwing trees at us?”

Duanmu Huai glanced at her, sneered, and she stared back unflinchingly.

“Kong is just defending its territory; it hasn’t done anything wrong. I believe we can communicate with it…”

“So what?”

Duanmu Huai coldly interrupted her.

“I don’t care if it intends to attack humans, but the fact is it has the capability. You’ve seen it; your attacks on that gorilla had no effect at all. If it wanted to harm humans, it could cause trendous loss. So I believe this Alien Creature should be completely obliterated! It must not be allowed to live! As for territory…”

As he spoke, Duanmu Huai suddenly reached out, grabbed the female reporter’s shirt, and stared at her.

“Don’t forget, the clothes you wear, the items you use, are all human-made. Where do these things co from? Do they appear out of nowhere? Of course not! They are made from resources humans have mined! The sa goes for cities! Humans establish villages, cultivate land, and expand cities. Is this negotiated amicably with those animals? Of course not! It’s the sa for defending territory, not just this gorilla; what happened to them later? They were either killed or driven away by humans! The reason is simple: humans are the strongest!”

Upon saying this, Duanmu Huai looked at the female reporter’s pale face and snorted, releasing her.

“Survival of the fittest, that’s the law of nature. If we aren’t strong enough, we get eaten by wild beasts. If the beasts aren’t strong enough, they get eaten by us. It’s that simple. No matter how wise or friendly that gorilla is to humans, its strength poses a huge threat to humanity, so it must die!”

“…….”

“Rember, woman, we’re the Dangerous Animals Handling Company, not so protection company, not those Holy Mother-hearted, rampant environntalists.”

For a mont, the atmosphere turned quite tense, but fortunately, Professor Serizawa’s voice broke the awkwardness.

“Alright, the topic of establishing a research station on Skull Island must be postponed. We must leave imdiately and return to headquarters!”

“Eh?”

Everyone was taken aback by Professor Serizawa’s words.

Though the exploration results were quite fruitful so far, there was no need to rush back, was there?

“What happened?”

Duanmu Huai looked over at Kiba Hiroto, who had a solemn expression.

“We just received a report from the rear—a Monster Base was attacked by terrorists, and the Monsters that were dormant have been awakened!”

For the Emperor Organization, a research base being attacked and the Monsters escaping was a big deal. Therefore, they had to temporarily halt the Skull Island exploration and quickly return to the Argo-class Sky Carrier.

After all, this island is surrounded by storms, and leaving it unattended for a while shouldn’t pose any imdiate danger.

But other places don’t have this kind of environnt!

In the eting room aboard the Argo, the somber-faced people were also staring at the screen, listening to Colonel Foster’s report.

“At around seven o’clock this morning, Base 23, located deep within the East Asian Rainforest, was attacked. The species code-nad Mothra escaped and cocooned behind a nearby waterfall. Dr. Emma Russell and her daughter Madison were taken hostage.”

“Daughter?”

Hearing this, Duanmu Huai glanced at Dr. Serizawa.

“Is this Emperor Organization a boy scout sumr camp? Can anyone just join?”

“………..”

Faced with Duanmu Huai’s sarcasm, Dr. Serizawa was speechless, not knowing what to say.

Fortunately, everyone did not dwell on such trivial matters; soon, the image shifted to reveal a Caucasian man.

“This man is the mastermind, Alan Jonah. A forr colonel of the British Army, now an ecoterrorist obsessed with restoring the laws of nature. To fund his operations, he recklessly engages in dangerous black market smuggling—behemoth genes. Our intelligence indicates that Jonah intends to capture this Mothra alive, aning his rcenaries are certainly in pursuit, so we will set sail for a joint operation next…”

However, just as Colonel Foster was explaining the next action plan, another man interrupted.

“This is a strategic diversion.”

“What? Mr. Mark?”

“It’s a decoy.”

The man nad Mark stood up and stared at the other side.

“They have Emma and Orca, why run around for just this one?”

“What is Orca?”

Duanmu Huai turned his head, looking towards Professor Serizawa to inquire, and the latter hesitated for a mont before speaking.

“It is a device jointly created by Dr. Mark and Dr. Emma, through which they believe they can establish so sort of connection with behemoths by mimicking the bio-sonar used by these creatures to communicate, possibly even communicate or control them…”

At this point, Professor Serizawa lowered his voice.

“Dr. Emma is Dr. Mark’s wife, and Madison is their child.”

“Oh.”

Duanmu Huai nodded.

“So, is this the device that awakened the monster that was in hibernation?”

“So far, it seems like it.”

While Duanmu Huai and Dr. Serizawa were conversing, the argunt between Mark and Colonel Foster was getting louder.

“They want you to chase Mothra! This way, they can focus on the real target! A bigger monster!”

“Mark…”

At this mont, another man beside them also persuaded him.

“We invited you here to help track Orca…”

“I suggest you kill all the monsters! Especially that Godzilla!”

As he spoke, Dr. Mark angrily pointed at the monster on the screen.

“You want to make sure these things don’t fall into the wrong hands? Kill them all, and Orca becos useless!”

“That is not sothing Emma would be pleased to see, even to save her.”

“Indeed.”

Facing his colleague’s reminder, Dr. Mark showed a disdainful expression.

“It’s not the first ti Emma puts work before herself or her family, right?”

After saying this, Dr. Mark directly turned and left the eting room, while Duanmu Huai let out a light laugh, nodded silently, and then no longer concerned himself with this group’s boring argunt, instead directly activating the communication in his helt.

“Lumiaire?”

“Yes, Sir Judge, what is it?”

“Can you use the Emperor Organization’s network to lock onto the locations of all the monster bases they’ve currently excavated?”

“Certainly.”

“Alright, inform Aikute, I want her to assemble a warband, head to these bases, and kill all the alien creatures hibernating inside, leaving none alive!”

In this regard, Duanmu Huai quite agreed with Dr. Mark’s idea.

The villains obtained the Divine Artifact intending to break the seal and release the Demon King?

Then I’ll kill the Demon King; what use is breaking the seal for you after that?!”
